Equal Pay...?

So, I was reading on Pink Boots Society* the other day and I came across an interesting discussion. Some of the women on the forum were speaking out about being underpaid for all the work they put in. Something I can definitely agree on. Working in the craft beer industry is definitely not a job of luxury nor a job that will make you instantly wealthy. However, it does enrich my life on personal levels.

I guess the question I’m getting at is, for those of us that work in “Male dominated” industries, do you feel like your rate of pay is up to par compared to your male counterparts? or in general? 

*The Pink Boots Society is a non-profit organization with international membership which supports women working in the brewing profession, especially in creating craft beer.

This trip was made possible by the Pink Boots Society, who awarded scholarships to 5 members across the country—and Sarah was one of them! From going to a hop farm to getting sensory training to joining in on a special brew day at Single Hill, this has been an incredible and unforgettable experience, and best of all, being able to meet and hang out with so many other badass women brewers.
