next we have the charming kielce pogrom, which was literally a pogrom carried out against fucking holocaust survivors, as if they hadn’t been through hell and back already. it was a blood libel against our people and forty of us died bc some polish kid thought it’d be fun and interesting to blame one of our people for something he didn’t do.

continuing on, we have the lwów pogrom which was largely in part due to us being scapegoats as we consistently fucking are because when someone doesnt want to take the blame for something it’s always the jews at the end of the day who get blamed lmfao. while the main perpetrators were apparently ukranian nationalists i bet everything i own that poles were not fucking innocent considering it happened in poland and “local crowds” are listed as a perpetrator which, you guessed it, means poles had a hand in that shit, too.

poland (like many countries) has a long fucking history of antisemitism that tbh there are too many to even go into but denying that it exists is extremely fucking harmful. anti-jewish violence in poland continued long after the holocaust and continues even today.

and in case you think “well that’s only three pogroms, How Bad Can It Really Be” because for some reason violence against us and our deaths mean nothing to you unless {a} you can politicize them for your own use or {b} the death toll is in the millions (bc for Some Reason y’all care nothing for dead jews unless it’s literal fucking hundreds of thousands of us), here’s a handy rundown of interwar antisemitism that poland perpetrated aaaaall by itself, including banning kosher slaughter, limiting where we can work and what we can do, and forcing us out of the fucking country.

1. Who is your bias? Why is he your bias?

Kim Seokjin! I picked him as my bias from the very start after watching their debut MV. I just thought he was super cute and handsome... and then as time went on I learned more about him as a person... and he’s just... Wow. Funny? Talented? Intelligent? Sweet? Loves food? A gentleman? Chaotic and a total boss that does what he wants???The whole package... 

2. Who’s your bias wrecker? How did he become your bias wrecker?

Ok look... it’s complicated... All of them are bias wreckers! The original bias wrecker for me was Jimin and I’m really freaking weak for him (I actually consider both Yoongi and Jimin to be like 2nd and 3rd biases basically because I have so much love for both of them)... but lately (to be completely honest it’s probably been since like... Spring Day era...omg) Jeon Jungkook has been creeping up on me and I’ve kinda ignored it all this time cause I always just thought of him as the baby of the group (I mean I was here since debut bby Kookie!!!) but now he’s like a man and stuff and he’s really hot as well as being totally adorable and sweet and smart and perfect I don’t care as much about age as I used to and like I have to acknowledge these feelings and...omg lemme just stop now...

Probably Pied Piper... and Go Go... is Go Go underrated?

The King of BTS eras... BS&T. But I have to say... Fake Love was a pretty epic era too.

This question is really hard to answer because they’re all so beautiful and it really is dependent on what mood I’m in... but just based on which one I think I listen to most often... Never Mind... The message, the lyrics, the way Yoongi raps... Idk... his music in general really touches me... (ok lemme not start gushing about Yoongi now...)

BS&T for the art and being epic in general, Spring Day for tugging at my heartstrings and being beautiful, and Boy In Luv for the nostalgia because that’s when I really started liking them...

It’s always hard to explain why you love someone isn’t it...? You can never really nail it down to just one thing. With BTS I can’t really give one reason... because there are so many reasons why I love them... their music, their positive messages, the way they appreciate ARMY and almost treat us like we’re all a huge group of friends, their seven distinct yet equally lovable personalities...

A/N:  @madhawi-aljaafar I’m sorry this took so long for me to post but i hope that you like it. I would just like to give a special thanks to @paulabear13 for all you help whilst I had writers block. You were more help then I could ever express.

You silently looked around the semi-empty gogigui restaurant, trying to calm the thoughts that plague your mind. They just wouldn’t leave you alone, repeatedly and relentlessly racing though your read with no sign of stopping, all these doubts and worries and no matter how hard you tried to shake them, ignore them, think of something else, they just wouldn’t budge. You let out a low sigh as you lean you head against you right hand that is that is propped against the edge of the table as you absently twiddle your chopsticks in you left hand.

“You haven’t touched your food, what’s going on?” I look up to see my boyfriend intensely watching me.

“I just -” you start before going quiet and looking down at your food, in front of you. “Actually, it’s nothing.”  

“Really?” he questions with a curious glint in his eye, watching you bring you chopsticks into contact with your plate, slowly swirling your food around but not actually picking it up to eat.

“I don’t know okay.” you snap towards him, finally looking up from your plate and into his eyes.

“You don’t know?” he leans forward, resting his arm along the table next to his plate as his eye brows raise.

“I’m not hungry okay. Is that alright with you?” you slam your chopsticks against the table, leaving a loud bang to ring though the restaurant, instantly silencing all those around you. You look around the room, noticing that a majority of those in a few feet radius are staring at the two of you, with all the sudden eye contact, you instantaneously look back down as you plate, whispering an almost inaudible apology.

“I’m sorry,” You quietly apologise once again, looking up at Siwon. “I’ve just been having a rough time with everything that's recently occurred.“  

"Do you mean this is because we announced our relationship to the public?” He questioned, concern lacing his expression as reaching across the table and enclosing his hand around my own.

“It’s hard you know.” You whisper.

“What’s hard?“ He asked

"Keeping up this sudden confrontation of perfection” you pause for a brief moment.

“Having to suddenly have crystal clear skin, using make up more regularly to mask what I don’t have. Even my fashion sense has be amplified in the eyes of the public. Anything and everything I do now matters, because one wrong move and it could all be over. These are all things that I didn’t think about before we announced our relationship and I can now find every little thing that is wrong with me as if I have been up on a pedestal.” You continue on, not being able to looking up for even a second, not being able to look at your boyfriends' face as these insecurities leave your mouth.

“I constantly worry if my stomach could be slimmer or my face could be smaller or that I could be that little bit shorter or if someone will notice the breakouts I have or that my hair is oily because I haven’t washed it in a few days or that my clothes aren’t as cute or elegant or girly as they hoped. I am standing next to one of the most handsome, eligible bachelors and I feel as though I don’t fit the part that everyone expects of me." after you little spout of a monologue, you finally look up to notice that Siwon has both of his chopsticks hanging from his mouth, like they were meant to resemble walrus tusks, making peculiar but comical noises, instantly bringing a vibrant and hearty laugh to leave through your lips.

"Beautiful, absolutely beautiful,” was all he said as a small smile that shows on his lips as he stares straight at you. “This is the face I will show the world if they have doubts in what my heart decided."

"and what if they still don’t accept the person I am?” You sigh deeply.

“Then I’ll make you a promise. When you love someone, you surrender your heart and never give up on loving them. You just don't stop. People may call you crazy or roll their eyes at you, but even then. Especially then! I will never leave your side, because every little habit, detail, and moment with you, makes who you are; perfect in my eyes. Even your slightly oily hair, or your cute dressed up fashion and well, just you. I will love you for all your flaws and mistakes because each little thing I learn about you every day, makes me fall for you just that little bit more and it does not matter to me what the public has to say. So, my promise is that the Y/N sitting in front of me right now is and always will be perfect in each and every way and you don’t need to change for absolutely anyone.” You look up as the last word leaves his mouth.

"Do you really mean that?” You ask, still concerned but a small smile slowly plays on your face that you try to hide at the thought of his words.

“Of course, that why it’s okay because I am here for you baby. I will love you no matter what.” He took hold of your hand, bringing to his lips and kissing the back of it.

“I love you Choi Siwon. I really do.” You say, no longer trying to hide the soft smile that will not leave your face for the remainder of the night.

First off, thank you so much for liking that story! It’s very near and dear to my heart, even though only one chapter has been posted

Second thing, your Ask is going to be the fire under my ass to get me posting again because god knows I need to! I’ve just been so preoccupied with writing my Hannigram fic for the upcoming Spring Fling that I’ve neglected my dear WIP.

Frankly I’m surprised it’s gotten as much attention as it has. I honestly didn’t think it would cause much of a splash. Welp. Goes to show how much I know!

"Diary of a young girl" "Twelve years a slave"

except where it specifies otherwise (e.g. a book from your childhood), i want to try to stick to books i have not read before, so diary of a young girl is off the table (although obviously well worth recommending). but 12 years a slave could fit a number of categories, too, so thanks for the suggestion!

Short stories: Pulse by Julian Barnes; a non-fiction book: The Songlines by Bruce Chatwin. Two of my favourite books and recommended with love <3

In the beginning when I was scrolling through AO3 to find good stuff I saw your fic Sins of Omission and its a good title, then i saw warnings and I got scared of your summary I went back and read this fic and its incredible, not like I can easily get emotional, but this fic took my breath away few times And I have years of experience reading fics(10 years tbh) and only handful of them get me so invested I will be tracking for more chapters Thank you for perfect fic and dont give up on it
