I have a headcanon that Pol "Poul" Tech 9 uses a really fake accent when he speaks simlish. This comes from him learning simlish from really old western movies where Pol liked a character. Now Pol talks with a horrible Spanish accent but has the Alien voice that the sims 4 aliens have.

Journal Entry #44: BBQ at the Smith's

[🔮Occult Legacy Challenge - Generation 1 Diaries🔮]

It was a hot summer day as I joined the Curious brothers for a BBQ at their sister's house in Strangetown. Jenny's husband, Pol. Tech 9 Smith, was a retired Pollination Technician. He chose to retire here on his favourite planet where he married Jenny and was now a stay-at-home dad with their two children, Johnny and Jill.

Pol. Tech 9 did not look like I had expected! I wondered why some alien's complexions were different than others. Pol. Tech 9 explained that alien-hybrid children inherit traits from both parents, so they often look different from one another.

His daughter Jill and Pascal's son Tycho seemed to inherit their appearances from their sim-parent. Whereas, Pol. Tech 9's son Johnny had more of a green complexion. In Nebulon's case, his blue complexion was most likely due to the appearance of the Pollination Technician who abducted me. He warned that Neb may have inherited other traits, maybe even some alien powers, from them too.

I knew it was probably rude to ask, but he brought up "alien powers". I wanted to know why he didn't look like any alien I had seen before. He said it was due to an alien technology that allowed him to disguise himself as a sim and blend in.

Mortimer offered to hold Neb for a while so I could grab some BBQ and socialize a bit more. I was relieved to see Nebulon snuggling Mortimer and almost falling asleep in his arms. Pol. Tech 9 and I chatted some more and he gave me some great tips for potty training. I was grateful to have this network of people to help me raise Nebulon.

Bryony clasps her hands together and smiles. “Yes, we’re settling in quite nicely, thanks for asking!”

As the only decendents (that I’m aware of) of Pol. Tech 9, I’ve opted to move the Darlings out to Jackalope Bend and give @frottana-sims​’s makeover of the Smith House over to the LEPacy family.

“You have a great eye, sir! You can’t go wrong with The Decoy Trellis, and nearby trees will surely thank you.”

Even with Max heavily pregnant, he and Odin spend their days at the Sunset Flower shop, reaching Rank 6 this round. Speaking of pregnant-

It’s time for the twins to be born!

Odin holds firstborn, Ben, while Max hoists the first daughter to be born this LEPacy toward the sky. Her name is Zoe, and I’m low-key excited to have a girl in the family after 4 generations of boys.

The rest of the family are doing fine. It’s a crowded house, but that just means there’s always someone around to help with the twins.

Dev, in particular, enjoys the company of his grandkids.

And that’s it for the main family. It went far too quick, I feel like I only just got here! Alas.

2. I found Nervous/Pascal as one of the sims 2 community’s beloved OTPs and tbh I do feel Nerv sees Pascal as his father figure. Plus the age gap is kinda odd for me since uhh Nerv is like on his early 20s while Pascal is almost 40. But hey, I do still love seeing fanarts of them on my feed even my personal thoughts about the said OTP are different.

20. I do had a lot of otps but the most purest one is Jenny and Pol Tech 9 Smith! Ik the background is weird and the family shenanigans, but hey she does appreciate Pol a lot and became the wholesome couple everytime I play them❤

i  have  MY  OWN   ideas  about  the  strangerville  plant  now  -  since  i’ve  been  (gasp)  developing  MORE  ideas  for  fanfics  i’ll  never  actually  do.  because  i  have  this  whole  fanfic  idea  where  the  plant  can  actually  bring  the  end  of  the  world.

okay,  so  instead  of  coming  from  bella,  OR  a  scientist.  the  mother  plant  was  a  plant  pol.  tech  9  smith  had  when  he  was  going  to  retire  to  earth.  he,  accidentally,  crashed  his  ship  as  he  made  this  venture.  the  general  of  the  US  army,  buzz  grunt, discovered the ship - and SWORE he saw an alien sneaking by - which is how he first developed his hatred for pol. but, at the time, all they could find among the wreckage, was a plant.

buzz took the plant back to the lab, to have his most trustworthy scientists to take a look at it. first, the plant seemed intoxicating. so, his right hand scientist - dominic newlow, grew quite an interest in it. as SOON as they placed the plant on the lab's floor, it was definitely different than earth's plants. it immediately broke through the floors, and "planted" itself in the soil. worried, buzz tried to see if he could eradicate the plant, but - the plant seemed INVULNERABLE to ANY of earth's tools or weapons. and when they tried to shoot the plant with bullets, the plant possessed with army men to be its slaves. dr. newlow developed a strange,,, fascination with this. he loved the idea of being able to control other people. but when buzz told him that was off limits, and the plant MUST be eradicated or it'll cost them their world - newlow got frustrated, and left.

after the next 15 years, the plant has grown and is at a point where it could mean the end of humanity. the government have been trying to figure out how to end the plant's life, and KEEP it secret from civillians, but they've yet to figure it out. meanwhile, it just keeps getting worse - with the mother plant's "offspring" popping up around town, causing random ppl of strangetown to test its fruit, and getting possessed.
