Isaiah 30:18 - A God who longs to be gracious to YOU!

"Therefore the Lord waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them]." (AMP)

Some people (including some Christians!) have difficulty believing that God really does long to be gracious, show loving-kindness and that He’ll never fail them. Maybe He’d do it for other people, but not for THEM. The sad thing is that it is just not true, and MANY PEOPLE are missing out on amazing blessings that God is LONGING to give them! And Friend, “them” DEFINITELY includes YOU!

Friend, the Lord really does "[earnestly] wait [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you.” (AMPC)

Try it! Start praying in faith and then wait for God to work and you will find that,  “Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him” and what are the rewards for your faith, obedience and devotion? "His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship" will be yours!  Isaiah 30:18   (AMPC)
