Yup, I joined the team my junior year so I only got 2 years of fun :,)

I was personally never badly injured, but I've watched many people snap tendons, break ankles, shatter patellas, get concussed, pass out, get their wig snatched clean off (really.. it was at USC) and so on. Rugby is intense but it's safer than American football, injuries mainly happen when people dont warm up, have weak joints, get fatigued (and form starts failing) and in freak accidents, but at the end of the day it's a contact sport so shit do happen..

The worst I ever got was actually earlier this semester at practice when I hurt my meniscus :( (bc it was cold! and i wasn't warmed up!) but I've gotten plenty of nasty bruises and scrapes, one in particular where a girl's nails raked across my neck when she grabbed my jersey collar 🙈 tbh it might look rougher than it feels because in the moment you're so focused on the game that getting swung around is just part of life

the snow was thicker and heavier than it had been during any other december. when the wind blew, it knocked some snow off a nearby tree and onto the window frame in the living room, where it slowly melted and slid off, leaving the window foggy and wet.

with the temperature dropping every hour, you made sure to put on warm clothes; sweatpants, long-sleeve, jumper, and even wool socks. you made sure your heaters were on and turned up enough to almost make the house a sauna.

it wasn’t planned to be spending your christmas eve cold and alone, sitting on your leather couch with a thick blanket around you as you watched the snow fall faster then you could blink. it was just too packy for your old car to drive out of the driveway, let alone make it down the road.

you opted on getting up and curling in bed, where you knew it would be warm with a book you’ve been wanting to read. or maybe catch up on a show you haven’t quite finished yet. nodding to yourself, you grip the blanket tight around you and stand up, making your way to your room as the doorbell rang.

who would be here in this type of weather? eyebrows furrowed in confusion, you walk to the front door and open it. you’re surprised to see four people standing on the front deck, white dusting their clothes and snowflakes in their hair.

tommy walks in first, greeting you with a small ‘hello’ as he takes off his snow boots and placed them on a mat to dry. he finishes by taking off his blue puff jacket and hanging it up, the rest of the boys following suit.

no one says anything at first, moving to settle in the living room where the area was just beginning to get warmer. you smile at the sight and walk over to your record player, putting on some classic christmas music as you sit next to wilbur on the couch.

“w-what are you guys doing here?” you asked, still confused as tubbo sits on the floor between tommy and ranboo, grabbing the spare blanket that was rested on the lounge chair behind him. he drapes it over his, and the other two’s legs.

“wilbur drove us over.” tommy answers plainly, his attention caught on your sparkling christmas tree.

your head snapped to wilbur. “you drove here? do you see how bad the roads are?” it was a light scold, wilbur shrugged.

“i heard you were by yourself, and no one should be on christmas eve. the boys and i were already together so we decided to come over.” your heart bursted with happiness as he finished talking. it felt euphoric that even in a shitty condition like this they would still make their way to you.

you gave each boy a smile, which they gave back just as happy. “alright then, who wants hot chocolate?” they all sputtered ‘me!’ out at the same time, causing you to chuckle at the looks on their faces when you asked.

you quickly headed to the kitchen and made five glasses of hot chocolate, adding wipped cream and a candycane as well. with wilbur’s help, you both brought the drinks to the boys, who thanked you and took small sips of the hot beverage.

in the midest of drinking, tommy stood up abruptly, his mug on the coffee table as he grabbed the tv remote from it. “oh, the weather outside is frightful.” he sang. the song was playing on the recorder as he made his way to ranboo. “but the fire is so delightful. since we've no place to go.” tommy pulled ranboo up, being careful of his drink as he handed him the remote.

“let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.” ranboo continued. the song played softly in the background as the room now filled with the groups laughter, tommy and ranboo taking a short bow as you pressed for the next song. and from there, you and the four boys sang your hearts out to “rockin’ around the christmas tree’, and going as far as making your own little dance choreography to it.

you hadn’t even realized how late it was until you checked the clock, being busy with playing board games, drinking more coco, eating cookies and the bench trio playing in the snow on the back deck. it was now half past nine, and wilbur seemed to notice as well as he packed up the game you all had just finished and stood up.

“i told tubbo’s parents i’d bring them back before eight incase the snow got bad. oops.” he didn’t really care that they stayed longer than intended, he was happy that they got to spend today with you. “c’mon boys, let’s get you home.”

they whined as they stood up, walking to the front door and shrugging on their coats and shoes. the bench trio gave you a big group hug, thanking you for a wonderful day as they walked outside. the three of them almost falling down the driveway from the ice hidden under the snow.

wilbur was putting on his jacket when you hugged him. “thank you for visiting wil, you guys really didn’t have too.”

he hugged you back before you both let go and he placed his beanie on his brown curls. “it’s no problem at all! if you’re ever alone for a holliday, don’t hesitate to call, okay?”

you bit your lip nodding. wilbur smiled, walking out of the house and to his car. the snowflakes sticking to him could have anyone thinking his jacket came in white and not the bright yellow it did.

you waved from the doorstep, watching the car pull out of the driveway (getting stuck a few times) and driving away. you sighed with a smile, the happy feeling still lingering as you closed the door and sat on the couch, listening to more music as the outside world turned into a real life snow globe.

What if I told you guys I was writing a fanfic where post-canon (Kate's death ending) Niko and Packie get together after a few years of Packie being in Los Santos. They awkwardly reconnect as friends, and Packie realizes Niko is a lot more well adjusted and healthy than he expected. Packie feels slightly intimidated but more embarrassed at his lack of responsibility. But then Niko starts to tell Patrick stuff that they had never talked about before, things that Niko never told Packie. Like the death of his brother Francis, and How Niko had gone so long without being arrested or sent to prison.

One of my longer stories, but I wanted to explore what would happen if Niko had turned Fed, why he would become an agent, and if his friends from the past could live with that. Because I always wondered what made Karen/Michelle turn fed, especially after Liberty Paper said Karen is," like you, [Niko] has a whole lot to lose but not much to live for" hopefully I can finish it or get to a point where I can edit these chapters

Well if we're talking about non rarepairs and ships that actually have SOME ground in game then I must say Brucie and Roman might just be the best, their dynamic just works so well! In the sweet bellic (I think that's what it's called but it's the one where niko goes to kill that French Tom guy) the preferences written by Roman in niko's bio just seem to reflect Brucie a little too much and also Brucie did mention that "if he were queer" Roman would be in danger eheheh.

As for the least favorite, and I'm sorry everyone and especially to my 2019 baby gta stan self..it's gotta be dimitri and mikhail.

I know I know doomed old man yaoi is too good to pass but. I liked it a little when I first started getting into gta but as time passed I just found myself disliking it more and more.. Aside from the fact that mikhail is a married man with a grown daughter and cheating is a big no in my book, I just find their dynamic more and more toxic. Though that's normally not a big problem for me (I love misery) I think this time not only were they aggressive towards each other but I can't see a hint of romance in their interactions.

I see mikhail and dimitri as two people who were once friends- brothers even, who went through highs and lows together, who witnessed the death of their nation and tried to live in what was once their glorious union while still looking out for one another, and who immigrated to a far, foreign hostile country (most likely) without a penny to their name, and who were slowly and inevitably drifting apart..because nothing lasts forever.

It could've been the money and power, it could've been the painkillers and the coke, it could've been the fact that they were thousands of miles away from home and are still, even after a decade, in a foreign land they can't quite get used to.

Neither of them wanted to let go of the other. They could only trust each other. They were the only hint left of their old lives that neither wanted to forget. But everything was just..too much I guess? This couldn't keep on, and I believe it was dimitri who let go first.

I believe that by the time niko meets mikhail and dimitri the latter has already made up his mind about mikhail. What started as just boredom and annoyance of mikhail and his antics slowly manifesting into hate as his behavior started putting everyone in danger. I even think dimtri lied about the whole petrovic situation just to get an excuse to get rid of mikhail. And mikhail, well he didn't appreciate his friends distance in the slightest. But instead of thinking "maybe this is my fault" he just started to blame everyone and everything but himself, refusing to belive that he and only he was the reason his friend no longer liked him as much..and to cope he just undermines and makes fun of and blames dimitri any chance he can get; calling him paranoid, he blames him for the Lenny situation (though as I said I believe the whole fiasco was a lie) and in a deleted phone call he even accuses dimitri of sleeping with ilyena- the wife he cheats on every day. And to whom he complains? To the Serbian mercenary that knows nothing about any of them of course!

I especially find the moment where he says to niko "Dimitri would've been some prison meat if not for me" incredibly low because..you don't just say such a thing. It's cruel and it's disgusting and serves no purpose other than make dimitri look small in the eyes of others. I find his end quite fitting, rare niko W.

I do think they fucked once or twice tho :3 but they most certainly aren't in love.

BUT if we ARE talking about rarepairs then ohh boy...nothing beats dimitri and boccino. They're like. the ship ever. Still my proudest moment when I thought of these two together one Monday night 😮‍💨✨️ I rambled WAY too much abt mikhail and dimitri I know no one will read this if I talk abt ray and dimitri.

And least favorite rarepair..well there aren't many cuz yk they're rare. But I think Niko and Derrick for no other reason than because they always kill off my babygirls francis and boccino and talk shit about them for the rest of the fic. #Fuck Derrick I hate this lying drug addict rat.

- niko goes grocery shopping with roman and mallorie on the weekends

- dwayne picked up knitting while in prison and now thoroughly enjoys knitting sweaters for everyone

- bernie collects vinyl cds and is an amazing dancer!

- packie has tried every drug every single one you name it he’s done it atleast once

- bernie hosts movie nights at his apartment

- kate forces her brothers to go to family therapy appointments, there has never been a time when all 5 of them have stayed throughout the entire session

- little jacob goes to the arcade every weekend and has practically all of the high scores

- if there is a concert in the city, packie already knows and has tickets! loves seeing live music especially rock and alternative bands

- derrick always feeds and pets stray kitties, when he is sober he likes to volunteer at nearby shelters

- brucie thoroughly enjoys thrifting and secretly collects a lot of vintage clothing

- packie has a blog where he talks shit about people around the city

- roman constantly texts niko, mainly silly memes or “hello cousin I love you cousin” twenty times a day

- niko never responds (either because he doesn’t understand the memes or has no idea how to type a reply) (he is still struggling with his phone)

Dramatic! Passionate! Mysterious! These are the three words you can attribute to the man known as Lazarus Barnabas Murnau. This wonderland deserves to have this Lord of Darkness! Outside of this extravagant persona he's made for himself, he's… kind of a pompous prick. A charming liar, that it's hard to tell if he really means what he says or not. Not that he minds, anyway. Who cares about having actual friends, anyway?

Unique Magic: "Heed the Darkness" Allows Laz to "feel" the "emotions" of certain technology. If their "emotional" and physical defenses are weak enough, he may even control them like they were a part of him.

Tiny Tidbits:

Almost every sentence he says sounds like a thinly-veiled death threat. That is very concerning.

Is hiding the fact that he's been relegated to eating nothing but instant meals. He really doesn't want to admit that he has Warm Packies for breakfast every day. If cornered into an excuse, he'll say "they're mediocre, but it's food all the same".

Has the utmost passion for the arts. You might even say he's the equivalent of a method actor, which also sounds worrisome. But this means that he's versatile in any role.

Happens to be 1/4th bat fae, whatever kind of fairy Lilia is.

Gestures with his hands a lot. Just try to picture it, I don't have to doodle it out.

When he drinks juice, he insists on using a wine glass. Where would the class be if he just used any ordinary glasses?

Seems to have knowledge on Nixciv's entertainment business. Mostly the cutting-throat parts like hostile takeovers, but that's besides the point.

Maintains perfect balance on stilts. You can tell he had way too much time to practice standing on sticks. Sometimes it can be comically long swords, if the situation calls for it. Which is rare.

The only video game he ever seems to play is "Nocturnpunk 2078 - myst -". It's a game set in the distant future that still happens to have vampires. His only save file has over 2000 hours(!) on it.

Lost his left eye in an "incident". He's not willing to talk about it. In its place is a red eye-piece that functions as a scanner of some sorts.

There's rumors circulating about him being involved in the deaths of five students, most of which were concerningly in Ignihyde, and the odd one out being in Pomefiore. They probably all stem from the fact that Laz was the last person they all met before going missing. At this point, he's resigned himself to these rumors. He might even stoke the flames a bit just to raise his mystique.
