If other agents had a passive ability...
I feel like Jett should not be the only one with a passive ability. And if Riot can program Cassiopeia to be unable to buy boots, and give Jett the ability to avoid fall damage, other agents should have something too. Here are my suggestions:
Astra: Should be able to dodge a flash completely if she’s in her astral form. I don’t wanna leave the astral form and realize I was flashed.
Breach: If a bullet from a pistol, shotgun, or SMG hits his arms, it should do like, 25% less damage. There’s no flesh there, plus, they’re titanium plated and titanium can be used for some bulletproof properties I think?
Brimstone: I always assumed that he had something in his boots to help with impact since he is older. Even running can wear on joints and he’s been putting a lot of wear and tear on them considering his past careers. He should take like 5hp less from fall damage as a result.
Chamber: Should get 100 more credits on a loss. Man just goes to the bank and pulls out more this time :p
Cypher: If I wanted to meme, I’d say camera gun... but really I think he should be able to gain credits for every person tagged by an ability. Maybe just 50 creds for every tag. But he sells information right? He could get some nice biomarkers/false identities off them. or straight up pickpocket them when they step into his traps.
Fade: Should not have the paranoia effect from Omen last as long on her.
Harbor: Should not make any sound when walking on watery surfaces (split sewer, Pearl sewer, etc)
KAY/O: The knife should do like 5hp damage if it hits a person. It’s literally a knife???
Killjoy: Should be able to steal other people’s tech and help reduce the CD timer on her destroyed turret.
Neon: Should do splash damage on her ult if she’s hitting a metal surface instead. Metal being a conductor and all.
Omen: Should move like 5% faster in shadowy parts of a map. (A main on Breeze for example.)
Phoenix: Should take less damage from Brimstone mollies.
Raze: Should take like 10% less damage from friendly fire abilities. Since the original reason why she didn’t take damage from her blast packs but her teammates did was because she was radiant in the sense she was tougher. So...
Reyna: She should heal more depending on the height of the target. So Breach would give way more than say, Neon.
Sage: Should heal more if a teammate gave her a commendation in the preround time. Preprogrammed ones, not the ones that can be spammed by ppl.
Skye: Should be able to track the jellies through walls. Like how you can see outlines with Fade haunts, Skye should be able to see her jellies through walls instead of having to track it on the map. Probably not a passive tho, huh?
Sova: I think he should be blinded more by KAY/Os knife I think. But less by other blinds. Or, has a highlight feature for incoming projectiles so you get earlier warning.
Viper: Should have an actual timer on her abilities. But actually, should take slightly less decay dmg from her double. A gas mask is a gasmask. She’s still more prepared than her other teammates...
Yoru: Should be able to close his eyes on his own blind, aka less self flashes (glares at 90% of the yorus i’ve played with)

Love when i’m prerounding on babies and i go into a room and there’s no parents or nurse or anything in there so it’s just me and a baby staring at each other. and then for some reason it feels too weird to silently pull out my stethoscope and do my thing without saying anything so i’m like Heyyy Ok I’m gonna listen to ur lungs now :) while the baby looks at me like

This year
This year has been an absolute nightmare, from undergoing the trenches that was KKH paeds, absolutely fearful of the coming day, to loving and being proud of myself that I actually made it. Remebered the blurry mornings, the painful history takings, my seniors slogging it out with me, kind seniors and those that hated my guts. I remembered being somewhat happy when things started becoming better, of course I loved the prerounding. Even managed a Sasha Sloan concert midway through. Then it was Taiwan, that was pretty meh but also pretty glorious.
Onto GS, where I was enjoying myself very much the first few months before everything came crumbling down, slowly but surely. Regretful actions were made but I'd generally attribute that to the wrong crowd- GS was definitely full of the absolute wrongest people. Made it to Laufey, made it to indo once again, and finally went to Uk. Saw glasgow who held my heart since I left, but going back I realised I had taken all she had to offer. Every month, mistakes were made, plenty of I wish I didnt say that till the very end. Thankful for everyone that loved me and stood by, and thankful for myself for never giving up on me.
Then very quickly it was NPL, that was spent lazing around, Jakarta, Seoul- which was greatly healing, and Bali- Labuan Bajo. The latter of which carried news Ive always dreamt of in nightmares, waking up in tears, safely forgetting the pain that I have dreamt. However, this time the pain was much to real, till now I try not to think about it, because I wish you had been kinder- especially because I had loved you so. Sadly it was towards the end, when I came home that I realised how bitter you were, and how although you provided, I was never your pride and joy. But by this time I knew how much I had laboured, and how much I had thought of/for you. Giving up quite abit of indulgence from guilt, stressing from the concept of "limited wealth" you had put in my head. No doubt I am ever thankful that you had given me a once in a lifetime experience - that was the best in my life. But at the end of it, my sadness was quickly blunted by self-preservation, I remembered your cutting words, my earnest love, your great providence and the joy of your presence. At the end, I'd call it even- not your lifetime full of contributions and the shortness of mine, but in general the positive influence you had on my life, although I wished you were more and myself slightly "less". I still miss waking you for snacks, thankful for your ever peaceful departure. Thank you for Malaysia and Glasgow.
Oh I forgot about Vietnam, the food great, the company peaceful. My alternative sister from different parents.
Oh I too forgot about Nik, who has been a steady source of comfort on work days, thankful we got to grow together, again its not about counting the gives and the takes, not about giving what you got, but a giving from what God has given to us.
The end of the year in Cardio has been the best so far, Cardio was a soft landing spot into the realm of MO ship, Ive gone to more services, exercise classes and received an exceeding amount of grace despite my underperforming ass. Im reconsidering IM because of her, but also very aware of what stands ahead. Nothing much has changed, the motion remains very much the same, fear-grace-growth, sprinkled with regret here and there.
The proposal this year was too a highlight- true love, girlhood. Definitely felt the love, and for an all too deserving couple <3
These moments of quiet reflection come less frequently, expecially with baseline "anxiety" and lack of spirituality. Thankful that pondering over money has gotten me here.
Looking forward to a better year next year, with more looking to Jesus rather than the ways of this world.

I’m going to keep submissions open for 24 hours. I have begun sorting the bracket with characters I do have. There will be a preround with characters who I don’t necessarily see as parent figures but can’t exactly dismiss completely and the least popular characters from musicals with multiple submissions. Rather than setting a specific cap, I am taking characters with either the least submissions or no submitted propaganda.
A reminder that “pilf energy” alone is not enough for inclusion. Although I am being fairly loose with the term, if they don’t act parental in some way towards another character they won’t be included.

Actually got done with surgery at a reasonable time on Tuesday and was able to go for a walk and see some birds. Also stopped by the library to drop off some books. Surgery is not a specialty I could see myself doing, but it has been very rewarding to see myself noticeably improving each time I’m on the rotation. I started off not knowing how to do anything (not even how to preround) and now I’m getting almost all positive feedback. The surgeon even offered to write a letter of rec for residency applications 🥹. Not much time (or energy) for reading once I get home from these ~12 hour days. 📖 Reading The Cloisters whenever I get the chance

The Toolbox from Tour Striker
By ED TRAVIS
Every golfer I have ever talked to wants to play better, score better and enjoy the game more. It’s in our nature and fortunately the are training aids to help us with our quest.
A quick Internet search came up with more than 200 and that’s probably not all of them.
However, at the recent PGA Show I spent some time with the well-known instructor Martin Chuck, and he showed me the Tour Striker Toolbox, a simple but effective way to visualize the basics needed to make a proper swing.
The Toolbox consists of a hollow aluminum tube with three alignment rods inside and two rotating clutch areas each with a hole for insertion of the rods. Sounds simple and it is but the Toolbox is quick sure method of training the user in several critical swing factors starting my own personal ongoing error, ball position.
As Chuck reminded me, “Jack Nicklaus said 90% of the success of a shot is determined before the golfer actually swings. I believe that, too. With the Tour Striker Toolbox, you can work on all the elements, the soft skills of pre-shot routine, to insure you don’t leave anything to chance and give yourself the best possible outcomes when you swing.”
Without going into a long-involved description here, check out this link for a complete information. https://www.tourstriker.com/products/tour-striker-toolbox
If you have the same problem I have, making sure the ball position is correct, place the Toolbox tube parallel to the target line and one of the alignment rods perpendicular to it. The ball goes outside the tube opposite the alignment rod, take your stance and the ball is in the proper position. No guessing. Sounds simple and it is.
The better news is users can also work on foot and body alignment plus ensuring their aim is correct just as easily. The purchase price of $187 includes Chuck’s “15 Ways to Use It” video lessons, a series of “how-tos” that also show practicing the correct swing path and swing plane with the Toolbox as well as its use for putting and chipping practice.
An earlier version had been around for years, but the current model is half the weight and works equally well on mats or grass, indoors or outdoors. It can be carried in the golf bag so it’s handy for preround warmup and stretching.

Surgery
Overall: 7/10
pros
• there’s literally nothing like having your hands inside someones body and fixing their problems with your own eyeballs and hands
• loved prerounding and following my patients throughout the course of a month
• almost considered doing breast surgery as a career
cons
• no time for sleep, food, social life, even keeping up with family and gym
• culture is just really high expectations and toxic and youre always proving yourself
• was miserable from exhaustion and not having basic needs met, felt super isolated and lonely

IM Pre-rounding
Here’s how I do my pre-rounding in the mornings! Keep in mind that everyone’s style is a bit different.
This is the scutsheet that I use: https://medfools.com/downloads/medicinecard2.pdf
1) Start by chart check the patients you are following
2) Vitals - record the range of signs. Depending on your attending, they may allow you to just report that the vitals were normal (wnl), but most of the time they want to hear ranges from medical students at the beginning.
3) Daily labs - want to check their daily CBC and BMP/CMP. Then, follow-up on any labs you ordered during admission. The benefit of using a scutsheet is that you can see how the labs are changing by day. Keep in mind that the trends of vitals and labs are important (i.e. White count downtrending; BP in the 80s but that’s where she lives).
4) Medications the patient received / are on - including the PRN (meaning the as needed/voluntary medications). If they are on a course of meds, note the # of days left (i.e. Day 4 of 5 of X antibiotic).
5) Skim notes that are new since you last checked the chart, including any from consult services. Make a note of any acute/major events or updates that happened.
6) Go see the patient. Ask how they are doing, if they have any new symptoms, any improvement of old symptoms. Then do a quick review of systems (everyone has their go-to list):  any pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, cough, constipation, diarrhea, appetite, passing gas.
7) Do a focused physical. My go-tos are the cardiac, pulmonary, and GI exam.
And there you have it!
