“You don’t have to care about what others are doing or what they’re worrying about” once again, otona cure continues to hit a little too close to home lol.

Just love how grown up everything feels in this show. Plot is slow so far, but just seeing the girls go through relatable issues is so nice. Mai’s in particular I feel on a spiritual level. Sometimes you’re just in different stages of life than other people. Everyone has their own clock and there’s no use comparing yourself to others. The biggest challenge of adulthood is just becoming ok with the uncertainty.

Ngl though, breaking up over text after damn near being to the point of marriage is kinda wild from the dude. They didn’t specify what issues they were having, but you’d think a face to face meeting at least.

Cool to see some more returning faces from the original show too!

I have Opinions on the new Otonapre ep but I’ll wait until the series is over to judge it because (spoiler talk under cut)

I’m going to hold out hope that they’ll transform as adults in the final ep… it’s not even that I want new designs/transformation sequences (although I do really want those lol) I just think it sends a bad message that they can only transform by de-aging c’:

That aside though the fight scene in episode 2 was SO good and the Yes!5 ost made me so emotional 😭 Cure Dream made me interested in watching Precure in the first place so I’m so happy having her back aaaa

Also I think Kurumi should get to kill her boss as a treat.

Also also seeing everyone miserable was upsetting but seeing Urara cry made ME cry…

Another really good episode! I see so many people complaining about Otonapre, sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who actually likes this show lol

Coco showing up and renting the apartment right next to Nozomi was hilarious “why are you here?” “Um I live here” 😂 if their relationship don’t take a turn after this it never will.

Uraka and Syrup were great too. She was always so cheery and energetic, so seeing her so jaded and down was rough, but I think she’s on the right path now after this episode and will be back to her usual self thanks to Syrup.
