With Year 9 of Rainbow Six: Siege coming around, I decided to draw one of my favourite casters for the game in pro-league, Captain Fluke. She is a huge inspiration to me, and a strong voice to gender identity and strength in the gaming industry! Her confidence is infectious!

Hockey Olympic Qualifiers: USA Coach To Use Experience Of Chile To Tackle Crowd Pressure In India
Tumblr media
Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro: Having played against hosts Chile during the Pan-Am Games in Chile, the United States women's team has gained some experience in tackling partisan crows and are planning to use that experience when they take on hosts India at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Hockey Stadium here on Saturday. The stadium is expected to be jam-packed for all the matches the Indian team will play and their opponents are wary of the pressure that would create on their players. But USA coach David Passmore said the experience they gained in Chile could come in handy in India. "Well, we'll have one fan in the crowd actually! But yeah, we got to play Chile in Chile during the Pan-Am Game. So kind of using that experience in our favour to kind of lean on that. And I think our team is well prepared in a lot of different ways from our preparation to handle a match like that and to handle, you know, the crowd excitement," said Passmore in his pre-tournament press conference here. Talking about the experience of playing in the Pan-Am Games, Passmore said it gave them a tremendous benefit. "Yeah, I think playing any major tournament which has an Olympics at the end of it as a, as a as an outcome is, is of real value. I think the other thing, it was the first time the team had truly been together playing a tournament as opposed to the Pro League, which has a slightly different format. And you know you don't necessarily play in Pro League, you don't play knockout matches." "So, I think it gave us a tremendous benefit to know and understand how to manage a tournament and also to sort of take one game at a time. And also you know different things arise during tournaments that you have to manage, injury, illness, all those kinds of things. And I think we're far better at doing that now because of that experience. And I generally believe we had a really good tournament at Pan-Am's and could have come out and not had to be here," he said. Asked about the experience of playing against former coach Schopman, team USA co-captain Amanda Colini said five players were part of the team when the former Dutch international was the chief coach when they lost to India in the Olympic qualifier in Bhubaneswar. "It's definitely interesting, but she is a familiar face that we love to see out in the hockey world. So I think we've all exchanged messages with her already wishing her luck and her the same to us. So it's exciting to see her, but that does not mean we will show any mercy when we get to that game," she said. Co-Captain Amanda said the team is quite motivated for the Olympic Qualifiers. "You need some kind of motivation to go all out there if you take on teams like India and New Zealand. I think that the Olympics is motivation enough. We are all so hungry. It's been our dream since we were little girls for most of us, so that alone drives us. "But also we do so much focus on the process of it and finding joy in the process of every day, every training, every match. So that also is a success for us and I think as a team we believe that happy players play better, so finding joy in every moment is motivation as well." Coach Passmore said he has a good mix of young and experienced players, adding more importantly for him, the squad has a good culture which underpins their success. "I think we have a good mix of older players, experienced younger players, and our younger players are quite skilled. And I think regardless of age or experience, I think we have a really good culture which kind of underpins our success and our journey and our path and where we want to go. "So, I think leaning on those has helped us develop a culture where our older girls can or our younger girls can hold our older girls accountable and vice versa, while also our kind of finding the joy with each other in small moments and the challenges as well," he added. Team USA will be hoping to put these experiences gained from playing the Pan-Am Games and the Pro League as the fulcrum on which they hope to mount their challenge against India and New Zealand. How much they can manage to use those gains in practice, only time will tell. Read the full article

Nick Varner Pool Cue Reviews
Tumblr media
As an expert in billiards equipment, I would recommend considering the Nick Varner Pool Cue if you are in search of a high-quality pool cue. Nick Varner is a renowned pool player who has won eight championships worldwide and is also known for his expertise in the game's logistics and equipment. He has collected a wide range of pool cues over the years and recommends 27 different types for players of all skill levels.
In this review, we will discuss two of the best Nick Varner pool cues: the Prosniper Pool Cue and the Rage Heavy Hitter Jump Break Cue. Let's take a closer look at their features, benefits, and disadvantages.
The Prosniper Pool Cue is an excellent option for professional players and is commonly used in pro leagues. It comes in a package of four sticks with a custom design. The cue is constructed with hand-selected Maple wood and is of the same size and weight as the ones used by pro players. The Prosniper Pool Cue has a unique wrap at the end of the cue for extra comfort, is suitable for residential and commercial use, and is worth the value for money. However, it may provide slower shots than others in this range and may be challenging to handle accurately due to its longer length.
The Rage Heavy Hitter Jump Break Cue is ideal for those who want a jump break cue. This three-piece pool cue stick hits harder and faster than other cues, making it suitable for slip stroking. It has a particular quick-release joint with a dual turbo lock, a wrapless handle suitable for slip stroking, and an attractive look with a matte finish. The price of the cue is also budget-friendly. However, it is a super heavy cue, and the phenolic bakelite tip creates heavy sounds.
The Prosniper Pool Cue is manufactured by Prosniper, is valid for the official league, and has a perfect break with a 13mm pro tip. It includes four blue-colored chalk with premium quality, is 58 inches long, has a Maple wood shaft, and has a perfect weight of 19 ounces. The Rage Heavy Hitter Jump Break Cue is manufactured by Cue and Case, weighs twenty-five ounces, is a three-piece stick with a bakelite tip, which is 14mm longer, and provides a customized color option with a matte finish. The brand of the product is Rage, and the item's dimension is 20 x 4 x 4 inches.
In conclusion, Nick Varner's collection offers a variety of options suitable for players of all skill levels. The Prosniper Pool Cue and the Rage Heavy Hitter Jump Break Cue are two of the best options available. While the Prosniper is ideal for pro players, the Rage Heavy Hitter is perfect for those who want a jump break cue. I hope this review has been helpful in choosing the best Nick Varner pool cue for your needs.

How have public relations in the Yugioh anime not reached their boiling point? Public events involving dueling are near-impenetrable, people can’t do all they want when it comes to a frigging card game, all the actual good cards are in the hands of only a select few, and you could be turned into a pariah by some crazed billionaire for doing something they find objectionable. Anytime conditions remotely similar to that happen in real life, heads tend to roll and property tends to get wrecked because people end up having nothing to lose and/or they just can’t take living in a world like this. Real Solid Vision can only do so much without causing a Pyrrhic victory of sorts.
Tumblr media
Because it's just a hyperbolization of real life.
You're confusing the Pro Leagues with Public Events. Kaiba Corp and I2 seems to be very comfortable supporting public events. The Pro Leagues is a football or boxing league. You don't pay into it.
What Yu-Gi-Oh!'s anime call "Pro Duelists" aren't like Team Overdose or the like in real life. They're more like The Rock, Tom Cruise, or Maria Carrey, or so such. They're sports celebrities.
You don't go into a soccer stadium and insist you're ready for the big leagues and force yourself onto a soccer team, now, do you?
Wrestling at the bar or something is different from a professional corporate wrestling match.
No one in real life can do all they want when it comes to a card game, unless you're a whale. There's price gating. The good Decks in real life cost thousands of dollars.
Hell, to build good Decks in Duel Links, you need to spend hundreds/thousands on JPGs and Data. Card Games are pay-to-play.
I mean, Magic: The Gathering is reissuing the Power Nine in a $250 per Pack deal to keep them rare and exclusive. Don't see people torching Wizards of the Coast for that.
Also, it's fully within Kaiba Corp and I2's rights to grab someone with counterfeits, tear up their fake cards, ban them from the premises, and throw them out the door.
Try going to a YCS or even a private tournament when you show up with a scribbled marker proxy on blank card stock and insist it's legal and see how fucking fast you last before the staff tosses you out the front door or calls the cops for causing a disturbance.
I will repeat this:
The Yu-Gi-Oh! anime's pro leagues ARE NOT YCS esque events. They are professional SPORTS events. Pro Duelists in the anime have more in common with Lebron James than they do Patrick Hoban.
Also:
Most humans tolerate living in extremely unfair systems.

If the dueling circuit is that much of an absolute frigging nightmare to penetrate, then why don’t the duelists that want to use counterfeits and be meta just put in the effort to make their own circuit and have it become more popular than the original? They could use its far greater accessibility as its main selling point, emphasizing that anyone can join with no restrictions on proxies, attracting people curious to see what happens when a duelist doesn’t have to play nice for the sponsorships.
Tumblr media
What counterfeits.
Kaiba only allowed GHOULS to do anything in Battle City out of a warped sense of pride. They basically made it clear the Kaiba Brothers and their staff immediately flagged the members of GHOULS for counterfeiting and falsified IDs, et al. with Seeker's Duel against Yugi.
They could of immediately killed the Duel Disks involved and only didn't as to draw Marik out into the open to get his Egyptian God Cards.
I2, Kaiba Corp and Schroeder Corp have an effective Triopoly over Dueling and the only way to play in non-table top games is through their EXTREMELY centralized systems that they have proprietary systems.
In DSOD, it's explained you LITERALLY need a Duel Disk and a Deck to live in Domino City and to get any form of legal employment, as Kaiba owns the government as it's a company town.
By 5D's, the central authority for Dueling's infrastructure, Kaiba Corp, is controlled by the government of New Domino City as Dueling has literally become a power source to keep society running.
Are you going to want to risk your ability to Duel when the authority of Dueling is the same people who controls your pensions and your government IDs?
In SEVENS, it's made clear Goha Corp is basically in dictatorial control of the government and Dueling, and Yuga's format literally required actions from a major programmer/designer who is implied to be a fucking time traveler, as well as the rebellion of the system admin who allowed a rogue type of card (Maximums).
Kids are literally banned from trading their cards in SEVENS without Goha approval or they'll get banned from Dueling.
The consistent theme is that in the YGO Franchise, Counterfeits don't work or immediately get smashed or noticed. You live in a cyberpunk dystopia. Dueling is property of the literal government in many of these shows, and in DSOD, you need to be able to Duel to get a job and a home.
You're a hamster. You're in a box. And there's no escape from the jam jar.
You have to play nice with Sponsors, firms, and the government or major corporations. In several of these series, Dueling is required for citizenship.
Kaiba Corp/Leo Corp/SOL/Goha can literally shut you down outside of extremely fringe cases. Many of these companies have kill switches, and the authority of government or copyright law.
Welcome to the Cyberpunk Dystopia, you're living in it.
