roman emona

some of the highlights of first week include

visiting an Early Christian Centre in the Emona archaeological park: the mosaics were especially beautiful (you can read more about it here, watch a video here and see some photos on this blog in slovene)

our Roman Archaeology professor also took us on a tour of the city along the border of the ancient Roman Wall in Emona: it was very interesting learning about the almost perfect rectangle shape of the city and seeing the remains of the original wall in some places! (you can see the layout on the photo below)

i was definitely looking forward to seeing more archaeological parks and sites but with the current covid situation in slovenia and all our classes being online until further notice it’s not looking good lmao

Tampon de ville, tampon encré de quartier. Idéal pour ne pas être trop précis et de mettre en avant des effets nets qui se distingue de l’effet tampon encreur.
