Ginger, one of parsleys siblings, is gonna escort us. teya doesnt tell senna they got called strays xD parsley seems concerned about ginger. they dont respond to him. we get to parsleys room and all parsleys portraits were put inside.

she closes the door and runs up and hugs parsley thank god! she missed him! she wants to know everything xD she seems excited to meet us but again its all in sylvain. parsley introduces us! he looks so fond of her awwww. he did not introduce android xD he also reverts to common. she fucking hugs senna shes adorable!

shes seen bots like wheatley before. parsley has to stop her from trying to figure out how wheatley works but he fucking unscrews his arm so ok then. teya tells ginger in sylvain that android has rabies and to not go near him xD parsley has only been gone for 50 years feywild time, so shes 12 now shes BABY.

apparently their mom has gotten stricter since parsley left. trying to 'make up for his mistakes' oof wtf. ginger is glad parsley left tho since he wasnt happy. she wants to say goodbye this time DX teya accidentally drops it to senna they called them strays senna is PISSED.

ginger says mom says they cant help parsley with his quest. the guards are gonna keep a big eye on us and theres a big thing happening tomorrow.

senna notices zen holding his head. hes hearing a strange noise? almost like the connection but different oh no. hes only getting weird noises on the otherside to god thats not good. senna comments either the feywilds fuck with the connection, or those bots that got dragged away are doing...something.

ginger leaves. parsley flops onto his dusty bed. wheatley flops next to him, senna sits by him. teya asks why ginger isnt allowed to fix him. he suspects he wont get fixed until he does something for his mom. teya offers to make a 'deal' with parsley so he HAS to leave the feywilds and finish the quest or die lol.

teya asks why parsley left anyway. before parsley explains theres a knock at the door damn. its basil, they dont look happy to see parsley. they want to talk in private. he tells teya to not even bother going invisible. teya mutters in sylvain 'nice to fucking meet you too.'

Walking Sim - The First Few Steps

SORRY FOR THE BIG CHUNGUS OF TEXT BUT I DONT WANT TO FORGET THIS PAIN. NEED TO REMEMBER MY ROOTS DX

The initial idea for our walking sim was a ship in a bottle. And with this idea, we spat many following ideas like the player continuously falling down from the neck of the bottle to a broken part in the ship then into a shark’s mouth. Another idea would be an experience like P.T - the player would go through many different rooms based on the pirate ship. A different idea we had is the player finding another ship in a bottle on the ship and if they’d interact, a trigger would set the player back to the spawn point - making them trapped in a loop forever. As a group we wrote all of this down on to paper and drew out a plan.

Our final-ish idea was having the player start by falling down into the bottle, drop on the ship and then have them find a treasure chest on the island. Preeetty simple! But after getting feedback from our teachers, we were told that it was too simple :( so we changed the layout from a very linear path to an organised cluttered mess lolllll sooo instead of having a ship in tact, we decided to have a ship wreck crashed on to an island and then after exploring we’d have a part where you’d need to dip underwater but resurface into a cave to find treasure. The treasure was a kinda tricky part... we first thought in very simple terms. the treasure would be gold or something... but then we wanted to have some fun so we went with “opening the treasure to find a meme” :D A idea we had was having a dud treasure chest in which if the player interacted with it, a meme song would play but then the real treasure chest would spawn nearby. We also thought about having easter eggs in the scene in case the player would explore too far out but they’d be rewarded with something...

After more feedback we changed our concept up, I’d say every week there was a change lol The final final idea got us thinking that we should have a ripped portrait of a pirate (possibly the pirate from spongebob) in the captain’s quarters and this would lead the player to go on a hunt to find the missing piece which would be in the cave. The player would then need to deliver the missing piece back to the ripped portrait and it would trigger something. In this sense, it is still a treasure hunt.
