That's the narrative you'll been pushing, that tkkrs are Tae "leaning" and Jikookers are what? JM "leaning"?

No wonder in this whole shippers drama only JM and Tae get dragged and JK is always safe.

If you don't know several Jikookers and Taekookers have turned into Jk solos during chapter 2, then you must be living in your own shipper bubble or you're purposely pretending it didn't happen.

Not you running around yelling every one is turning into a Jungkook solo this is not the matrix😹😹😹😹

If you go into Jikook and Tae Kook shipper spaces to disrespect Jungkook and they massacre you it don't mean they are all JK solos.

I think it's about damn time both shippers stood behind Jungkook to defend him against your kind.

For the longest time yall were used to jikookers pandering to yall "throwing Jungkook under the bus" just for your likes and follows but honey not all of us care about likes and followers and what not so we will say things as is😹

I had a best friend who was a JK leaning Jkkers and she was constantly calling out JK while victimizing Jimin and glossing over his "sins" as it were, she had me feeling i constantly had to defend Jungkook as if I was the JK stan not her.

On the Tuktukker side all I know is most of them hate Jungkook because he doesn't follow their scripts and right now he's on the Tuktukkers wanted list for being in MS with Jimin and not Tae.

And frankly they hate Tae too so I don't know what their ship is about anymore 💀

So I guess I'm still a little bit confused 😩

Then again I'm not.

I started out as a JM biased stan but the more toxic stans have me defending Jungkook the more emotionally drawn I am to him. I don't think he deserves any of the heat he gets out here.

So I guess it's cause and effect. Yall are turning us into hardcore JK stans😹😹😹😹😹😹

But I don't think I'll ever be his pure solo like exclsusively either. I like Jin I like Namjoon I like Suga too sooooooooo cheating it is😩

But I do see myself supporting Jungkook for the long haul whether he is part of BTS or not. I may not be as enmeshed or overly obsessed with him and his life as I may be JM but I do think he has a promising future ahead and i genuinely wish him well.

Besides Jungkook IS THE MAKNAE. he is and will always be the Golden Maknae. I don't think you understand what that means or comprehend just how much clout and likeability that naturally comes with.

Jungkook has always been liked by the Fandom. Next to Tae, as you saw before he deleted his account he was the 2nd most followed BTS member and I have a feeling he would have surpassed V following his release of Golden had he not deleted the account.

So honestly I think you exaggerate and perhaps are just being dramatic and overly paranoid about the Fandom turning into Jungkook solos when we've always been a sucker for the Maknae.

It's a kpop thing. I think you're just now experiencing what being a Maknae means for an idol.

And another thing about Jungkook is, majority of his fans are not shippers at all. Most of them are "OT7"s at best or Y/ns and solos at worst and those that ship him ship tend to ship him more often with Tae than Jimin.

Actually I think majority of his shipper fans are split between shipping him with Tae, Jin and Namjoon rather than Jimin.

Most of his fans are straight and often times homophobic and those that a queer tend to gravitate towards other men who look like him when it comes to shipping him aka Tae Jin Namjoon rather than Jimin because of the stigma against fem gay men in the gay community.

So to me the unsettling question is when you say half the shipper community are now JK solos, does it mean most of them are now straight and homophobic - solo in what sense 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

Rambling in INFJese - Part 9: Dear Future Baby Jikooker and Some Jikookers as well…

[Music is a very big part of my life and I’m MOSTLY INCAPABLE of writing without music, so I just thought I'd share what I am listening to while writing this]

Dear Future Baby Jikooker,

Here is a letter from me to you, who have just stepped into this curious neck of the woods, but also for Jikookers, who presently might feel lost, in this neck of the woods. This is going to be a long-ass post, ops 😬. In my defence, it could have been even much longer than it is, but let’s be real, there is only so much you might be willing to read at this stage and, at the same time, only so much I can write before I stray well out of topic. BUT let’s start with a welcome, shall we? A very big welcome to those of you who have decided, for one reason or another and we will touch on that to be “Jikookers”. Welcome and congratulations: you’ve officially picked the most fear-inducing, hate-provoking, blasted-ass ship, perhaps, in history but that is just my perception, admittedly, Cleopatra and Mark Anthony might have been good contenders, by the fandom they belong to and most of all shippers within the fandom as well.

SO YES, welcome welcome welcome to the Tumblr side of Jikook things! Now, before we dive deeper into what awaits in my post, and most importantly, into Jikook-world, it’s best we get one thing straight, right off the bat:

Mmm … you might have already known this, in fact you are probably looking at me like “You ain’t gotta tell me that, bitch, like …” but truuuust me when I tell you that this is not as obvious or as known a fact as it ought to be … chiiiiiile 😩.

That being said, there are usually two main starting points for people who end up here, and by here, I don’t mean specifically Jikook-Tumblr, but Jikook-world in general:

You have been ARMY / BTS fans / JK and/or JM bias for a while and are thus familiar with all members in BTS at a level that is above avarage.

You have no clue about anything-BTS, but you heard that there is this “couple” in BTS, so the name of the other members is probably as much as you might know.

As you are ultimately here because of a possible romantic relationship between JK and JM, whether you are 1 or 2 doesn’t make you any better or worse than being 2 or 1. What it does however, is that it will 100% influence and condition the experience you might/will have. That, in addition with the answer to the following question which I highly suggest you ask yourself before you fully step in:

“Why am I here?”

… Perhaps “I believe Jikook is 100% real”, or “I wonder: is Jikook even real right now?”, or “I have reason to believe that Jikook might be, but actually …”, or “I’m not saying but I’m saying, Jikook?!”, or “IDGAF I just think they look good together”, etc etc etc. Trust me, there is a Jikook blog that aligns with any and all conscious and subconscious states of mind, beliefs and/or opinions. So as you proceed, you will or might not realise that some blogs simply want to find people who are like-minded, some blogs just want to rave, rant and talk about the boys to their heart's content, some blogs want to build a following/clout, and some blogs might be up to no good amongst these, some might not even realise that they are….

I, for one, got into the Jikook-world coming from type 1. BTS found me when I needed them the most and I just ended up loving all 7 of them, in different ways, but all 7 nonetheless AND as you might or might not know, I am indeed OT7. One day, as it happens to all of us, I stumbled on a shipping video on YT, it was a Taejin one: I clicked. To begin I was initially shocked that BTS would still have ships at the point in their career (this was around 2021) and I actually thought Taejin to be real … and then you see SOPE, Namjin, taekook, there were so many and all had their reasons etc. After a while I just found them all very cute and didn’t take them seriously at all.

Eventually, somehow, a Jikook video by Made in Busan appeared, I watched it and that was it: … I felt something. But even though I did feel something, I tried to ignore it because as a queer person pansexual I mostly walk around with my invisible hope on my sleeves ALL THE TIMES. So it felt that, once again, for the one millionth time, I would end up wanting them to be so real that the disappointment would crush me, making me feel that once again, people like me are undeserving of love, or at the very least, African and Asian countries are never going to accept this. At this very moment a great part of the USA, and certain parts of Europe, are the only places where famous people and not can live being who they are.

In many other places in this world, particularly African and Asian countries, it is still taboo, dangerous and even life threatening and I am in-between these two types of worlds. So I rejoice everytime a queer couple publically comes out, because even though I know I cannot be them the maximum I can do is go to pride in my pink, yellow and blue outfit it makes me happy to know that had I been born in a different continent, within a different culture, that perhaps, it could have been me. Basically, it feels that happiness for people like me is attainable, even if not for me, if others can safely make it, it would be enough for me for now.

I started from YT and WHAT A MESS IT TURNED OUT TO BE. I made the very big mistake of thinking that because jikook was so rare in the fandom, then people who believed in them were just like me trying to understand kindred spirits. I thought that we were in this to protect and potentially, if time ever would allow, to support what would have become a very influential gay couple. But as time passed, before I knew it, I found myself within the episode of the most toxic BL where, everyone heard voices, many betrayed each other for affection, all slept with each other to spite all, and some resorted to using fans in order to bully each other. The more accounts with this mentality started to appear, the more normal accounts started to disappear. It got to a point were I, a person whom in the meantime had forgotten was a OT7, started to believe that some members were indeed narcissist and any other non-self diagnosable trait. WHEN I REALISED I had to take a BIG-ASS breath, slap myself out of fiction and get-out-style-ran myself back into reality: LIKE … WHAT THE FUCK HAD JUST HAPPENED?!

I had completely forgotten about who BTS were, I got entirely lost in the wrong side of the woods for me, basically I completely forgot why I was even there in the first place! When I then myself in the only youtube channel I trusted at the time, who also suggested we should check a certain blog on Tumblr, when I did, I found a kindred spirit and never went back to YT (by that time wonsummernight had left, Made in Busan, like MizGator, were all gone). There was no forced narrative, the logical consideration of events, the unexplainable emotion of others, it was up the alley I had wanted to be. It brought it back to me just supporting real maybe-queer people like me, rather than fighting over fictional characters in a drama that had nothing to do with me at all.

I regained my rationality, and peacefully lurked, until I got curious about certain topics and decided to send in asks, or just wanted to send words of encouragement to other blogs I began to like and were constantly attacked. Eventually I realised my side of the woods was also thinning out, and because I felt like I had a lot to say as well I began this blog, to just talk, talk and talk. It was fun talking, revisiting Jikook moments with other people who thought alike or people who respectfully didn’t and still kept it at a healthy level. Speaking with other queer folk was also a perk. I literally had no expectations upon coming on Tumblr, I just wanted to keep up with Jikook, while keeping my sanity and rationality. Writing my thoughts about them also helped me lay out my opinions and, through educated speculation, maybe realise things about Jikook hadn’t before and so on and so forth. As things stand in this very moment, within my boundaries, I still believe there is something between them. Chapter 2 is what, surprising, turning out to be as I predicted it would be, to a T except for JK’s weverse, that I couldn’t predict not a single one, for shit it is all very interesting to be honest, and though I can know see things will only get harder from here on, it is okay.

Even though this place feels like it is about to become another, YT, twitter, etc. It is okay. I never had any expectations to begin with, but the fact that I know where I stand in my Jikook neck of the woods, makes my anger towards some bullshit very well directed towards said bullshit, and never towards jikook, BTS or any unrelated parties. I like that when I log off my life goes on. I love that even though I have times when I miss them a lot, it is just that and I am not going crazy over it. In the same way I love that there is a chance that within this global powerhouse of a band there might be somebody that loves like me. In the queer way I, and many others, do.

So my dear future Baby Jikooker, find out why you are here. Understand what it is you want. If it is being in delulu-land that is perfectly fine I also go there from time to time, I find it fun, and when things actually happen right from delulu-land it makes it even more fun! Just gotta trade carefully, that's all. If you wanna find friends, if you wanna talk, whatever it is, just be aware of your decisions, and possible consequences, and you will not be disappointed, hurt or disillusioned, in the long run. If you don’t like all the other members, at the very lease please respect them, because Jikook surely do love them.

If you find that this environment is becoming too much for you, protect yourself the best way you can, leave if you need to, you have the right to do so. As you keep exploring make sure to find the blog that is right for you, and if you feel like it is what you want, write your own. If something feels too good to be true, check sources, always, original content is always available. If you are okay for them to be too good to be true, then do you, it is your experience, just be mindful not to ruin it for others and I hope nobody ruins it for you.

So once again, WELCOME TO JIKOOK-WORLD. I hope you don’t get too lost and you find what you were looking for. I hope you come out of it alive, if at some point you decide to run away. And if you survive all the bullshit that might take place between now and their military service (MS), if you are still around, and Jikook just so happen to be who we think they might be; then I’ll see you on the other side, or if you want come holla.

I am a pjm and I haven’t had time to go through your blog so I don’t know if you’re an anti- jm but I might do that later. That being said I don’t believe any bts ship is real but this taennie issue got me curious because I want to see how both sides of shippers are reacting to it. I don’t know if you are going to be honest but I need answers from a tkkr. I want to make sense of the whole thing involving my bias. How did jm get entangled in taekook?

Did you also believe he had something to do with them not interacting on camera?

How did he become the villain in your story?

In light of everything that has been going on, if it turns out that taennie is real, where does that leave jm? Especially with the way he has been treated all these years😫😫

Hi 👋 First and foremost, I am not a Jimin anti or hater. Let me make that very clear. There will be no hating on any of the members allowed around here. My bio has ot7 because I love all of them. I especially love how Jimin is such a warm, caring person, always looking after the other members. He's such a beautiful person, inside and out 🥺

●"How did jm get entangled in taekook?" - I'm not quite sure what you mean by this so I can't really answer. I will say, the two biggest ships in bts both include Jungkook, and sometimes there can be a rivalry between the shippers among the more immature fans. Or some fans may feel threatened by Jungkook interacting with the member from the other popular ship. I don't partake in or condone this behaviour.

in my mf bed lmaooooo or on my couch. i'll write basically laying down with my laptop on my stomach bc anything else makes my back hurt because i'm NEARLY 30 👹

22. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

this can happen anywhere along the line. sometimes i'll steal the title from a song, either one that inspired the fic ("party on you" comes from charli xcx's party 4 u, "heartless" comes from the kanye west song) or didn't but the specific song line feels correct ("the shape of your body" comes from taylor swift's cruel summer, which.... does not fit the plot at all but i thought it worked well for the themes of bodies/art). sometimes the title comes first and i build the fic around that theme ("babygirl"). sometimes i finish a whole fic and i'm like what the fuck do i call this and i pick something that feels obvious and fits with the story ("park and ride", "two in one").

26. What’s your least favorite part of the writing process?

the first draft 💀 i LOVE outlining, and i LOVE polishing/detail editing stuff once i have a first pass written, but getting that first pass out.... it's like pulling fucking teeth. every time. like do i even like writing 🤣

Rambling in INFJese - Part 1: Shipping & all Its Shades

OBVIOUSLY; what is about to follow is purely my own opinion.

When was I supposed to post this? Like a month and a half ago .. oops 😂 sorry🙏. The me in my 20s (I’m presently in my 30s) would have panicked. If I’d said that I was going to post something, I would set a day and come what may, it would be posted by then. It would have been posted through the pressure, the exhaustion and Life (coz Life is a big ass category of its own), no matter what, I would delivered. My life has taken interesting turns ever since and I’ve learned that Time, is a very valuable thing. Alongside physical and mental health. So, in relation to myself, the first thing I've stopped doing is forcing myself to do anything that doesn’t affect any of those 3 variables (Time, Body, Mind).

BUT I DIGRESS ... 😬 ... AND finally here we are! I was going to start this in a different way, a much more carefree way, but funny how many things can happen in a month and a half. Thing that can give you a newer perspective on life … matter of fact, funny how a single evening can do the same … So thanks to the very complicated relationship that I have with a particular member of my family, I’m realising how important it is that I write this post well and in the simplest way possible, because for some people things are not only very hard to understand, but just impossible. So the best I can do is to try and cover all aspects of things in the best way I can, in such a way that nobody feels left in the dark. Oh and, it is absolutely important that unless requested, we never try to change anybody, change is truly something that comes from within (... Time and experience tends to teach this as well).

Moving on ... Though I do intend to talk about every BTS member if need be (as I am OT7 and I do love all of them, in very different ways, but I do), this right here, is a blog mainly about all the aspect of the relationship between Park Jimin (JM) and Jeon Jungkook(JK) aka Jikook, JKK. Thus, I think it is important to understand the environment within which these random discussions, educated speculations and various opinions are going to be taking place.

The environment name is: SHIPPING … aah this word 😩 … appeasing to some, triggering to other and some other really DGAF (... NGL, I’m on the triggering side 😬 …). Still, regardless of the effect of the word, it doesn’t change the fact that this is the environment, so let’s take a closer look at it.

Shall we start with a simple definition? .. oh and if you think I can’t become any nerdier, you are HEAVILY mistaken 🤓:

That being the definition, if you say you are a Shipper, you must be aware that if some people come at you, they will be coming at you following definitions such as this one. “Oh but I ship them as friends...”, that, I am afraid, is just a plain good ‘ol friendship, meaning you just really like their friendship, which has nothing to do with shipping.

Let’s keep moving forward, based on this definition and on my personal experience I’ve observed that there are at least 3 levels of shipping:

LEVEL 1: Shipping fictional characters.

LEVEL 2: Shipping real people, who have made known their present romantic situation. Be it with the person they are being shipped with or someone else.

LEVEL 3: Shipping real people, who haven’t, for example, stated their present romantic situation, including personal preferences, hence, making their situation not certain and by fact unknown.

When it comes to Jikook, as of now, 6 June 2022, we are very much at LEVEL 3, but, let’s keep going even deeper.

BY THE WAY - the following Environment Spectrum is based on Jikook’s shipping environment. So when I mention Anti-shippers, I don’t mean ALL Anti-shippers but specifically Jikook Anti-shippers. Because even the tiniest difference in factors can heavily change ANY environment, no matter how similar they might seem:

EXTREME 1: DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO BLACK (if not black)

TOXIC SHIPPERS: They come across as Jikook’s best friends, relatives, sasaeng and colleagues all at the same time. They claim a lot of things as facts, and not in a joking matter. They have no qualms in spreading ANY information quickly and without checking original content or its source. Double-checking sources is not an option for this particular lot and logic is usually not welcome. They are the ones that when they say jikook married, they really mean it. Trying to have a conversation with this group is mostly futile, they are very well settled in their delusion and they are usually so loud and confident that Baby Armies are the first to be attracted. At the same time, they are also the type who are capable of making one hell of a 180 and completely hate those they claimed they loved in the first place if it turned out that nothing was real. For example, if Jikook turned out to be just good friends, they’d be capable of not only hate them but the whole of BTS. On a whole, they get a bit too invested in the whole relationship/ship to the point where it starts to affect their emotional and mental health in heavy ways. And I’m not talking about feeling sad about maybe not having been right about the couple, more like on the level of threatening their own safety or/and the one of others.

INSECURE SHIPPERS: These are not those that are constantly struggling in the midst of their speculations. No. These are those who don’t make any kind of speculations or any kind of research. It’s almost as if they are scared to do any kind of research and would rather trust in anything that is being told to them. They are constantly allowing themselves to be dragged between mainly; toxic shippers of their own ship and the counterpart toxic shippers. And when I say constantly I mean EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. In their perception Jikook are constantly together and constantly breaking up. Kinda like a Schrödinger’s cat state? It doesn’t happen as frequent as with the toxic shipper, but they may also end up having emotional health issues in the long run.

EXTREME 2: WAY TOO CLOSE TO WHITE (if not white)

ANTI-SHIPPERS: Though there are few individuals within this group that genuinely believe this to be a breach of the boys personal life (which isn’t negative) they mostly tend to join the majority which are those who are actively against shipping for all the most subjective reasons. They seem to loathe the idea that anyone could possibly think of the members dating each other. The homophobia is strong within most individuals in this group as well. They see shipping as a high offense, and for the most part they try to equate what shippers do, again, when referring to BTS, to incest, because they mostly push the idea of BTS being a sorta-kinda-blood-related-family. Many will also say that ALL members themselves have expressed their wish to not be shipped, which to this day, is not quite accurate as (do please correct me if I’m wrong):

Members have on different occasion pointed out that they don’t want to be shipped with other female idols

Taehyung directly addressed a post made about a ship with himself and Jungkook.

SOLO STANS: A solo stan is mainly a supporter of only one member in a band. In the JKK environment, usually the main solos are JK stans, JM stans and Kim Taehyung (Tae, V, TH) stans. This particular group will resort to ANY means to support their favourite. One moment they could be the best friends of shippers, the next they could be an anti-shipper most valuable supporter. They may support another member one day and through them under the bus another. Very few tend to be logical in their argument, they’ll also have valid points that they are able to express in an educated manner. However, most are very irrational and impulsive and, once again, their only objective is to support their favourite. I repeat: their only objective is to support their favourite 📢.

SOMEWHAT GRAY ...

TRADITIONAL SHIPPERS: Shippers of Jungkook and Jimin (Jikook, JKK) are called Jikookers. Jikookers are interesting creatures. They are the ones that collect moments / interactions between JKK, with which they create a narrative for a fantasy possible romantic relationship, but mostly don’t really think that they are together. So for example, some are okay with a same sex gender couple within the context of fan service, but fully believe that said pairing aren’t an actual couple. Thus, the homophobia can also be real within some of this group but I will say that Jikookers seem to be more pertaining to the Modern Shipper kind.

MODERN SHIPPERS: These group of shippers do believe JKK to be an actual couple. Keeping in mind that we are at level 3, thus we don’t really know JKK’s status, many quite freely use words such as boyfriends, married, etc., which is mostly not used seriously. Modern Jikookers many a time jump the gun with assumptions and dance a bit too close to the Delulu line BUT for the most part they are positive, energetic and just really in love with JKK’s bond and mostly just in for the ride. How convenient to me that the Tin-Hat is tin … so silver.. so gray …😬 anyways …

??? ... : Mmm now many may call this the supporter group, but lately I wonder about the use of this term. So … I’m not quite sure what to call this spectrum. This group has reason to believe that JKK are a real couple, based on many checked factors, meaning it is not solely about the moments/interactions. Usually the following are taken into consideration:

- Habit patterns

- Spoken words

- Surroundings

- Selective moments/interactions

- Behavioural development

- Environment

- etc.

This is the spectrum I fully feel I belong to as it uses a good amount of gut, but mainly logic in its basic and entirety.

I LOVE structured things and looking back at things. I like having things laid out clearly as misunderstandings are my pet-peeves. Added to the simple fact that I feel like this post was needed. Lately, it feels like too much is taken too seriously for the wrong reasons or too lightly in the right context, so much so that the basics are lost. Basics, foundations, roots, whatever you wanna call them are fundamental.

so I was shocked seeing some pjms shipping jm with taemin(shinee) and some are not popping out veins over that,,but I made a mistake of commenting on that tweet saying that jikook could be real..let me tell you the hate I received from solo pjms 😭have never been attacked online like that,,the insults and the cursing that were flooding on that innocent tweet made me almost deactivate I had to go on private and deleted my comment...Now what shocked me is that they didn't attack that pjm shipping jm with taemin but only me who mentioned jikook as a pair,why are they so riled up with jikook but okay with people shipping jm with other idols?..Are they scared bcs they know there's a chance jikook could be real or are they just gatekeeping jm.?😭
