Here we have Stormy's trip to the PA Renn Faire, part one! You wouldn't believe how many pumpkins and gourds there were. Piles and piles of them! The giant mushrooms weren't real, but Stormy loved them anyway. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and a good time was had by all. Stormy also had plenty of humans telling him he was cute throughout the day, which I think went straight to his head. Check back tomorrow to see part two of this spooky rootling's day at the faire! =)
Not sure if mug or little bowl or jar but it is a shiny gourd! (Sold)
I tried a new clay for this one, with little speckles, you can see it through the white glaze on the inside (best seen in the last pic).
I like it, will use this clay again! 馃崅
The large compost heaps at Great Dixter, East Sussex, UK, formed an excellent growing area for pumpkins (Cucurbita pepo) and gourds. These tender annual plants thrive on the humus rich heaps being warmed by the heat of the decomposition.
Murray and Lil' Bit love this time of year, when pumpkins and gourds abound and all the trappings of the season can be seen around the house. I often find them just happily sitting among the Halloween decorations, enjoying the view. Spooky vibes are good vibes, don't you agree? =)
