You sit with Amity and Luz stargazing on the roof. You have a late night date in an hour but for now you're sitting and enjoying the view.

You look so pretty and I love this view

As Luz sits Inbetween you and Amity you lean on one of her shoulders as Amity leans on the other. You're all smiling as you sit close. Amity and you glance at each other happy as Luz begins to hum.

We fell in love in October

It's almost time to go so you and Amity straighten. She looks around before she summons an abomination slide.

That's why, I love fall

You jump on the slide first holding out your arms as you go down. The leaves fall and twirl around you as Amity keeps the slide safe. Luz follows you jumping into your arms when she reaches the bottom, then Amity before she makes the abomination goop disappear.

Looking at the stars

You all stare at the stars one more time before you hold each other's hands.

Admiring from afar

Camilla, Vee, Gus, Willow, and Hunter watch from the window as you walk down the sidewalk together.

Skipping down the sidewalk with them at your side you head to the malt shop excited.

Grabbing a fry and dipping it in your milkshake you dab at Luzes nose with a giggle.

As Amity kisses Luzes nose to get the milkshake off you look at the both of them with a loving gaze. The jealousy you once felt of Amity no longer there.

Reaching out to hold Amity's hand she goes to grab it back only to trick you and flick whip cream at your face. Blinking surprised you laugh as Luz kisses it off. The two hanging up on you.

Continuing to eat and drink you laugh and tell jokes as you share your different flavored milkshakes and fry basket.

Watching the colorful leaves swirl outside the diner window on the foggy night you think you could get used to Fall and Earth's Seasons.

Hunter was sitting in the owl house at the table with Eda and they each drank a cup of apple blood

Thanks for letting me stay here, I promise I'll make myself useful *Hunter said confidently as he took another mouthful of apple blood*

No problem kid, I know how traumatic it can be to work for the emperor* Eda said completely calm but in a soothing way*

a sharp and violent sound can be heard from upstairs at the same time that made Hunter jump from his chair

What happens? Is Belos here? He found us? It's only my fault! LUZ, LUZ, HE FOUND US! *Hunter shouts in a total panic, starting to go upstairs*

chill kid, it's just Luz, she does this every once in a while *said Eda taking another mouthful of apple blood* in fact, since I found that thing she doesn't let it go

Hunter had gone to see that thing Eda was talking about and saw Luz standing there holding a large but thin black and light blue thing in her hand. It looked like it had some kind of horns and a long neck with some metal stuff hanging around it.Hunter saw Luz very focused (it was the first time he'd seen her like that) while strange loud distorted sounds came out of the thing and Luz made it worse by hopping around looking more like she was having a stroke.

She's fooling around as usual *Hunter said to himself and let him go*

Hexsquad going trick or treating in the human realm w/ Vee and Camilla and our favorite local witches (and Luz) missing their families mayhaps?

"Your candies weird it gets all stuck behind my fangs." Hunter states as he opens his mouth and swipes his tongue behind his teeth to dislodge the caramel. Thinking back to what Luz said about Boiling Isles sweets you paused.

"The coven let you have candy?" Smacking your arm in protest of the joke you chuckle letting him take another piece as compensation. As he bit into the next one you smiled at him. "It's good though isn't it?" You ask as you take out your favorite candy from your pillow case and unwrap it before you begin to chew on it.

"... Yeah." He states moving his jaw around before he sticks his hand in your candy bag looking for yet another piece. Gus seeing the opportunity also reaches into your bag.

"Yeah go ahead." You tease letting them loot your supply despite the fact they had their own. It was their first Halloween after all and you'd rather they take from your bag then someone elses and get on trouble. As much as you hated sharing your loot you didn't mind in this case. Besides tomorrow you could buy candy for half off so this was more for fun than anything.

"Thanks (Y/N)." Gus chirps as he swings his candy pail around a large smile on his face.

"Your welcome." You hum with a soft smile. So far this Halloween was going great.

"Free candy." Luz states with a smirk as she suddenly dives into your pillowcase while you're distracted by your thoughts. As a cold breeze rushes past leaves twirling on the ground you glare at her but she either doesn't care or isn't scared.

"Okay who else?" You question wanting everyone to get their fill so you could start filling up again. Willow looked at you with puppy eyes and as Amity grabs one of Luzes favorite so she can have extra later you rolled your eyes.

"You better share your candy later." You hum. Buying your own later or not they were still stealing.

"Promise." Luz states but as you step up to the next house and knock on the door your pretty sure she's sticking her tongue out at you.

"Trick or treat." You all state and despite knowing your candies gonna get stolen at least your having fun now.

"Race ya to the next house!" Gus yells and as you're all laughing and chasing after him you've never felt happier.

and I have an idea for a platonic ask(if you wonder why my asks are platonic I'm ace and non binary) but here it goes human reader jamming on guitar at hexside and reader is luz friend and raine is there for a visit they hear readers music and decide to come listen

I relate to raine a lot I like my music but get nervous playing in front of people

Raine didn't hate people per se despite what others said. They were just... Less tolerant of people than others. An introvert had their own skills and as a talented musician their skills showed. Just not always on stage. Besides as a spy it was better not to be seen, simply heard. A small suggestion here or there. A plan sabotaged every now and than.

"Now where is that classroom? Hexsides moved some things around." Raine hums to themselves as they wander down the schools hallways. They smile remembering fond memories of their Hexside days.

Eda and Raine had re-established contact and we're now in a much more open and honest relationship. It had been hard to hear about Edas struggles with her identity and self and how much pain the Owl Lady had gone through alone but Raine thought their relationship was better for it. It also explained a lot of Raines unanswered questions which left them relieved. Eda had asked Raine to keep an eye on her protege Luz as they were assigned to do check ups for the Emperor anyways. He had decided to send a coven head to check on the school since it went relatively untouched. As Raine checked the doors number they looked for the mischevious human (Eda's unofficial adopted child) believing formally introducing themselves was needed. The school was one of the only place Belos didn't have spies (well Raine was the spy but they were a double spy so does a spy not spying cross the spy out?) so Raine wasn't concerned on getting caught. After all they were a welcomed guest since they were an alumni and Principal Bump knew of the rebellion being apart of it himself. He was glad Raine was giving the updates to Belos and not another coven head who may mention their new mixed tracts policy.

"Interesting Eda never mentioned music..." Raine mused to themselves as they listened to a powerful song being played. It was coming from down the hall in the room Eda said Luz would be in. As each chord was played it struck an emotion Raine didnt realize they were feeling. Memories flooding their head as the music washed over them.

Raine smiled softly beginning to hum along as the music got louder. Raine was never told that Edas apprentice was also a master of the arts. Eda had mentioned a drawing or two in passing as well as the occasional story Luz gave her as a gift but not any musical talent. As something soft and melodious filled their ears they were drawn closer to the classroom, enthralled by the sound. And there Luz was but she wasn't the one playing.

Looking up adjusting their glasses as they leaned against the doorway Raine was surprised to see you with Luz as it was technically after hours. You were a Hexside Student wearing multiple magic tract colors but the main one being red.

A fellow bard.

That made more sense. You were simply Luzes friend. A multi tract one at that.

"Oh Raine! Hi... your here!" Luz says surprised as she begins stumbling over her words and blushing. She waves excited and you get a bit distracted but play on almost done with the song. Raine recognizing the ending chords to this piece.

"Luz." Raine greets with a chuckle before they turn to you. You smile at them clutching your guitar close and Raine wishes you'd play something else as the song comes to an end. How have they not heard of you before? They may have stage fright but they kept up with all the other performers in the Boiling Ilses and as head bard it was their duty to know the up and coming music proteges. Obviously they didn't want you to join the coven as covens were dangerous and lies made up by Belos but regardless they should know you, your musical talent not going unnoticed. "Who's your friend?" Raine questions trying not to be too awkward as they observed the wide eyed student with curiosity.

"Oh them? Ummm that's..." The person slides off the desk they were sitting on and the instrument they were playing disappears in a puff of red smoke. They shyly walk up to Raine and hold out their hand with a nervous smile.

"Hello Bard Coven head. (Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N)." They state with a bit of confidence as they swallow nervously. Raine smiles back at them and taking their hand they shake it gently before they do a little bow.

"Raine. Raine Whispers. Head of the Bard Coven but please don't be so formal, just call me Raine." They instruct never liking the sound of Head bard simply taking the job to stop Belos from the inside. "You my dear have a talent." Your face heats up and Raine sends you a playful wink before they turn to Luz. "Luz I need to speak to you privatley. But (Y/N)... I'd like to keep in touch." They explain and you nod eyes wide at the possibility of being noticed by the Head Bard of the Covens system.

As you leave to wait outside you summon your guitar and hold it close making Raine smiles. The Owl Lady was always introducing them to the most interesting people.

Ask: Okay okay so halloween req right? i have to different ideas that you can choose from 👯‍♀️ SO there’s either doing that sheet blanket ghost thing that went trending on tiktok ORRRR CARVING PUMPKINS?!!!! both with hunter ofc and his very lovely human!s/o?

It starts as Luz and Guses idea but Willow really helps execute it! While Gus knows about pumpkin carving from human media and books he's seen and read in the Isles, Luz and you are the only resident humans. So while Guess enthusiasm is cute your the ones who actually explain what pumpkin carvings are used for and how to do them. Willow grows and makes the pumpkins while you tell the others how to carve.

You set up in the yard outside. Plastic garbage bags and other precautionary measures are taken so there isn't a huge mess. Camilla says she doesn't mind pumpkin guts as long as they stay outside and wants pictures when you're all done since she has some errands to run.

First before you carve the pumpkins you have to gut them. Showing your friends how to cut the top off, you twist the stem and pull up bringing a bunch of guys out. They copy with mixed results and soon a pumpkin gut war breaks out. Amity pulls a little too hard and smacks poor Willow In the face with some guts. She then proceeds to scoop out a handful of her own and toss it at back at Amity. Soon sides and alliance's are being formed and pumpkin guts are being tossed all around the yard as you all laugh.

Now that the pumpkins are hollow and the guts have been used you put them aside and begin to clean the yard up. You place the guts into a pile on a garbage bag and begin to separate the seeds explaining you can bake them later. The kids excited to try human food and take part in this human tradition are quick to help. There's a pile for salvageable guts and a pile for grass and mud stained guts. Whatever can't be picked up is sprayed with water to spread out into the yard.

Once the wars over and everything's all cleaned up you and Luz get back to your carving lesson.

Hunter while being the most proficient with a knife in the group is not the best artist. His first pumpkin carving is mostly stabbing and while he's definitely making precise stabbing marks that's not really the goal. You giggle before offering to help and he accepts. Placing your hands on top of Hunters you help him carve a large smile on your face as you and him try and make a wolf.

You all have fun making your pumpkins. While all of them come out a bit wonky it's less about how they look and more about how they make you feel. You decide to give each pumpkin a reward, the others in the group getting to decide the rewards name.

Luzes looks the best because she's had the most practice so she gets the Perfect Pumpkin Reward. You and Hunter come in second place with Wildest Pumpkin Award since you did a wild wolf. Willows gets the scariest award with a creepy face she carved and Guses gets the silliest as he made a joke. Meanwhile Amity is rewarded with the neatest pumpkin title as her lines are the cleanest and Vee is given the sweetest pumpkin award because she carved a cute kitty.

You all have fun putting your pumpkins and the porch and lighting your pumpkins with candles. While they weren't the greatest looking pumpkins you had a lot of fun making them.

Bonus: Cardinals you learn LOVE pumpkin seeds. FlapJack gets a belly ache from eating too many from the carnage that was your pumpkin guts war.

may I suggest a platonic ask of another human who's a student at hexside who studies all the tracks saves principal bump(after he gets hurt) from another basilisk or other dangerous creatures and heals his wounds after with a healing glyph

You had discovered the way into their magical world accidentally. Thankfully there were witches who had no magic so as long as you covered your ears no one gave you a second glance.

Surprisingly Principal Bump after learning the truth was the one to take you in.

You'd snuck into the school after stealing a uniform from a clothes line and were wandering around the halls exploring when you bumped into him. Going to run away hoping to avoid being discovered he uses purple goop to keep you in place before he begins to reprimand you. You didn't know much about magic but you'd been learning, watching from a distance. You knew this stuff couldn't be easily escaped and thrashing the man infront of you frowned. Clinging to your hat and clenching your eyes shut he gently takes it off stating it wasn't dress code only to pause. Staring at you than both ways checking for anyone who might've seen he puts the hat back on your head before the purple stuff fades. Staring at him confused he swallows eyes darting both ways. Putting his hand on your back he leads you forward. You hesitate wanting to get away but he softly shushes you keeping a tight but gentle grip as he wearily watches the hallways. Eventually after passing several class rooms and various study halls he takes you to his office. Once behind closed doors he signs only to turn as he begins to question you.

Feeling overwhelmed and kind of terrified that your now alone, you really don't know how you got here!

"Really I don't know! I was just in the woods after school one day and than I-" And when you start crying Principal Bump stops realizing he'd overwhelmed you. Opening his mouth to comfort you, you just start sobbing. Fumbling over your words you explain your perilous journey through a strange place full of glowing portals and soft strange voices before you arrived here where now you were just trying to get some answers.

Bump can't stand to see you this way. Any child in distress leaves him concerned and as a caretaker of the children in this school he decides he can't just leave you behind. You may be human but your wearing the stolen uniform. That makes you a student, unofficial or not he saw no reason for you not to be here.

He knows he should report you to the Emperor's Coven, he knows he's painting a target on your back by allowing a "non-magic witch" to attend his school but he doesn't care, all he cares about is you and your safety. He'll help you find a way home and until than you'll stay with him, keep your hat on, and learn at the school.

It truly surprises him as he's about to be drained of magic and die at the Basilisks claws how he thinks of you in his last moments. Dangling infront of the serpent's mouth snake tail wrapped tightly around his legs he closes his eyes ready for the inevitable.

"I'm sorry..." He mumbles thinking of you and his poor palismen who was trapped on his head and couldn't escape either.

He wonders where you'll go, what you'll do without him. You had grown so much in these last months both physically and emotionally. You'd gotten stronger, braver, and bolder. Every track of magic you studied strengthening a skill you already had. You were always curious. Always asking him questions as you worked together. And doing hours of research on your own that you than shared with him, showing him your findings with pride. You truly brought a perspective to his magic he had never thought of and he proudly published you in the schools library.

He couldn't be more proud or ask for a better prodigy.

You'd learned to do magic your own way while at his school. You'd befriended the only other human at Hexside and together you were becoming masters of magic in multiple tracks despite not having a bilesack. He hopes Eda had room for another student or that someone else trustworthy would take you under their wing. As the coils around him tightened scales digging into his flesh and the hissing grew louder he waited for the creature to strike, only to pause as he began to fall. Letting out a surprised yelp he feels petals flutter around him and opening his eyes he's on a blanket of soft vines. You stand nearby hands full of glowing green Glyphs and eyes burning with determination as you refuse to loose to the Basilik.

"Dad are you okay?" You demand before turning to glare at the creature who dared hurt him.

"... dad?" He questions softly and his palismen chirps happily on his head.

Principal Bump had never had a family of his own. Far to busy with other matters but hearing you say those words made his head spin. He was proud of you but he was also proud to be your father. He was so proud of you and your skills. And he wishes he could say that now but he was in shock. As you go to help Luz his hand suddenly shoots out and latches around your wrist.

"... I'll be okay." You promise him and he's hesitant. Even his palismen agrees and as he hears his palismen murmur softly not wanting to let you go either he closes his eyes and nods.

You were ready.

"Go save Luz." He agrees and you smile before running to help your friend.

He watches enamoured. Tunnels of fire, walls of ice, hundreds of vines working in various shapes. And you were behind it all. Luz as well but still it was impressive. As the Basilik falls curling into itself hurt you hug Luz before running towards Bump who was still sitting on the vines hovering over the school floor.

Taking out one last glyph you smile at him.

"It's a new one. This is a mix of plant and potion." You explain to him eyes sparkling. "It heals!" Gently placing said glyph onto his leg where he'd been wounded after being squeezed too tight, he grunts as it burns for a second before his bruised flesh is healed as if nothing happened. The glyph fades and you smile at him before wrapping your arms around him. He's surprised but smiling he hugs you back. Burying your face in his coat he closes his eyes a hand brushing your hair.

Now or never.

"I... I am so proud of you." He whispers. "... So proud my..." Bump hesitates before he squeezes you tighter. "My child." He adds and you hide your face in his robes.

His child? You could get used to that.

Luz walks through the Owl Ladies door to the Demon Realm. As she looks around the place she is unsure but slowly gains confidence.

I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine

She has a hop in her step and looks excited at the fantastical world. It's different from anything she's ever known but not in a bad way.

I got a love and I know that it's all mine, oh, oh-oh

She makes eye contact with you at Edas stand before Eda ends up running off with her to avoid capture from the Emperor Covens Guards. She loses your face in the crowd but remembers your eyes.

Do what you want but you're never gonna break me

Luz hours later stands in the Conformitorium ready to defend her new friends and get King his crown back.

Sticks and stones are never gonna shake me, oh, oh-oh

Holding Edas palismen determined Luz stares up at Warden Wrath ready for a fight. She will not stand down.

You swoop in on your palismen staff with a cape and mask to save Eda, King, and Luz. The other prisoners have already escaped thanks to your help.

Hitting Warden Wrath with a fire blast you all escape together laughing as you do so. You fly through the woods weaving in and out of trees quickly so the guards can't capture you.

Luz makes eye contact with you as you escape and pauses recognizing your eyes. You send her a smile over your shoulder and she knows it's you. Her arms wrap around your waist as you take off through the woods towards the Owlhouse.

She leans her head against your shoulder and as you land infront of Edas home she makes up her mind to stay and become a witch like you and Eda!

You show up at the Owlhouse the next day to help Luz with her witch training. Eda smiles at the both of you ready to teach.

Luz's face scrunches up as she sees Eda digging through a large pile of garbage for human stuff to sell. You chuckle and bump her shoulder before going to help her find something.

Minutes later you grab Luzes hand after she's gifted a seed from Eda. She follows you as you lead her away into the woods.

Hiding in the bushes deep in the woods you smile at Luz and cast a spell circle to show her why she's learning what she's learning from the Owl Lady. Her eyes sparkle as she stares at you and your magic.

You sneak Luz off to Hexside with Willow so she can learn magic. You grab her hand excited to lead her there.

Luz stares at your joined hands before she blushes. She looks up at you who's excitedly talking about magic with Willow and how Luz will love your school. As her heart beats faster her face gets redder.

She looks down shyly and squeezes your hand tighter as you lead her into the magic school with Willow. Her eyes go wide as she stares at all the different coven flags and sees the various witches and demons milling about the hallways.

Do what you want but you're never gonna break me (Oh)

Amity corners Luz in a hallway when she gets seperated from you. She tells her she'll never be a real witch and how you only pity her. She needs to stay in her own lane and stop pretending to be a magic student/Abomination creature because your an actual witch, and a powerful one at that. You deserve better.

Sticks and stones are never gonna shake me, oh, oh-oh

Luz then sees you run by the hall looking for her with a worried Willow and Gus. She clenches her fists before she remembers feeling your hand in hers.

She smiles at Amity and shrugs her off before leaving to find you. You and Luz hold hands again when she finds you. Abomination goop gets all over your hands but you laugh not caring.

Luz smiles at you as you take notes in class. She busily writes notes too but she has a little doodle of you on the corner of the page. (Maybe there's a heart next to said doodle)

Luz leans her head on you during lunch and smiles up at you with a dopey grin as you laugh at a joke Gus told. You share your lunch with her and she happily eats with all of you.

Willow and Gus give each other a smug look seeing Luz clearly has a crush on you. You seem oblivious but they have a plan to push you two together.

Amity is seething as she watches Luz and you interact. Boscha and Skara ask her what's wrong but she ignores them simply glaring at her food.

Amity tries to make Luz trip with abomination magic to embarrass her and keep her away from you, but Luz simply stumbles before you catch her with a smile. Holding her waist she loops her arms behind your neck and you blush at each other before laughing.

Amity angrily stalks off as you smile and laugh with Luz. Luz blushes before looking away her face a deep red again.

After school you and Luz ride home on your palismen together. You smile excitedly talking about her first day at Hexside and how eventful it was while she just stares at you in awe.

You go through the secret path in the woods that you always took to get to the Owlhouse. Holding your arms up and out, loose flowers and leaves fly off the trees leaving Luz to stare in wonder as petals fly around the both of you. You smile tilting your head back and yell out happy.

As your palismen speeds up Luz blushes and grabs your waist again worried about falling off. You look back and smile at her before taking one of her hands in your own. Holding it up you brush through the leaves and flowers together while she hangs onto you.

You take the long way so Luz can really see the Boiling Isles and get a sense of it since Eda hasn't really showed her anything in fear she'd get hurt. You pass massive towns and farm settlements, the castle looming in the distance.

Luz thinks of her time on Earth and realizes she wants to stay with you forever. She wants to explore all this strange world has to offer.

She reflects on how much fun she's had these last couple weeks with you and Eda and how even when Amity told her to stay away from you she knew she wouldn't and couldn't.

Leaning closer to you, you just smile at her seeming excited to just be alive. After your mini tour of the Isle's you head back to the Owlhouse.

As you land you help Luz get off your staff before you both run into the Owlhouse excited to tell Eda everything you'd learned that day. The Owl lady is amused by your antics and keeps Luze's first Wanted poster. You promise Luz you'll sneak her inside somehow.

There's a place that I go that nobody knows

The next day you take Luz to a hidden place in-between the Owlhouse and Hexside. It's where you study wild magic where no one will see or bother you for studying mixed magic.

Where the rivers flow and I call it home

You spin in the large cave space showing it off. You drag your hands through the multiple water falls that drip in the cave as you spin because here it wasn't Boiling water. Luz watches you with wide eyes because you look wild and free.

And there's no more lies

You place your bookbag down on a log you dragged out here as a makeshift desk and smile as you hand Luz your old training wand. She sees papers on the wall with notes as well as books on wild magic scattered about.

In the darkness there's light

Luz holds the wand before she uses it to practice her light spell. Little balls of light fill the cavern and you smile at her progress. The water reflects the light making the cave a paradise for just the two of you.

And nobody cries

You look at each other smiling before you begin to show Luz all your research and what your working on. Luz realizes she finally found somewhere she belongs. That you'd never commented on how she was weird or strange for wanting to learn magic depsite being a human.

There's only butterflies

As you look at each other and smile ready to start a magic lesson her stomach erupts in butterflies.

Luz smiles as she holds onto your waist again. Your taking her back to the Owlhouse and she's lost in thought.

She thinks about the cave you just took her too and how you trusted her to see something so personal and private. How you not only trusted her enough to share it with her but show her.

You take Luz to a Witches Convention so she can see the Emperor's Coven. Eda scoffs but you tell her you want to join so you can master all the different types of magic. You even take special classes at Hexside thanks to Bump who supports your ambition's.

While King runs around getting free stuff or "offerings" you find Edas sister Lilith. Striking up a conversation with her your unaware of Amity's cruel behavior towards King and Luz and how she mocks them. Lilith admits she has been watching your progress at Hexside and is impressed.

Somehow Luz and Amity get into a witches duel while you were talking with Lilith. She suggests you take Amity's place knowing you're stronger but you refuse to fight Luz much to the witches disappointment. Amity seems dead set on winning (because she wants to impress her future mentor and you) worrying you.

Lilith states you will have other chances to prove yourself to the coven and has you stand next to her to watch the match. You give Luz an apologetic look. Eda boomy traps the arena so Luz will win as she only knows the light spell which isn't meant for fighting. When Amity is about to hurt Luz you disappear from Lilith's side and swoop in as your wild witch persona to save her. Despite your best efforts you get separated during the fight because of Eda and Lilith's magic once they start dueling.

It's revealed to you after the fight that Lilith cheated like Eda leaving you surpised. You go home with Eda, Luz, and King in your wild witch persona. Eda notices the Emperor's Coven pamphlet in your hand that Lilith left with her number on it and offers for you to join the Bad Girls Coven instead. You chuckle and tuck the pamphlet away. You tell Luz no matter what Amity said she's a real witch and she doesn't need traditional magic for that to be true.

Luz wants to try out for HexSide and you're excited for her to join you at school officially. You, Eda, and her go on an adventure to teach her more about magic so she can join you in the more advanced classes. She leans against you smiling softly as you fly to the Knees where it's freezing to see ice magic.

You bump into Amity and the twins while training. Edric and Emira are happy to see you and Luz while Amity seems flustered at the both of you. You notice her and Luz are getting along better and are happy to see it. Luz gets embarrassed by Edas teaching while you smile excited to learn from the wild witch even if her teachings are eccentric.

You get captured by the Ice Beast and Amity Is unable to help as Luz used up all her wands power. Luz grabs your hand but you get dragged away with Eda before she can help. When her and Amity team up they're able to save everyone. You're glad to see them getting along as you make your getaway from the creatures' lair. You're so proud of Luz for discovering another Glyph.

Since Luz has learned a new Glyph she will be joining you in the more advanced classes. You're so excited for her to be unbanned from Hexside so she can start learning.

The First Day of Hexside is full of adventure. This time she doesn't have to hide as an abomination. She looks at your joined hands as you run through the school to where Bump is waiting. She stares down at you intertwined hands and smiles.

You cheer her on as she tries out for Principal Bump. It's terrible but he assures her he's seen worse and decides she can join Hexside as an official student. She however, will not be joining you in your more advanced classes.

As she's separated from you she goes through a whole day of shenanigans and problems. Going from Potions, to Oracle, to Illusions, only to end up in the detention track. When Viney introduces her to the other detention track members and shows her how they learn multiple tracks Luz pauses as she watches you learning multiple types of magic and wonders how that's fair.

She then has a falling out with her new friends and doesn't know what to do as she wonders the halls of Hexside searching for answers. You, Amity, and Principal Bump get attacked by a Basilisk before being dragged away and Luz wants to help but doesn't know how. She begs her new friends to help her save you and they all use their mixed magic knowledge to save the school and defeat the Basilisk.

As she's blessed with being able to do the multi track schedule she wants her other friends are also allowed to do multiple tracks. Luz is overjoyed as she picks you up and twirls you around in her new uniform. You leave school to run off to your hidden hideaway to practice your new magic knowledge and compare schedules.

Luz who is now a full time student at Hexside and is in some of Willow and your classes. Working with the Illusion teacher you are pulling out old memories from your brain and printing them on memory paper. Guiding Luze's hand carefully she's amazed as she sees Willows memories become solidified on paper.

After Amity burns Willow's memories to keep her past with her a secret you're left shaking and upset. You grab your palismen and take Amity, Willow, Gus, and Luz to the Owlhouse skipping the rest of the day to help your friend. Amity is guilt ridden at her mistake but is also surprised by Edas home curiously looking around. You beg Eda to do the needed spell to go into Willows mind despite the illegality and risk and with Amity and Luz your prepared to fix the mistake that's been made.

You smile sadly as you see Willow, Amity, and you playing together as children. Luz looks at it confused and you smile at her as you try and hold back tears. Your initial flying in the wind with an A and W on a little white flag. Things had been different back then when you were all younger. Amity never had to stop talking to you as you'd always been a powerful witch but she had to break it off with Willow. When it came down to Willow or Amity you chose Willow.

Leading Luz through Willows mindscape she sees various memories of her best friend. Amity drags behind but is eventually pulled into the nostalgia as she helps fix Willow's mind. She seems happy to be here but there's also a deep sadness you can't help but sense. Luz tries to keep the mood light much to your relief.

Seeing a memory of Gus and Willow conspiring to get you and Luz to go on a date you both blush before looking at your joined hands. Looking away from each other flustered you don't have time to dwell on it as pink fire surrounds you. Running all of you barely escape the memory as it starts to burn.

The inner Willow reveals herself and begins to burn the memories you'd worked hard to fix. You beg her to reconsider and she briefly pauses before gently pushing you away. Sending Luz and Amity into one of her most painful memories you follow hoping to help.

After the fight plays out you feel Luz grab your hand. Your shaking as you stand infront of Amity and Inner Willow looks at you betrayed as she demands why she should forgive Amity. You walk up to her and take her hands which surprises the flaming witch. She calms down enough to let Amity explain what really happened. You give inner Willow a hug apologizing for never noticing her pain and she says it's okay as you all wake up. Before you leave you see Inner Willow with her Inner child both waving happily as you go.

When you wake up outside of her mind you hug Willow for real who hugs you back. Luz joins the hug and you're both glad she's okay. Amity is not forgiven but the mistake is amended and you become closer. You all learned something about each other that day.

The sun is on my side

Luz learns about Grom and although she's super nervous because she wants to ask you she's excited to go. You and Amity end up tying for Grom Royalty which means you'll have to face the monster which turns into what you fear most. Luz decides this is her chance to shine and offers to fight the Grom beast for you.

And takes me for a ride

When faced with her worst fear (her mother forcing her to come home and thinking she's a terrible daughter and being rejected by you) she ends up trying to defeat it only to end up running. Chasing after her on your palismen not letting her fight this alone Luz is terrified as you both fly somewhere remote to fight this thing.

I smile up to the sky

You smile at her and she smiles back as you begin to put all that magic practice to good use. Dancing together she uses glyphs while you use spell circles to defeat the beast. A beautiful tree blooms trapping the Grom Beast and she's reminded of that time you took her through the woods and flowers flew everywhere. She looks at you watching the petals flutter around you both. With the moon in the background and petals floating about, your face is glowing and her heart flutters as she holds your hands.

I know I'll be alright

You and Luz gently bop your heads against each other and laugh before smiling. You had defeated the Grom Beast and faced your worst fears. She hasn't kissed you yet but slowly she's working up the courage.

The sun is on my side

As Luz tries to save Eda from her sister Lilith you go with her deciding that you are no longer interested in the Emperor's Coven. As you and Luz face the Emperor together (you with the portal key and her with the portal) he says your name despite being in your wild witch costume. He holds out his hand offering you one last chance and your eyes widen realizing your dream is crumbling around you. Turning back you see Luz and realize you have a new dream.

Smashing your staff into the ground distracting the Emperor as Luz tosses him the booby trapped door, you and Luz take off for Eda, Lilith, and King. Breaking the Petrification machine the sun sets as Eda, Lilith, King, Luz, and you fly away from the Emperor's Castle. The Petrification having failed.

And takes me for a ride

As you fly on Eda you can't help but let out a laugh. Everyone turns to look at you and your wiping at your eyes smiling. Tilting your head up you scream into the night because despite everything you had survived and Eda was okay even if she was in the Owlbeast form. Luz remembers the first time riding with you on your palismen and throws her arms up to yell too. You had lost but you'd also won.

I smile up to the sky

Jumping off Eda when she lands you turn to see Lilith sliding off her sisters back and putting her face to Edas. You hold out your hand to Luz as the sisters do the Sharing spell. The bright flash of light makes you smile as you look up at the Light glyph in the sky.

I know I'll be alright

You hold out your hand and hold Luz close. Your mask in the fight had been thrown aside and your cape had been torn and yet as you held her hand after what you'd all just been through she could only think about how beautiful you are and how you'll figure it out.

You cup her face and she pauses before your lips meet for your first kiss. It'd be alright...

Hey I was wondering if you could do a platonic King x reader where reader is someone obsessed with demons and they meet King through Luz and they play about The King of Demons and his Mighty Guard or something like that, thankyou.

Walking through the Owlhouse with Luz you look around with wide eyes, taking in the famous Eda the Owl Ladies lair. Luz had met you in your beast keeping tract classes and now you were going to meet the alleged bipedal demon who many of your classmates oggled over since Bosha's post on Hexagram. You were a self proclaimed demon expert and you buzzed with energy at the idea of meeting a new and rare demon as you'd never seen anything like King before. This could be your chance to be noticed!

"Luz you told me he was cute, you never said he was this adorable." You whisper as you stare at King standing infront of a bunch of scattered stuffed animals on the couch. He places one down before pausing to move them elsewhere.

"I know, el es pequenio y lindo." She agrees smiling fondly at the demon. Looking at her not understanding what she means as you didn't know that dialect she waves it off. "I'll introduce you. I know you've been dying to meet him." Luz states smiling. "Hey King!" She calls making the demon weh.

Turning he drops his stuffed animal and rushing forward he hugs her leg, nuzzling against her with happy noises. You inspect his skull with the cracked horn and his body with interest. He was definitely bipedal and not bug but was unlike anything you'd ever seen. Taking notes mentally he shifts to say something to Luz before he pauses when he notices you. Tilting his head he stares at you unsure. Shifting he hides behind Luzes leg as he begins tugging at her pants.

Oh, you didn't mean to scare him.

"Oh King don't worry, (Y/N)' s a friend." King looks unsure and you swallow before glancing around wondering what you can do to earn the little guys trust.

Looking towards his toys you suddenly get an idea and begin digging through your bag. Always having extra on hand for the beasts you worked with you take out a stuffed animal. Getting on your knees in front of him to be smaller you hold out the offering.

"... Umm room for one more?" You question wanting to join in on the fun. You weren't sure what type of beast or demon he was but maybe playing could get you some answers. King who had been hesitant seconds ago was now beaming as he did a happy dance. Letting go of Luzes pants and grabbing the toy he turns before jumping up onto the couch placing it with his other stuffed animals.

"Yes perfect!" He states placing it where the other one was going to go before he changed his mind. "Luz is recruiting more slaves like I asked! You two, you can be my mighty guards! A king of demons needs some of those!" Raising an eye brow at Luz she winks at you before holding out her hand. Taking her offer to get back up you nod understanding to play along. Letting out a little giggle just excited to be here you focus on King as he grabs something from his pile of trinkets. "Kneel!" Watching Luz get in the position you were just in you copy and do what King asks.

He taps your head so you'll look down. Doing so he gently bops your shoulders with a rolling paper tube before he nods. "Stand Knights and be my Royal Guards!" He deamands.

Standing Luz hands you a cardboard sword. As you take it never feeling happier, you stumble forward as the demon jumped onto your shoulders.

"Now guards stand at arms! We march to conquer!" He commands and as Luz begins to march you do the same laughing the whole time as King excitedly bounces on your shoulders.

Dana brings out a binder with pictures of all her characters. She points at Amity.

Dana: This one has a lot of money and would treat you good. You'd be set for life.

(Y/N): Okay go on.

Dana pointing at Willow

Dana: This one would be really really nice to you and they treat their parents really well.

You nod and Dana points to Luz

Dana: This one is totally obsessed with you and in love with you.

Dana: So those are all really good ones.

Dana continues to flip through pictures. There's Eda, Lilith, Hooty, Gus, Mathomule, Edric, Emilia, Bosha, Scarra, Viney, Barktholmew, Bria, Agmar, and some others. She stops at Golden Guard before shaking her head.

( Context: Reader is considered a powerless witch because their magic is very weak compared to their family. Reader also comes from a family similar to Amitys where power is everything. They know Hunter because their family works closely with the Emperor and is apart of the Emperors Coven. They may be the first person in their family to be rejected from the coven simply because their not strong enough for Belos )

Clutching the portal key close you stare at Hunter. Amity was knocked out with her palisman, King was stuck, and Eda was in her Harpy form in the other room. You were alone.

"... (Y/N) give it to me." Hunter states reaching out his hand. Staring at him your grip on the portal key tightens as you nod no slowly backing away. He narrows his eyes and your left feeling trapped and unsure of what to do.

"Hunter Amity was right you don't need to do this. Your value isn't tied to your success. It isn't tied to your powers or your usefulness. If the Emperor cared about you and I mean really cared he wouldn't care if you failed, he'd be proud of you for trying." You yell at him anger bubbling up.

Years of being told your not good enough, years of Hunter and you sharing the same pain, years of feeling inadequate compared to everyone around you. Amity had hung out with you because of your family but she had pushed you down once. She'd told you your magic was worthless but now she was your friend thanks to Luz. And together you both relaized your magic didn't equal your worth, your accomplishments weren't all that mattered. You defined you as a person, not your parents or family or magic. You hope Hunter could learn the same lesson.

"You really believe in that garbage?" He demands as he glares at you. Taking another step back almost cornered against the cave wall you stare at Hunter as he comes closer. His magenta eyes pratically glow and you know he's mad. Mad your betraying his uncle, mad you left, mad you have a point.

You and Hunter used to always agree. Hell you and Amity always used to agree. But than Luz came. And Luz showed you that you were allowed to chose for yourself. You chose to forgive Amity to have her prove to you she was a good guy. Now you wanted Hunter to do the same. If he was your friend he wouldn't do this.

"I don't..." You don't understand what he means. Of course you beleived your value wasn't tied to your powers or your success. After all your learned a lot from the owl lady since becoming her ally. Maybe your parents thought otherwise, maybe the Emperor did but your friends didn't. And neither would Hunter if only he could see the truth.

"You really think they understand you (Y/N)? Understand us? That they have any idea what they're talking about? We're the same (Y/N), we had to struggle to get where we are now. We had to fight to survive, to prove we belong." He snarls.

"It doesn't have to be that way Hunter!" You respond but he cuts you off.

"Amity is a Blight. A powerful witch with powerful friends and an influential family. You really think she knows what its like to be weak? She'll be a Coven Head without even trying. Luz is a human and she can do magic better than us. Eda is a wild witch but her powers are beyond anything the Boiling Isles have ever seen. She's almost as strong as Belos!!! And her sister Lilith don't get me started, she was like the third most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles. The cards are stacked against us just give me the key."

"No Hunter! Your not making any sense, please just calm down we can talk this out."

"We're powerless witches raised by powerful ones. What happens when we can't measure up? When were deamed useless?" He snaps making you pause. "...What happens if our families decide they no longer need us?"

Clutching the portal key tighter hot tears sting your eyes.

"Stop it! Stop talking Hunter!" You demand but he ignores you even as the air grows hot and the plants begin to wither.

"I have an offer for you." Pausing you blink up in shock. Hunter stood a few feet away as you sat on the ground. His palismen lands on your shoulder before rubbing your tear stained cheek and chirping softly. Looking up at Hunter he's infront of you his hand outstretched. Not as a threat or a fist but as a friendly gesture. Your magic is beginning to leak out as your emotions grow. The rocks crack around the both of you as you stare at him but the cave remains stable.

"We've known each other forever (Y/N). We'll never win if we don't work together. But we don't need to be stronger, or better, or more powerful than anyone else. We need to be smarter. And you (Y/N) are one of the smartest witches I know." Blinking as you wipe away your tears Hunter smiles hand still offered. "Keep the portal key. But come with me. Leave the Owlhouse and come home. We can give it to Belos together. You'd get to join the Emperors Coven like you've always wanted and we'd get to stand side by side as partners, as friends." Hunter smiles softly as your heart drops. Your vision blurs as you suddenly see multiple Hunters. Blinking again the illusions dissapear leaving just Hunter.

"You are still my friend right (Y/N)?" He asks as his palismen chirps hopping on my shoulder as if he wants me to take his master's hand. As if the world and my magic is pushing me to take his hand.

"I..." Looking at the key than Hunter you think of the years you were bullied or tormented by more powerful witches. HexSide, Gladius, Early Enrollment for the Emperors Coven. They all ended in diaster. You could never succeed. You were never strong enough. Never good enough. Reaching your hand out slowly Hunter smiles before you both pause.

"(Y/N) don't-" Turning Amity groans as she reaches out her hand. Her entire body sags as she reaches for you and she looks really hurt.

"Amity!" Scrambling up wanting to help her Hunter grabbed your wrist making the earth crack again.

"(Y/N)." Looking back at him he stares at the key than you.

"Hunter please." You beg but he pulls his hand back. It would always be the mission first huh? Never you.

"(Y/N) don't make me take it from you." Closing your eyes unsure of what to do you sigh.

"I'm sorry." Eyes glowing as you open them you very carefully blast Hunter back on a soft pile of plants before running to Amity. The plants immeidtaley wrap around Hunter keeping him trapped. You can hear him yelling as he struggles but you ignore it. Helping Amity up you turn hearing King weh. Grabbing him and pulling him out of the stone you look at Hunter as he struggles against your trap plants.

You may not have been the most powerful witch but Hunter was right about one thing. You were smart and you would always have a backup plan.

"Come on lets go before he gets out." Pulling at Amity as you held King close ready to leave you didn't even notice the key was gone or that Hunter was watching you leave. All that remained of what you once held was the Titans Blood that smeared your hands.

As you closed your eyes not looking back you cling to King and Amity. You'd both won. But at what cost?

(Takes place in Season One. I misread this ask so I apologize :") )

"Hoot hoot you have a visitor!" Eda paused and looked up from what she was doing. She was surprised too see her sister at the Owlhouse. Eda was outside looking for something she'd lost earlier (thanks King) when Hooty informed her that her sister was approaching. As Eda shooed Hooty away the demon frowned whining before going off to bother someone else.

Staring at the woods hands glowing as she looked for intruders Eda tilted her head. Lilith was alone which was something very unusual for her. She almost always brought backup, the emperor's guards never got past her defenses but Lilith always tried. Leaning against her staff waiting for her sister to get closer Eda could see she had that look in her silver eyes. Something was up, something serious. She wouldn't be here otherwise.

"... Lilith." Eda greets before going back to her searching. Whatever Lily had to say she could say while Eda continued her task.

"Edalynn I have something to discuss with you." Eda simply hums continuing to look for the thing she lost. She can't even really remember what it was she was looking for but its probabaly something important if she came out here to find in the first place. All she knew was it was somehwere in the bushes, she was almost sure of it. And she'd know it when she saw it.

"We need to discuss (Y/N)." Eda stops her rummaging and stiffens before she turns slowly. This wasn't the first time Lilith and her had this conversation and it probably wouldn't be the last either. Eda doesn't respond and goes back to searching, her usual smirk was now a tight frown. Lilith always had to do this...

"Edalynn what can you give them?" Lilith deamnds trying to get her younger sisters attention. "We've been skirting around this subject for weeks but its time we act like adults. (Y/N)-" Eda signs before getting up and dusting herself off. Turning towards her sister slamming the butt of her staff into the ground so Lilith would stop ranting and focus on her she signs. Owlbert hoots and hops off the staff going on her shoulder and Eda smiles scratching the talisman as it nuzzles her.

"I can give them just as much as you can Lulu." Eda responds matter of factly before she turns to look out at the woods. Eda, Lilith, and you used to run through those woods, you used to have fun together, you used to all be so close. That felt like a lifetime ago now. Owlbert chirps and Eda hums softly before turning to glance at her sister. "We both know they wouldn't want the life you want for them anyways. Whatever grand idea you have for them isn't them. Besides I'm not worried." The witch states with confidence. You were somewhere inbetween Lilith and Eda, you didn't activaley break the law like Eda but if something was wrong and the laws prevented you from helping you didn't follow them to the letter like Lilith did. You always tried to do what was right even if you got hurt or demonized in the process. You were a good person like that.

"Edalynn." Eda holds up a hand to her sister before she begins walking towards her.

"(Y/N)'s always made the right decisions. There's a reason their still at school internshipping under Principal No Fun. They don't want to be in a coven. They dont want to follow the rules. It's why we get along so well." Eda smiles as she says that, shaking her head as she remembers multiple adventures you've both had. That you'd all had once.

You may not be as wild as her but you had your moments and you had a fire in you. It was one of the reasons Eda liked you so much. You were yourself and she wouldn't let her sister ruin that. You weren't one of Beloses puppets, you weren't just some powerful witch, you were her friend. More so you were family.

"Edalynn! This is serious! If their associated with you they'll become the Emperor's next victim! Don't you understand? You can't protect them! Only I can and only if they side with ME! They'll be safe under my protection but with you-" Lilith huffs as her sister interrupts her not intrested in her sisters long lecture.

"Have you even asked what they want or did you just decide what they wanted like you always do?" Lilith pauses as she stares at her sister. The witch was looking at her nails unintrested in this conversation as she waited for her sister to answer.

"I know what they need." Lilith responds angrily. Eda chuckles at that before staring at Lilith, bright golden eyes meeting clever silver ones.

"But what about what they want?" Lilith stutters and her sister hums in response. "I thought so." Lilith was smart, she was dedicated, she was skilled. But she wasn't good with emotions and she was terrible with reading people. She always made decisions for others thinking she knew best, without really thinking of how her decisions may truly effect them. Lilith was a control freak something that had driven the sisters apart over the years. Eda was proud of her sister, proud she was powerful, proud she had made a name for herself, and proud she was happy. However, she wouldn't let her sister dictate your life. Your decisions werw your own.

"(Y/N) needs me." Lilith finally responds and in a rare moment of loosing composure she begins shaking. Eda turns away feeling her sisters blue fire begin to catch on the grass.

"No you need (Y/N). There's a difference."

The audible hiss of fire going out and the tension in the air made Eda pause. That may have been too far.

"Edalynn." Eda stops as she sees blue shadows against her house and smelled smoke. Lilith was pissed. "When they come running to me for protection because everyone on the island is after them because their on a wanted poster. When they loose their job with Principle Bump and all their friends for being a convicted criminal. When they are at my feet crying I'll make sure to remember you said that." There was a caw sound and suddenly Eda was alone hands grasping around the object she'd been looking for.

It was a golden friendship bracelet, one you, Eda, and Lilith had saved up for and bought together when you were kids. Holding it close Eda chuckles closing her eyes as she clutches the precious metal bird. You were the only one that still had yours. Eda lost hers long ago and Liliths was destroyed.

King had found your braclet on the sink after you left the bathroom and had tried to bury it because it was shiny. Eda was looking for Kings outside hoarde pile and hopefully your lost bracelet but than she'd gotten distracted by Luz, and than Hooty, and finally her sister just now. She almost forgot what she was looking for but she remembered when she saw it.

Smiling and taking a deep breath as she holds it over her heart she looks at where Lilith had been. The scorched grass the only sign her sister had visited.

What Lilith said... what she threatened... Eda would never happen to you. She was good enough for you. She was more than enough just like Lilith was more than enough if you picked her instead.

"Game on Lilith. Game on." She mumbles realizing both sisters had fallen for the same witch.
