I'm going so fucking insane over the pool scene right now I can't even.
Just. I never really paid attention to what "Too many words" really meant but oh. my fucking god. Harrow's entire rant about being codependent with Gideon was too many words for the oath. The necromancer-cavalier oath says we're one flesh and we'll have one end because we're so inseparable from each other. Even with years and years of miscommunication and misunderstanding and fighting Harrow and Gideon are always connected to each other through so many different threads. And that was what made Gideon realize they truly are as entangled as a cavalier and necromancer end up being.
Gideon even slept in the cavalier bed that night. The instant she first saw that setup she, I fucking quote, "couldn't have noped harder at that." But after learning Harrow's darkest secret and then just talking to her for hours about random bullshit she didn't fucking hesitate to take the official cavalier place.
I thought it was obviously heavily implied, but there seem to be so many people who think they haven’t kissed yet and I just need to know your thoughts?
I’m talking about this part:
The Ninth House necromancer flushed nearly black. Gideon tilted her head up and caught her gaze: “Say it, loser.”
“One flesh—one end,” Harrow repeated fumblingly, and then could say no more.

As is the nature of making a high volume of drawings over the course of multiple months, there are some final drawings i sort of dislike and couldn't be bothered to redraw, but there are others i'm quite fond of! here's a compilation of some of my favorite stills
