Photoreflection

I've been practising taking a walk around the block as a break from work lately, but I don't always have inspiration, so a bit more random photos this time. Here, that would be me, peeking from a window of a church next door. Yup, that's a church, despite trying hard to look like an inside of a bathroom.

Taken with Minolta X‍-‍700 film camera, with Tokina SD 28–‍70mm F3.5–‍4.5 lens, on Kentmere Pan 400 film. Developed with Adox Adonal, 1+25 dilution at 21°C. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 film scanner.

Lode a te Micro 4/3

Sono passato da un sistema full frame ad uno micro 4/3 perché sono stanco di dover andare in giro con un obiettivo più grande della macchina stessa (premetto ho una A7 M2). 

Il sistema Micro 4/3 mi permette la stessa focale nella metà dell’ingombro e non capisco chi si ostina ancora a definirlo un sistema limitato. Ovviamente le focali molto wide sono difficili da padroneggiare spesso ci si ritroverà ad usare un fisheye ma come ben sappiamo lightroom, photoshop, affinity... e boh qualche altro SO ci verrà in aiuto. 

Io sono stato il primo in passato a criticarlo come sistema, finché non ho capito che forse rimanere su questa posizione di disprezzo sarebbe stato solamente non produttivo. Ad oggi mi trovo benissimo e le ottiche che sto usando e provando sono fantastiche, mi permettono in un ingombro ridotto di avere la stessa focale di un pieno formato. Certo la qualità di una full frame non è messa in discussione ma fidatevi che la differenza in un contesto prettamente semi-professionale non è così evidente. Poi ovviamente io non scendo nel dettaglio perché dipende sempre da cosa state voi usando e di che budget disponete, ma basta che pensate che una Panasonic GH4 usata a buon prezzo si trova sui 500 euro e sostanzialmente vi permette di cimentarvi sia nel campo video sia nel campo foto con ottimi risultati. 

Poi non vi sto qui a parlare del mondo vintage.... <3. Croce e delizia di ogni photo addicted. Vi porterà a spulciare tutti i mercatini virtuali e non alla ricerca dell’ottica super rara super strana da provare in un viaggio chi sa dove. Il bello dell’attacco Micro 4/3 è lì, con pochi euro potreste riutilizzare le vecchie ottiche di vostro padre o chi per lui senza doverle svendere ( se le svendete scrivetemi). 

Ad oggi questo è un elogio al M4/3, per ora è amore ... ma chi sa come in tutte le coppie prima o poi...
