Lackadaisy x tired reader

tired as in almost constantly sleepy but never misses a day of work but never gets a day of rest because they have other things to do. But still does their job pretty well.

You're gonna miss a shot eventually being that tired. (you don't miss often but when you do the teasing goes on).

Honestly thought you were gonna be some pathetic cat who needed to learn to stand up properly but you do the job just fine.

When you work together you can sneak into places easily to help him. A poor folk who just needs some sleep and maybe some medicine surely can't do anything and is surely alone.

Once he's gained some respect for you he'll start bringing you out on some swamp adventures. (it's him having the adventure and you watching or napping).

When you finally do pass out it could be a good idea to do it on those big, fluffy arms of his *cough, cough*

Or any part of him tbh, it's all covered in fluff.

Though will actually try to get you to sleep when things go too far. When he knows that if your next action requires a lot of strength you'll be out.

In that case you can take a very long nap while stuck in his arms (HORRAY!)

Rocky:

Poetry and stories about "the gloomy spirit of Saint Louis who never catches a hint of sleep. who's been cursed to never feel fully alive again"

Also teases a bit.

Will bring you on his escapades of arson and booze.

The other members of lackadaisy have no idea how you two got so close while being almost opposites.

You're the perfect pal for hanging out with him, he can ramble on with poems and songs and you can just listen along.

He also figures out a few tunes and poems to put you to sleep.

Also watches you sleep sometimes or will sleep with you. It's a 50/50 chance. (he's a little spoon)

He one time realized you might just drop so scrambled to make the backseat a good bed for you. (It messed your back up for a few hours and smelled kinda weird but sleep is sleep).

Has started to order extra coffee for you in the mornings when you need it.

Which develops into you both drinking space coffee. You both go on some crazy trips together and now both know the secrets of the universe.

my dsmp , qsmp , empires , hermitcraft, etc headcanons because im insane

when c!puffychu are cuddling sometimes c!niki has to come up for air because c!puffys hair is just like, very curly/wool like and in the summer they have to turn on the ac to max, very nice in the winter tho

katherine would own a motorcycle but specifically in season 2 of empires and it would be painted half pink with glitter and the other side black with spikes

c!fundy makes a contraption where c!phil is able to use his wing again, that plus the syndicate helping him do physical therapy, he is able to fly again

the dream smp did not end badly fuck that ending they all live happily ever after

life series pearl tends to pick her nails a lot/bite them and tends to have a lot of bandaids on her hands, especially after the events of double life it got so much worse, in limlife, she kept doing it and big b would help bandage her hands and when he noticed her doing it, would give her a stick of gum or something to chew on + distract her or even they would paint eachothers nails

avians (grian , jimmy, whoever else with fanon wings idk im too tired) cannot fly in the life series as the watches make their wings smaller to stop them from having an advantage / flying away but they can glide down hills and short distances, if they panic whilst falling they cant catch themselves

shelby and oli are swifties

in empires s1, both scott and xornoth have trouble walking through doors because of their antlers. Like xornoth will be chasing someone or something then he just hits the doorframe with a CLANG or scott will be trying to get outside and he just gets stuck and has to get someone to free him

speaking of those antlers my own hc is that when scott found the book in that tomb, he went from a regular elf to having the antlers and like deer ears / deer hybrid thing, during his elsa arc he shed them / he sawed them off because he felt he wasnt worthy but they grew back and sometimes have icicles hanging off them

jimmy hates the crust on sandwiches in all universes

c!purpled and c!punz are brothers, or at least sort of, c!purpled is an alien who crash landed on earth at like 5 years old and tiny 10 year old c!punz found him and they became very close, c!punz taught him earth culture

i loved that hc of lmanburg having a different language and using it to communicate and their own culture and such, for some reason I very much imagine it as french

no one speaks it anymore but when frustrated or excited you may find former members of lmanburg using it / they have slight accents

c!schlatt banned them from speaking said language so c!niki used it to spite him specifically

hcs9 impulse forgets to sleep because hes underground / inside a lot and doesnt see the sun, when he stays awake purposely to get work done gem and/or pearl will march him to the nearest bed and sit there until he is asleep

there were times where scott didnt feel safe at home because of xornoth so he would sleep in other empires, he felt safest in the cod empires because of jimmy (not because jimmy was strong but because gay people)

same with shrub, she would often end up in the overgrown napping in katherines castle

gem and fwhip are identical twins but it's impossible for there to be opposite gender/sex (?) identical twins so basically: transfem gem

I have to ask is Later Daters the gane you wanted to make. Or is it basically your company's attempt to make something so unique it has to be noticed? Could later daters just as easily been luchador cooking adventure or stuffed animal surgery simulation so long as it was weird enough?

Well for one thing I both those ideas sound awesome, although based on the Peppa Pig Youtube poop I had to watch during a consulting gig that helped us pay for Later Daters, I would imagine stuffed animal surgery already has a large and loyal following.

To answer your question, we don’t think it’s that weird. What’s weird is that so few games featuring older people exist at all given that seniors are projected to outnumber children in North America in the next 15 years.

When we began researching the concept we found only one other dating sim that could fit into - maybe - the same category: Pub Encounter is a dating sim where you date middle-aged men. It’s not quite in our category but closer than cats, birds, or ghosts.

Once we began developing Later Daters we found Last Minute Love the nursing home dating sim, which is quite similar to Later Daters but has a very different aesthetic and uses more of an RPG mechanic to tell the story.

So, we are not actually the first company to tackle the “weird” idea of dating at an older age. But your question was more why would we choose this idea instead of something even more guaranteed to get us curiosity clicks like I don’t know, a game about dicks fighting?

The answer is that we think there is a huge amount of interest in a story about older people dating.

We’re all going to get older - if we are lucky. If we are luckier still, we find somebody at the appropriate time, get hitched and proceed to live a happily monogamous life ever-after.

But, to say nothing of people for whom marriage holds no interest or for whom marriage has only recently become an option. As this nifty chart shows inevitably - even if we do find somebody and it does lead to “til death do us part” ( if not the first time, maybe the second, third, fourth time…) Eventually you will part and somebody has to start dating again.

But somehow, romance VNs are focused on love at the beginning of life. Not the wise and bittersweet love near the end, when maybe after 30 good years, you have to pick up your dancing shoes again, or try to find out whether you should pay the whole tab or offer to split.

We think Later Daters is so much more than just a weird idea to get clicks, but we understand why you might think that way. As a culture we’ve spent so much time focused on young people falling in love, we’ve made it seem like love should only belong to that age group. But when you think about it old people have lived the longest and have so much more experience that their stories are profoundly more interesting and emotional. Which is why we are having so much fun making this game! We hope you’ll give it a try you can wishlist it right now.

scps x reader with who has pet trimmings

(for context these are what trimmings look like. They're from the series Vita Carnis on youtube. Trimmings are friendly but shy and a bit fragile. This post is scps reacting to a reader who has a good few trimmings as pets. For this trimmings are anomolies the foundation contains and the reader is the head researcher of the project to care for them and is also obsessed with their little meat babies. Also this post will ignore the other monsters in Vita Carnis simply because this is about trimmings)

scp 105:

When you first met her and mentioned the trimmings she didn't expect this.

"aw....its kinda cute"

she's ok with them at first... she kinda feels bad for them.

i mean it's not scary to her, she's seen far worse. But the little thing is so strange looking compared to the average pet.

She just didn't think you'd be so obsessed with them.

But she grows to love the creatures just as much as you do.

She takes pictures of them for you, there are many high quality pictures of them you have of them on your desk.

A good babysitter and would rather take care of them for you then work.

She listens in on all your little rants about your flesh babies.

Speaking of rants she will rant to your trimmings (since trimmings canonically like to be talked to).

She likes talking to them because then she doesn't have to worry about being judged.

The trimmings quickly like her enough that they are happy to play with her

They do not see the appeal.

"Just look at it! It looks like an overgrown fetus!"

They hate how this tiny pathetic little thing has consumed your life

They want you to pay attention to them! (they're a huge brat about it)

They get jealous

But over time may learn to not dislike your trimmings so much

Still not a trustworthy babysitter though, the ooze he leaks will probably damage them.

But at least they has someone to rant to about some sob story about their life (there's a 40% chance it was made up) or just want to complain about the foundation

That's like the only thing they will do with your trimming (other then think about throwing it away)

They won't actually throw it out just yet because they saw what you did to the last employee who tried that.

your trimmings just kinda avoid them
