The Universe: I've given you a muse
Me, excited beyond comprehension: What is it!?
The Universe:....
Me, growing concerned: What...what is it
The Universe: Don't be mad
Me, shaking, pissing and frowing up: WHAT! WHAT IS IT

It's Jittershock from Fortnite. And! As an added bonus, you'll get gender euphoria from them, and you'll make it gay. Please don't be mad 👉👈
Me, still shaking and fighting against shame and cringe: I can work with that.

Sounds like they went "well Nadira's brother is evil so maybe it just lies in the family" as the main explanation for her behavior instead of fleshing her out more and giving her more development? Something that imo could have been fixed if she had been the sole antagonist (idk maybe a version of the Phantasm ?) instead of trying to make her the puppeteer of multiple other antagonists which necessarily leaves her with less screentime for development. That worked with Ivy in Unburied because we know Ivy already from the comics so even if there wasn't as much development the audience could fill in the rest but this character is completely new...
yeah and even that was done so quickly?? like despite everything else being so in your face no one ever even really Says That, beyond ed being like 'oh i have my sister back' or whatever which was still like... okay when has he known her to be like this? but yeah literally theres SO much they couldve done like clearly they wanted to make it complex but if they wanted to make her actually feel important to the story and make it primarily a story about their family (which i dont think i wouldve loved even if it had been done better, its just not really what i wanted from the show, but thats more personal preference) she would have HAD to be more of a singular focus. its just. so many things couldve been done just a LITTLE better to make the whole thing come together
