Filing away Inn Between as the latest show that I should have started listening to years ago. I made it to season 3 in like three days and Lucille Valentine is there! Also the show is good for other reasons but she's one of those actresses who make me go "Is that...?!" when I hear her in a show.

so this time watching Naruto, I like many of the characters more than I did last time. But I like Deidara way way less. what was little me thinking, the man is insufferable

Actually final note on No Mercy Chara characterization. There is exactly one person that they are passive aggressive and judging with. 

You took more candy. How disgusting.. You took another piece. You feel like the scum of the earth... Look at what you've done.

You feel like you're going to have a bad time.  You felt your sins crawling on your back. You felt your sins weighing on your neck. 

There is a reason you continue to recreate this world. There is a reason you continue to destroy it. You. You are wracked with a perverted sentimentality.

They’re pretty judgey with Frisk/the Player, and can occasionally say things which can be read as insults. But also interestingly, even this is pretty rare, happening only three times I can remember as being specifically ‘things like insults’, and is mostly discussing how ‘you’ supposedly feel. Maybe it’s revealing of their own personality and tendency of being critical, perhaps Frisk really does feel bad over the spilled candy and the Sans fight. (Despite willingly going through with said Sans fight regardless.) 

But people that others seem to believe Chara would be most critical or hateful towards, or depict them as having strong feelings towards, Toriel, Sans, Asgore, Flowey... they really have nothing to say to them. No infamous ‘Asriel you traitor, you should have followed the plan’ that I see in literally every fanfic where Chara returns. They have absolutely no narration and nothing at all to say when ripping him to shreds. Just actions. Just another enemy to be beaten.

ive written a kind of opening scene for how l. furius and c. martinus meet before (not necessarily for the first time, but at least for the first time where they're actively trying to get to know each other better) it's nominally from c. martinus' pov and he actually isn't particularly attracted to l. furius at that point. it's probably there a little bit, under the surface, but i dont think its actually occurred to him tht he could fuck that old man so it doesn't come up

#also when this hypothetical book is published i want to jumpscare the dads who read it with middle aged man mutual psychosexual obsession #the idea of it not being apparent that there will be a relationship between these two characters until you get further into it is deeply #funny+appealing to me. its so funny. itd be so unexpected (it won't happen out of nowhere i think it just still has the element of surprise #because they are not the type of characters who would usually get together in a work of fiction just bc of their position in the narrative. #like by expectation their relationship would remain close but platonic. however #ficposting

I’m so frustrated rn I want to bite someone so bad I hated college okay but I spent four years in a town I hated where I had one friend putting my personal life on hold working towards a degree in a major that I hated bc I was pressured and tbh I pressured myself to stick it out then I spent a year, a full year, living w my parents while our family was falling apart trying to get an entry level job and being told essentially (and once, literally) that I was a silly little girl trying to get a job that actually pays me right out of college even though I had already done several internships while in college but apparently four years of experience are required for getting a job that is supposed to give you four years of experience and the four years I spent learning the trade don’t fucking count so now I have a degree in PR with no experience and I have experience in animal care with no education so I can’t move up in either department and the only thing I’ll ever be qualified for is doggy daycare which is fun and all but pays me jackSHIT and I’m going to be scraping by and groveling to my parents for money forever and ever and everyone in my snooty middle class family is like weren’t you going to be a journalist? whenever they see me like having a minimum wage job is as good as having no job at all to them and they act like I didn’t try! I tried so fucking hard and I wasted so much of my life trying when I shouldn’t have been fucking bothered

#i want to work at the zoo there’s a really good zoo near me and the positions listed pay good #but i am in no way qualified so i’m trying to take some extra college courses and maybe apply as a nature camp counselor this summer #but i’m so afraid that it will just be more of me trying and wasting my time only to be rejected #i just want financial security and to maybe get a cat god i hate this fucking country and i hate this fuckass week #sorry for the bpd jumpscare post everyone i just needed to vent
