Let's Play Pac-Man World 2

I'm back with another quality game from my childhood: Pac-Man World 2! This is a 3D platformer that is, in my opinion, extremely underrated. It has some very fun and creative level design, a big variety of themed worlds, a really impressive soundtrack, and enough collectibles and bonus content to keep you busy for a while. Join me as I play through every level and finish the main story.

"Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac" Video Game idea

Almost two years ago, Bandai Namco released "Pac-Man World Re-Pac", which was well received as far as I'm aware. I only remember playing the second game after renting it from Blockbuster for my PlayStation 2. And I did have some enjoyment for the most part while playing the sequel. I even discovered this weird glitch in "B-Doing Woods" where Pac-Man dies if you land on the net in the first part of the level.

Regardless, I was thinking that someday, Bandai Namco should develop "Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac", which would basically be an HD remake of "Pac-Man World 2". Down below are a list of creative changes I would make.

LIST OF CREATIVE CHANGES

A no-life mode feature, mainly for the little kids having a hard time completing levels. This feature can be turned off if you prefer having the life system to make the game more challenging.

A remap of the button layout. For instance, in the original game, pressing the jump button twice makes Pac-Man do a butt-bounce. To accommodate this issue, the remake will just make Pac-Man do a double-jump by pressing the jump button twice. The butt-bounce can be remapped to something like say, X and Circle (for the PlayStation version as an example)

Like "Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time", there can be a multiplayer challenge mode where four players in split-screen multiplayer either compete or cooperate to reach the end of a level.

There's not much I can say about this idea, but hopefully Bandai Namco will do something like this in the future.

Pac-Man World 2 got me thinking about how the main antagonist's design was pretty neat and I'd love to see what a redesign would be if they do a remake for that game like they did with the first one
