🌳 We are old by internet standards. We were around in the time of "everything is a goddamn code 110% of the time." So when we heard of this, we thought it was brilliant. So here's our system code. We used this code.

It was interesting putting these together and seeing how much the modernized code has changed from the original and in what ways. For instance, the "computer" category no longer exists in the modernized one and there are a fuckton more gender options. This was an interesting little experiment and the host has a background in linguistics, so this was a fun thing to do.

it's in their dna that they're each other moirails. like they're cloned and immediately they settle into a system where jack keeps dignitary from being a lazy bump on a log and dignitary directs jack during his rages to make them more productive. for the troll session, things get a lot more complicated in exile because they catch flushed feelings for each other and refuse to admit it / live in denial about it

the rituals are intricate. why are you as a man investigating another man. etc. i think they get into knife fights that look like dances and everyone else is just like ah cripes here we go again. i also like sleuth as the prospit archagent because of hussie saying slick was meant to be sleuth's narrative foil :) which means fun pre-midnight city shenanigans (when sleuth is a carap and not a human)

pspi:

sleuth keeps pickle grounded in reality and pickle keeps sleuth from running headlong into danger quite so much. he still runs into danger but at least this time he's got snacks and a bottled water for it
