If i may add to your DDlg sw post: I know a lot of us have different means of using kink and fetish as a way of reclaiming our csa, but I really wish more folx would at least include CW or TW type tags so that people who DON’T use those coping means can avoid those posts without avoiding the worker altogether. Especially considering the types of sketchy clients it usually attracts.

While i do agree with u on other swers giving tw/cw on their posts and avoiding sketchy buyers. there is no healthy way to “reclaim” your csa or abuse via kink/fetish/bsdm. ppl doing that say its exposure therapy but exposure therapy is for phobias not trauma, and retraumatizing yourself does more to re enforce negative than any good, its not healing the trauma, youre masking it.

Ive been thru a lot of trauma, a lot of varied trauma and we need therapists, we need help and solutions to our issues. kink/bdsm is not a tool. therapists dont tell domestic violence survivors to go get hit n beat up more, they dont force abuse victims into spaces that are triggering, so why is csa any different? reclaiming your trauma is healing, is moving past it, its accepting that its a part of you but doesnt have to be apart of your identity and most ppl in kink view it as part of themselves like i dont think kink is all bad but i hate the community greatly. i choose to be privet about it on here bc i know ppl are triggered by it, but like im using kink to have a fun sensory (sometimes sexual) experience with someone i trust/love/am close to, im not using kink to “reclaim” my traumas. kink is for fun, its for sex, its for pleasure and a sensory experience, its not something that heals trauma, its not something that gives you agency over past. abusive/manipulative doms “teach” people that it can be healing for trauma, but are often like in it to have power to control someone so its easier to control traumatized ppl if youre telling them that you can help them heal im apart of an irl physical ethical kink group of color, theres a lot of bad people, a lot of bad things, and a lot of traumatized ppl in the kink world. and a lof of the time we talk about racist/abusive/ableist doms, dungeon masters, or toxic spaces and how to change that. Its basically like we need to stop people coming to kink for “therapy” and abusive folks in the community from coming to events to take advantage of these ppl, many kink clubs/cafes and online spaces already have an abuser/rapist/racist/no entry list but that imo is not enough. its not like you cant even enjoy kink if u have trauma but its going to do more good for your soul if you leave your trauma healing for your therapist close friends/family. all csa and incest survivors deserve actual healing, true healing, so much so that we can live full lives again, and even if we do enjoy kink we need to do so in a way that doesnt promote harmful messages and that doesnt retraumatize ourselves in the process. we are deserving people, and we deserve to be happy and heal

6. Do you prefer writing male muses or female more? Why? i used to prefer writing male muses, then i used to prefer writing female muses, but now i’m just like 🤷‍♀️ if a muse grabs me, their gender doesn’t matter, it’s all about the character babey

9. What is your opinion on exclusivity? Do you practice it? Why / why not? i personally do not practice it. i like to interact with all different interpretations of muses, and if i went exclusive, that would be impossible. i can see why ppl do, and if that’s what they wanna do then, you go!

Tumblr can be wild for sure, but i started rping when i was around 13, and still rp now, and i’ve met so many amazing friends through it who have had a positive affect on my life.

21. Have you ever followed someone because you felt like you had to, not because you wanted to? Hmmmm.... I would say no. In some fandoms i’ve been in, there were some pretty prominent rpers that if you DIDN’T write with them, you weren’t worth writing with. Out of spite i didn’t follow them lmao.

22. What would make you block someone? A soft block would be if i didn’t want to follow anymore, so i do that instead of breaking mutuals (esp with mutual checker not working properly). A hard block would be for someone who posts triggering stuff, or a non mutual that repeatedly breaks my rules. or if someone spam reblogs from me. esp not a mutual.

24. Have you ever had something stolen from you? If so, how did you handle it? Nope! Not that I know of anyway.

28. Do you read people’s rules before following or interacting? Yup. The rules are usually a pretty good indicator of if i want to follow someone. So i try to read them first before following. I’ll also often quickly give them a skim over just before i start writing with someone, if it’s been a while since i followed.

What is your opinion on “reblog karma” and do you practice it? as in ‘if you reblog a meme from me, please send one in?’ yeah, i believe that and i practice it to my best ability. sometimes memes don’t fit for all muses - but in that case i reblog from the source. i only don’t if the source link is broken. I’m also believe ‘if i send you memes, it wouldn’t kill you to send some back at some point’

I tag triggers - but on blogs like elijah i don’t tag like, blood or violence bc that’s a given.
