This is my personal crossover event of the century

#one of my favorite actors and one of my favorite drivers interacting??? what???#alright whos gonna be the brave soldier and write the matt damon × mark webber rpf fic-#(i read a fic w james bond/seb so imo it really wouldnt be too far off to write Linus Caldwell/Mark LMAO)#ive known abt this event practically since i got into f1 but i feel like my thoughts abt it keep developing every time i look at them again #first time: huh okay wow brad pitt & matt damon taking w mark thats really wild. f1 drivers really do be meeting w high level celebs #after i watched fight club: wow wow!! i cant believe theres pics of brad pitt with mark thats crazy!#after i watched oceans 11: omg wait oh yeah! when mark was in jaguar he was sponsored by oceans 12!!! thats sick!!!#and then recently w my increasing love for Matt Damon: WAIT OH MY GOD MARK HAS INTERACTED WITH MATT!!!! (two worlds colliding feel ig)#but i was watching some interview w matt where they referenced this happening so its relevant in my brain again so i had to post abt it #but of course in the vid the specific pic on screen was him and mark interacting and i died. like seriously i can never escape f1 and mark #mostly im freaking out bcs its truly the crossover event of all time concerning my interests specifically #but the lore behind this is genuinely really really interesting #the fact that theyre promoting a heist movie specifically and then they put a $300k diamond in the nose of the Jaguar #and then the Jaguar crashed during the race and the diamond disappeared?????? cmon literally itself could be the plot to an Oceans movie #RBR/teams sponsored by RB were so much fun back in the day!!#they had several back to back movie promotions which all were pretty fun! just a shame neither team was good back then #it was Oceans 12->SW:ROTS->Superman right? i can't remember if there was another #such a shame that neither mark nor seb were in RBR in 2005 when RBR was promoting ROTS #i think i actually wouldve exploded if there were pics of them w hayden or ewan(my prev fandom haha)#f1 #formula 1 #formula one #mark webber #matt damon

being in tampere really makes me sad that they didn’t get to host eurovision this year, because just the UMK vibe here is already absolutely incredible

#posts i can’t put anywhere but on tumblr bc i’m doing the umk posting for my website’s social media and some fans would NOT appreciate me #preferring tampere over malmö #but it’s true!!!!#the whole city is lit up with UMK colours!!#tram drivers are wearing fun outfits and there’s special teams playing UMK music #there are watch parties #there was a special event at the library of all places where they played esc songs #every other store is promoting ‘the wannabe eurovision host city’#like the vibe is incredible and that’s just for umk!!! they would’ve deserved to host and it would have been so cool #just seeing their excitement about hosting umk just makes me feel sad that they didn’t get the real thing #bc it’s so fun

local author is absolutely obsessed with raph and leo's relationship following the end of season 2 and is making it everyone's problem, more at 11!

#theyre so fascinating to me #let me pull up my notes on them so i can ramble like a crazy person in the tags #heres the thing. raph is the eldest sibling. its his job to keep his little brothers safe #and hes been the leader their whole lives. like they were clearly allowed to do whatever they wanted with little parental supervision #so it would be the most obvious and natural choice for the oldest to be the leader #and like clearly the others are on board (at least during canon events)#and leos the most supportive of raph and his leadership out of all of them. constantly hyping him up. even calling on mind raph #because leo trusts raphs judgement (more than his own id go so far as to say tbh)#(i genuinely believe that leo has always looked up to raph since they were very young.)#so i think leo would see him being promoted to leader as undeserved. unearned. it belongs to raph because hes always been there for them.#(~impostor syndrome babey)#meanwhile raph is struggling to find where he belongs on the team now that hes not the leader #i think raph would have liked to have someone guide him through being leader because its HARD!!! ur choices can and WILL have consequences #so hes trying to be that for leo. he tries to be there the way no one was there so that leo doesnt struggle the way raph did #and also its a good way to ignore having to process how HE feels about the demotion #bc it was so unexpected there would obviously be feelings of guilt and self-doubt and 'was i good enough'#and obviously raph isnt going to tell his brothers how hes struggling to find his place on the team now #because hes the oldest and the oldest sibling is the shoulder to lean on. not there to dump their insecurities on their little siblings #the problem is that leo isnt raph #and raph is so focused on helping leo and not dealing with his own stuff that he forgets that.#i think raph sees himself as the leader of the team and the smashy guy. the powerhouse #(i say that with the belief that raph is the HEART of the team btw. only he doesnt know that lmao)#leo himself is also projecting a little onto raph. like i really do believe he thinks raph hates him for 'stealing' his role #(its bullshit but like. brains are dumb sometimes so)#leo seeks out validation but ESPECIALLY raph's validation (like donnie tbh)#to leo a leader is someone you can count on. and he doesnt see himself as reliable #rottmnt #ataimw #rottmnt raph #rottmnt leo

I cannot let miscom win but it is so hard trying to come up with ways to communicate something with someone when that someone was supposed to be the one in charge of communicating it to you despite not saying Jack shit without trying to look like an asshole because youre kind of disappointed and you kind of come off as a know it all. Because. We. Didnt communicate. About it at all but somehow I know something she hasn't told me . which. Is what im mad about.
