Poor cinnamon roll Tanjirou, despite being so young, he carries a heavy burden that few can truly understand and empathize with. It's heartbreaking to see the sadness in his gentle eyes, knowing the tragedies he's already experienced and will continue to face.

Thankfully, Boss Inosuke is there to look after his Underling #1! I love how he confidently declares himself as the boss, yet feels warm and fuzzy and blushes when he realizes that Tanjirou truly agrees with him. It's heartwarming to see how Inosuke makes Tanjirou feel secure, and this comic portrays it beautifully. Also, Tanjirou's blushing in that last panel too (⁄ ⁄>⁄ω⁄<⁄ ⁄)⁄.

Finished Detective L tonight! Very fun❤

• Luo Fei is very pretty and the show milks this by putting him in various outfits and situations - it knows exactly what itch it wants to scratch, haha. Bai Yu voices himself which is always nice. • Laid it on a little thick with the plagiarism. Come on guys you didn’t have to lift the main theme from BBC Sherlock. • Qin Xiaoman is a typical young protagonist: Fresh off the academy, enthusiastic but naïve, she struggles to adapt to the realities of the world and of police work. Luo Fei is her foil: Experienced and resourceful, he knows how to navigate his environment. He has a playful side to him, while Qin Xiaoman is more serious. Both of them are kind and hardworking people. They work well as protagonists and I enjoyed their dynamic ❤

Haphazard (spoilery) notes per case under the cut:

• Case 1: Cheongsam Lady gets murdered (or does she?) I like the case. I expected Luo Fei to solve the first case flawlessly as an introduction but he actually doesn’t get his way immediately. And it turns out to be no murder at all! Very fun. One caveat: I don’t like the mean-spirited way a lawyer’s work is portrayed, a very common problem of the genre. A lawyer telling his clients about their rights is sinister and malicious, while police trampling all over these rights is good and necessary. Urks.

• Case 2: Accountant Lady gets murdered OMG it took me forever to figure out Ben Jie Ming is called Benjamin XD. I like him though. Luo Fei and Qin Xiaoman go undercover as a couple! Delightful. I love that it fails immediately lol. The conclusions here are a bit... unsatisfying? They had no proof against this Chen guy, I don’t like the assumption that a man in a wheelchair can’t possibly ever walk, and there is no answer to the threat letters at all.

• Case 3: Evil Music This is where I started shipping the main characters ❤ Nice actions scenes, and I liked the deductions too. I did not expect the final twist at all! Although some aspects seemed… oddly familiar… *cough*BBC Sherlock*cough*

• Case 4: The tailor’s wife I could see the solution coming, but I was surprised the murderer managed to kill everyone she had a grudge against - I expected one potential victim to be saved. That first victim was really dumb. Why did she tell her about how they tried to kill her and steal her money? Keep your mouth shut and you get to live.

• Case 5: Arson Predictable, but still fun to watch it play out, and they had the balls to make an established character the murderer. Loved Qin Xiaoman and Luo Fei’s little pyjama party, and the 4th wall breaking in the extra. Super cute ❤

• Case 6: Return of the laughter killer I called this one too! I knew it would be her immediately. But overall the conclusion was lackluster – none of them has a proper motive. Killing random students because your girlfriend’s dad was a clown??? (Did I miss something?) This case is where I started shipping Luo Fei/Xiaoman/Benjamin OT3❤

• Case 7: Agatha Christie Murder Mystery They all look so prettyyy! ❤❤❤ I did not see the brother switcheroo coming! The motive was again a little wonky.

• Case 8: I don’t even know? What is this case??? What’s going on? Who are these people? Why should I care? And wtf is this ending??? The show does a terrible job of introducing the new characters and the story - I could not get invested at all. Why not instead make use of the characters that we spent 20 episodes establishing for the big finale? Even Dr. Huo could not save this mess of an ending – or rather, lack thereof. I dislike this on principle. We ended this one on a low note folks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Overall I liked this drama. I feel like it knows what it wants to be and succeeds at that beautifully – if only they had kept it up for the those last few episodes!

Dusk…. Whyyyyy?! Just tell me why! It hurted so much! I mean, it's beautifully written, and the way you portray all the pain the family get through, the second chapter where you show little by little as Sirius "losses his mind"… and then Remus… Oh god, you made me cry!!!! My blogs relied on requests for years now; which I really enjoy, but I struggle to write for things that aren't requested: I feel kind of guilty writing random posts when I have so many headcanons that people are waiting on. The only problem with that being that a lot of people request for the same thing/same type of person (mainly white teenage characters lol) so I rarely get the chance to move away from that and make this blog as diverse as I'd like.

Same with writing for content from other countries: I'd love to be able to introduce people to foreign films; the same way this blogs works as a gateway for people to get into more retro content, but I haven't been able to "justify" spending my time writing for movies that haven't been requested (which is kind of a vicious cycle because I can't expect requests like that while doing nothing to garner that audience in the first place).

I think the lack of diversity and my weird little personal feelings of obligation contribute to my writers block but that's a story for another day lol. Point is: I'd love for more black/asian/latin american/etc characters on this blog so never feel shy when asking for them. ❤

I wanted to write about your latest drabble since a few days but i just couldn't find the time for it, you see I wanted to pin point the lines and paragraphs I loved so i took my time with it, hehe!!

So the entire drabble made me sob like a baby and i felt like both Kook and OC could use a hug,poor babies😭but i especially couldn't stop my tears and had to practically take a moment when I read these two paragraphs, firstly this-

"your weak knees give in to the pull of gravity, heedless of nasty bruises as you cover your mouth to restrain your afflicted sobbing, nails scratching the porcelain as your lone hand insists on holding you up. sometimes love is not a warm comforting embrace. sometimes love is teeth. sometimes love is biting and perversely holding on. were you not worth fighting for? this time around, can he sacrifice something else instead of you? does that make you sound selfish? what if you don’t care that it does? and you wonder if it’s alright for two people to be in a relationship despite having different ideas of what loving means. you wonder if you’ve truly changed his mind."

Like I don't know if I can say enough about how beautifully angsty this was. Like my genuine curiosity is about how do you come up with a line that goes, "SOMETIMES LOVE IS TEETH"?? LIKE? HOW? It's beyond me. Literally. That just made me feel heartbroken without even being in a relationship 😭?? And that's what art is right? Being able to feel emotions the writer wants for you to feel, even though you haven't gone through it, ever. And so i would really like to give you pats on the back, because you nailed it, you do so every time, but this one just would always remain one of those drabbles I'll come back to read again and again even though it'll hurt my heart because I would want to feel these emotions again.Also the OC thinking whether it's a selfish thing to ask for being put first is so relatable? Like, I know that feeling, that feeling of thinking whether I'm being selfish when asking for being chosen over everyone and everything else.

And then secondly this paragraph-

he wants to be inconvenienced by you. he wants to make impulsively confrontational phone calls he will overthink before bed. he wants you to wake him up in the middle of the night clawing for snuggles. he wants you to jump on his back when you’re exhausted of walking. he wants to charm the owner of your favorite restaurant into cooking one more meal before closing because you always ask him to make a quick stop when he visits you. he wants his life to be influenced by yours in every possible way, two different colors mixed in a palette to create a new one that matches the sky.

Just how amazingly parallel these two paragraphs are, I can't even put into words how beautiful they complete each other, and they are just words?? THE POWER. OC's thoughts, overthinking,all just answered in his mind is just so painfully accurate. Like the fact that he just answered all the questions of OC's in his thoughts is just exemplary, exemplary of his love. I think most of the time in life we don't know what the other person is thinking, what are they going through unless we tell them, but even through all that if we are in love we subconsciously just know what the other person wants. And that's exactly what Kook portrayed here, or I shall better say, you did it😭😭 I WANTED TO HUG SOMEONE AND CRY WHEN I READ, "HE WANTS HIS LIFE TO HE INFLUENCED BY YOURS IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY, TWO DIFFERENT COLORS MIXED IN A PALETTE TO CREATE A NEW ONE THAT MATCHES THE SKY". I'm a fan, Art. Literally. Thank you for writing this<3 and listening to my absolute non sense of a rant.

As much as everyone is hating on Luke (dw I still don't like him), I do love how you portrayed that he's not ALL bad. Like you said, if he didn't have any redeeming qualities it would hurt Annabeths character that she sees good in him. I'm really feeling for Annabeth here; she knows Luke as he treats her (and from today's chapter he clearly cares for her), but then she has her friends telling her something else. These two things are creating a dichotomy of what she's experienced/what they don't see vs what they've experienced (in the club & at shoots)/what she hasn't seen. Sorry for the long ask, it's just so beautifully and heart-breakingly done. ❤❤

Could you talk about Everlark? Katniss and Peeta as a couple. Why do you think they are compatible?

Okay, so Everlark builds and progresses over the series, of course. And it does so even before the series begins, on Peeta's part at least. Before the beginning of the series, Peeta is already infatuated, and I think that the way that that's done is really good. Because often when fiction takes a path where one character has had a crush on the other for so long, it's often quite cheesy and a little weird because they don't do it right. But Suzanne Collins manages to make it work.

Katniss and Peeta are so similar but so different at the same time, which I think is why they work so well. Because often couples in fiction will either go along a route of "carbon copy of each other" or "complete and total polar opposites". They're both very caring people, but they express it in different ways. Katniss is selective with who she's kind to and who she trusts, like she immediately takes Peeta's compassion to be some sort of manipulation tactic which is bluntly hilarious.

Katniss' trust in Peeta and her feelings for him grow over time, and I think it's beautifully portrayed in the way her emotions change. Suzanne Collins builds the relationship alongside the plot and a lot of the time authors will favour one over the other. Peeta never makes Katniss choose anything. (Gale does quite often). I think Peeta changes Katniss' view on the world for the better, and helps her open up more. I think that Everlark is definitely one of the better ships in fiction. Usually I'm awful at shipping canon ships and stuff, but Everlark is definitely up there and I love them, both separately and as a couple.

Just dropping in to say that it's been around a year since you posted Toxicology and I wanted to say that I still think about it to this day. I loved that series so much, you wrote it so amazingly and beautifully. I had never read a Damian fic but the premise for yours was so interesting, I knew that I had to read it. And let's say that I loved it so so much. The relationship between Damian and Y/N was so great to see and how well you developed it. (More in a part 2)

(Part 2) And not just that but also how you developed them as individuals and described what they were going through. Also, important to mention the surrounding characters that you ABSOLUTELY nailed and their dynamics. Ivy and Harley were the best and super super amazing, I loved them so much. Jason supporting Damian and being an awesome big brother was one of my favorite things, his appearances were great and the comedic moments were gold. I just love him so much. (Oops, part 3 coming)

And you also did incredibly portraying the complex relationships that Damian has with both Talia and Bruce, and I think that that is not an easy task but you did it flawlessly. Anyways, I just wanted to show some more love for Toxicology (I am getting nostalgic). Thank you for writing something so amazing, for sharing it with us, and for all the time and effort that you put into it. You are incredible. I will always remember the summer of 2021 as Toxicology summer. Lots of love and hugs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm late to the party, unfortunately, but I wanted to agree with all of the people who've said that anon was being awful and that you're terrific. I've never understood why people are so insistent that everyone hc the way they do. Like, variety is great, right? Seeing a wide swath of headcanons for a character always helps me build my own, as though I were choosing building blocks from various places.

Case in point: I can't imagine Fox looking any way other than how you draw him. His body is a landscape of hurt and fatigue, but you always give us signs of the strength, steadiness, and *love* that lies beneath. I *adore* the way you draw Fox.

Also, for the record, I think Amaya is fantastic. I enjoy plenty of Fox ships, but none of them diminish how beautifully you portray the relationship between him and Amaya. You have an amazing talent for portraying emotions through expressions, and every time I see a new Fox/Amaya drawing, I swoon a little bit at the way Fox looks at her.

Plus, she's just kind of neat? She's so pretty, and she's fun, and in the world of the Clone Wars it's adorable to see a character able to offer uncomplicated love and stability. Amaya being relatively 'normal' makes the way she reaches out to help Fox, and then stays beside him, when his life is just about as fucked up and complicated as it gets, all the more intriguing.

I could also say a lot about Amaya being ace and what that means for me, personally, as I reevaluate some things about myself, but I think others before me have covered that sentiment fairly well already.

TL;DR - you're great, keep doing what you like to do, I appreciate you for it!

Hi there❤ Thank you so much for your message(I've read it like 3 times haha). I decided to leave mostly all these messages to myself but you touched on an interesting topic.

I personally love when there is a character who has only few minutes (or seconds) of screen time, little or even no background and then they get popular because of fandom. I just love to see people's different takes on characters like that. I adore seeing different Fox or other Corries designs and then hear headcanons about them and even if they are different than mine or I don't agree with some, I still find it interesting(it's why I love reading post TFA release fics with Hux because there was no background on that character and each fic had a different backstory for him).

I love how this fandom is creative. I also think that that Anon message maybe wasn't intentionally malicious. After all Anon liked my Fox design, they just didn't like the ship which is understandable but still, I don't write to Fox creators when they post sth with him in a ship I don't like because it's not my business.

Anyways I am glad you like how 'normal' Amaya is. I often joke how people are so creative with their OCs and meanwhile mine is just a barista but even space wizards need a barista. Also one of my first thoughts was literally 'What if Fox had someone who is not involved into the war.' And again I am so grateful for all asexuals who reached out to me to say they are grateful for the representation.

That means so much to me; I really work hard on my characterisation (especially my dialogue; sometimes my Lester ends up sounding like Bo and I have to scrap it for the nth time before I settle on something I feel Lester would say. Bo’s the easiest Sinclair for me to write, which is hilarious when I remember that he terrified me for several weeks after the first time I watched HOW) & it means so much to me that you enjoy my works!!!!❤️
