Hello again, Tumblr mutuals, I have taken the plunge into Age of Sigmar and I gotta say: I love how wacky this setting can be. Anyway, I picked up a box of Orruk Ardboyz, and painted them up all nice! C&C are appreciated as always.
Lore under the cut. If you care.
Skargrog and his boyz were following in the trail of Gordrakk's destruction. But as they were crossing the lands of Ghur, they stumbled across a more esoteric realmgate in a bog, and as they were sucked into the murky waters and mud of the bog, they soon found themselves washed up on the beaches of Shyish. In an unfamiliar land and away from their WAAAGH, Skargrog and his boyz have had to carve out a living in the land of the Dead, raiding small villages and graveyards. Fighting off their enemies with skirmish and cunning tactics, Skargrog and his boyz eek out what they can in order to survive and hopefully find a way back to Ghur.
Not much lore, but it's a nice start. Here's hoping I can find a group that plays Warcry where I live TwT
Ive been super busy recently so I hadn't had the time to post. So I guess Ill chop through the things I worked on in chunks.
Finished up Anvilsmasha. Super proud of how he came out. I need to figure out what happened to all my gamer grass because all of my bases need some color on them as you will see.
Here's the rest of my orktober. More goblin than ork, but its still greenskin. I got me some stabbas as well as the braggits bottle smash regiment of renown as well as the grikks kruleshots regiment of renown. You might be able to see the loonboss and gobbapalooza models that still need paint. Plenty more greenskinz to paint, but with orktober drawing to a close my attention moved to other more orderly things.
I have a big wagh Orruk army for Aos. Majority of the army is savage boyz and I run them as icebone clan. Since the lore for them is that they use wagh energy enfused ice for weapons. I though it be cool to through them on to some of the hard boy models I have to make them a bit more unified. As well as just have another cool color go along with the purple and yellow contrast.
I finished the #StabGrot I got at some point. It's an #AgeOfSigmar model and an aide to some #KruelBoy leader ... wasn't expecting to get through it in the one sitting, or, to be so happy with it 😍
Finally getting back into painting and working on the hobby side of Warhammer. Just doing a fun shelf piece of an Orrus Megaboss.
Going to keep the piece that are orange mostly as they are and then paint the armor piece underneath a bare metal color. Then detail further from there. Excited by how the orange pops already.
