I kinda feel obligated to say something about R. Kelly Gaga drama/controversy/whatever because y’all know I’m obsessed with Gagz

I remember how it played out. And yes, I believe Gaga has to make a statement. And from there, the public court will be in play. 

I don’t like how it’s almost vindictive and  “let’s kill her” because she hasn’t said anything right now or before. 

2014 she worked with survivors of sexual abuse with The Hunting Ground and shared her own story with the world. This all happened a year after the chaotic workings with R. Kelly. New allegations came forth after the album came out. She was a teen in high school when his trial was swirling news media. I personally blame naivety for her working with him and DJ White Shadow was the one that spurred the idea for her working with him.

Again, I personally blame her naivety and her and her team not doing their research extensively beforehand.

The song isn’t even about sexual abuse or rape. DWUW was about how new media kept tearing her apart for gaining weight on tour. (and the photo that circulated was photoshopped from pawsdown and haters) Yes, they filmed a music video together, that leaked from TMZ. It was never to see the light of day. She cancelled the release and instead re-recorded the song with Christina. That isn’t a statement but it does show she decided to go back and change her decisions after reading critics. 

TL;DR: She has to make a statement. I know not everyone will accept what she has to say, but a statement is better than nothing right now.
