Future Plans

I have several challenges and storylines I’d like to make, but I’m lazy and lose motivation pretty quickly, i might have a few little things I’ll be doing at once. One of my plans to is to give the base game townies a makeover, and also a backstory. I might post some little storylines of the townies when they were just out of high school, or maybe in high school. I’m excited to do this, but it feels like a big project, so I’m not sure when I’ll actually give it a try.

as a "Amy should be in Knuckles & Sonic 3" type of guy, i gotta ask, do you think Amy should be in the Knuckles Series alongside Sonic 3 as well or do you think she should be saved for Sonic 3

Short answer: Sonic 3

Long answer:

While the Knuckles series is supposed to tie into Sonic 3 somehow, projects like these are usually meant to be side-content, with the movies being the primary product. Paramount expects most of the audience (old and new) will jump directly from Sonic 2 to Sonic 3, as not everyone will watch the miniseries.

Side-content can be a good way to establish certain plot points or introduce minor characters without slowing down the film, which has much shorter runtime. Take for example "The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special": it was a piece of side-content that helped bridge the gap between movies and delivered new information on the world and characters that the next film wouldn't have time to get into. And while the third Guardians movie makes references to the special, it's not necessary that you watch it first in order to understand the story.

Or an even better example, the Official Sonic 2 Pre-quill comic. The stories inside showed us things that weren't explained in the sequel, such as how Agent Stone adquired the coffee shop and Robotnik's tech; the identity of the aliens at the beginning of the movie, etc. All of this gives us a better insight into the overall universe, but the average viewer can just watch both movies and not feel lost.

Amy Rose is a very important part of the Sonic franchise, and if she appears in Sonic 3 she will most certainly be a main character. That's why you can't have her official introduction take place inside a piece of side-content not everyone will see, because viewers who just watched the movies will be confused as to where this new main character came from.

#regardless I think Amy can still show up in a post-credits cameo sort of manner #but her meeting any of the main characters and any information regarding who she is and why she's here should be saved the movie #it's like if the prequill had been about Tails finding and meeting Sonic #and by the time Sonic 2 starts he's already there and everyone knows him #it would be weird #sonic movie #knuckles series #amy rose #sorry for the long response

#can you imagine if the 4 recurring characters were team chaotix + rouge or amy #well im not so sure about rouge but team chaotix is a possibility they had a cameo in the prequill comic for sonic 2 #and amy is the only one of the main 5 sonic characters who doesnt have a movie counterpart yet Where is she #well looking into these names it seems that most have little to no voice acting experience so maybe theyre just more human characters idk #i have no clue who the guest star could be though

I hope he at least makes an appearance in third.

I think he would be happy for Sonic finally getting companions that were like him. Because in the Prequill comic, there was a brief interaction he had with Sonic and the hedgehog was sharing his boredom and loneliness with Carl.

It's nice to know Carl happens to be the one adult figure Sonic shares his feelings with. He really needed someone to talk to other than his parents.
