Aggie: I'm... Not sure. Most of my life I wanted to be 16, to learn where I came from. I thought it'd help me figure out who I am and what I'm meant to do. But now I know and I guess... I havent thought much about it since. I'm not really a big fan of birthdays.

Hey guys, quick update:

College is kicking my ass, and the semester will be over by December 17, so I'm taking a little hiatus from writing feral Don and Purple Hues until then, partially because burnout from Whumptober and partially cause I'm drowning in essays.

Imma probably spend the next 48 hours awake doing various things I should have done over Thanksgiving break, so go ahead, ask me anything, and maybe I'll check in on my brain breaks to post completely random half-asleep comments.

If you write a sequel to PHSCB, what would it be about?

Y'know, I was just thinking about this (I'm writing the second to last chapter right now!)

And I don't think it'd have a sequel, but it does have an alternate timeline that I've been considering writing. It's a "what if Casey never found the Academy" where Donnie wasn't able to escape, since Casey was vital to his escape and his survival. The AU is called FOT (Father of Thirty) and it gets DARK man.

But also, I love it cause Donnie tries so hard and is an amazing dad, but Aggie still exists and ends up parentifying HIMSELF despite Donnies best efforts.

And it's actually the brothers that end up finding them, which is fun.

Anyway, y'all are welcome to ask whatever you want about FOT, I'm still not sure if I'll write it, since I'm not sure if people would want to read it. I'll leave some doodles under the cut.

8. Do complex puzzles intrigue or frustrate them?

Yes. Just like her father, Aurie has a very thoughtful mind. But unlike her brother, she leans more towards a critical view than one of optimism. She loves puzzles if she can take them at her own pace and choose to do them on her own without being told to.

There are some though, like crosswords and word searches that she hates and will get frustrated with fairly easily.

5. Speech! Speech! Speech! Speech! Will they give one, and what about?

Aurie: uh... When... I was, a young boy, my father, took me out to a city-

Aggie: you're a girl

Donnie: I didn't know you existed till you were almost 15.

Casey: my god guys it's a pop culture reference.

Aurie panics when she's put on the spot about something, and she has a touch of stage fright. Although if Aggie ever got married she'd likely prepare a big tear jerking speech and turn around and throw up afterwards.
