Currently watching: a lot of Arte documentaries on yt. I started a docu series on the fall of the last chinese dynasty and what happened after

Last movie: auuughhh why dont i remember. Probably Pride & Prejudice tbh but it was like 3weeks ago

Currently reading: actively reading Scattered All Over the Earth by Yoko Tawada, been also reading bits & pieces of Il Barone Rampate by Italo Calvino (in french), and The Body Keeps the Score

Sweet Spicy or Savory: Like a dish is immediately 100000% better if its a mix of sweet and savory with a bit of a kick. add honey in soy sauce + chili flakes voilà

Relationship Status: aughhhhhh single but also talking actively to the person with which things could have been more. but I dont want it to be more and I am a mess.

Current obsessions: drunken egg korean recipe my friend showed me this weekend yummmm. Ive been getting better at swimming front crawl at the pool and practicing that. also reading a lot about palestine and laying in bed doing nothing bc i shut down a lot👍

Last thing I googled: documenting war crimes Ukraine 👍thats for work

Currently working on: this week I am teaching online workshops about trauma for psych students!! Other than that just developing new website for the ngo im interning at. I also been playing a bit more guitar and would like to write a song for the next jam session w my friend!!

currently reading - this is a bit of a mess because i'm always reading more than one book at once lol. killers of the flower moon by david grann, berlin alexanderplatz by alfred doblin, queer palestine and the empire of critique by sa'ed atshan, the twelve kingdoms by fuyumi ono, the shadow of the torturer by gene wolfe and y/n by esther yi.

currently watching - nothing new, lol. going through a rough patch where im unable to watch any series other than sitcoms or rewatch old favs so i'm rewatching friends, haibane ranmei, and cowboy bebop.

current obsession(s) - i'm battling a long winded hyperfixation on a few shows (made for love, hotd, and the terror) lmfao please pray for me. aside from those, none of my obsessions / hyper fixations are new or foreign to me; i'm always obsessed with one or the other at any given time so u can consider this a 'get to know me' bit. shakespeare, fairy/folk tales including retellings. princesses and girl kings, arthurian / mordred-esque narratives, romantic gothic / bodice rippers... a new type of narrative i've been recently intrigued by is the non-linear style of storytelling in genre fiction. don't ask, i haven't deduced anything yet. i am just fascinated by that particular style and what compels author to pursue writing within it. sff history is another one too. i love history a lot and i think that translates to my taste in fictional narratives lmao
