I saw the post asking for Radford and John requests so I bring this:
When Hope goes missing (because I am in the belief that she is), Radford gets into an argument with John over it, blaming him for it
OR, kinda opposite of the idea above, where Radford was watching Hope when she went missing, so John blames him for it
Or, more wholesome, just Radford and John hanging out and smoking (Mostly cause I headcanon that Radford smokes when he's stressed, a habit he picked up from John)
(Sorry if this is much, they just started bouncing around in my head lol)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Counter offer: they both blame themselves constantly
John left Hope with Radford when he was on duty, Radford let Hope go trick or treating with Robert and his group while he had a horror movie marathon (the "safety in numbers" thought)
Radford doesn't blame John because he working, and entrusted Hope's safety to him
John doesn't blame Radford because he's still young, and it's not like she was completely alone— (in this town it seems like letting your kids trick or treat by themselves is common even if they're young which is WILD to me, but then again I'm from the ghetto)
They're both just miserable together
ALSO
Tumblr media
THEM SMOKING TOGETHER IS SO BIG BRAIINNEEED OUGH!!!!

The deaths of two women found at a house in Nottingham are not being treated as suspicious, police have said.
Officers were called at 11.04am on Tuesday following concerns for the welfare of residents at the home in Hartley Road, Radford.
Police said they believed the bodies “had lain undiscovered for some time”.
Neighbours said that they believed a woman in her 40s and her teenage daughter, thought to have special needs, lived at the property.
Jamil Ellahi, 56, a local barber shop owner, said he had last seen them about a month ago.
He said: “I didn’t really know them but the mum used to come over and buy things every now and again… The police have been to the property before, but I haven’t heard or seen anything recently.”
Mr Ellahi, whose shop Yess Jam is diagonally opposite the house where the bodies were found, on a busy road in the Nottingham suburb, said the pair were “inseparable”.
He said: “I last saw them three or four weeks ago when they came in and we had a normal bit of banter.
“It was not unusual for me not to see them for a while but someone, somewhere must have missed them. But no one at first raised the alarm.
“It is both shocking and heartbreaking that you can pass away and no one misses you. How can that happen? I am shocked and saddened.”
‘They were very nice people’
He added: “They were both very nice people. There was no dad or partner around that I was aware of.
“The girl had severe special needs and her mum, I believe, found caring and looking after her daughter very challenging.”
He said another resident, nicknamed “Cowboy” had previously died and his body lay undiscovered for weeks.
Another neighbour, who did not wish to be named, said the two women kept to themselves and he had knocked on their door last Friday but got no response.
He added: “They were struggling financially I think. You could see that. I went there to see if they wanted any discounted food from Tesco.”
‘No immediate risk to public’
A private ambulance from AM Buckingham, a funeral service company, was present at the scene on Tuesday evening, when the two bodies were removed.
On Wednesday,  the front of the house remained cordoned off.
Det Chief Insp Ruby Burrow of Nottinghamshire Police said officers did not believe there was an immediate risk to the public.
She added: “This is a tragic case and we are currently working to understand exactly how and when these people died. Whilst our investigation remains at an early stage, we do not currently believe what happened to be suspicious.
“We have enlisted the help of a forensic pathologist and will be in a better position to determine what has happened once they conclude their report.
“Officers will remain at the address for at least the rest of [Wednesday].”

Polycule ♡♤♧◇
Tumblr media
So I found a post somewhere talking about a polycule of these 4, (since they all get shipped with Kevin so much) I liked the idea and made a few doodles of them!!
I even drew some charts to make a basic rundown of their dynamics!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kevin and Streber: both met in high school and have been dating since graduation, literally opposites attract lol.
Kevin and Radford: Rick introduced them to each other, Kevin was (and still is) a bit shy towards him but slowly eased up.
Kevin and Rick: Kevin hired Rick when he was looking for a new job, started out as simple employees to tired but loving boyfriends.
Streber and Radford: They both met through Kevin and Rick, they started out a lil awkward but quickly got close to one another by their equal love for horror movies.
Streber and Rick: Kevin introduced them to each other, Rick was confused but fond of Streber's personality, slowly they got together.
Radford and Rick: Met when Rick was working at the Movie Theater, became close friends even after he got fired and eventually got together.

"Stone of Destiny" set to cause a stir
Tumblr media
Press and Journal: October 4, 2008
Some say it was the greatest robbery in Scotland's History, others that it bolstered calls for independence. Now cinema audiences have the opportunity to decide for themselves as Stone of Destiny opens next week.
The true story of Scotland’s most daring robbery hits cinema screens on October 10, when Charles Martin Smith’s latest feature, Stone of Destiny, is released.
The all-star cast includes Charlie Cox (Casanova, Stardust) and Kate Mara (Shooter, Brokeback Mountain) alongside Scottish screen legends Billy Boyd (The Lord of the Rings, Master and Commander) and Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting, The Full Monty) as well as Peter Mullan (My Name is Joe, Children of Men) and Academy Award winner Brenda Fricker (My Left Foot).
Written and directed by Charles Martin Smith, Stone of Destiny is based on the real-life story of Ian Hamilton, played by Charlie Cox, who led a group of four university students to steal back the legendary coronation stone of Scottish kings and queens and symbol of Scottish independence – the Stone of Scone.
Frustrated by political apathy and Scotland’s diminishing sense of nationhood, Hamilton sought to reawaken Scottish national pride and spur his generation into action.
For hundreds of years, the English had jealously guarded the Scottish coronation stone, the Stone of Destiny – an ancient block of sandstone symbolically used in coronation ceremonies which Edward I took from Perth in the 13th century.
Hamilton led a group of university friends to London to make a dramatic gesture to reinstate Scotland’s place on the political map. Despite having little money and even less experience, they hatched an ambitious plan to break into Westminster Abbey in the wee hours of Christmas morning and “liberate” the most powerful symbol of Scotland’s nationhood, the Stone of Scone – otherwise known as the Stone of Destiny.
Hamilton’s daring act was a moment of great Scottish pride.
Based on Ian Hamilton’s book, The Taking of The Stone of Destiny, the movie was filmed in Glasgow and London and, fittingly, had its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June this year.
Among those attending the premiere were Sir Sean Connery, Nairn-based Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton and the entire cast.
While Charlie Cox burst into public consciousness in 2007 with his lead role in Matthew Vaughn’s Stardust, the 25-year-old London-born actor was no beginner.
After making his big-screen debut in 2003 thriller Dot The I, he went on to work opposite Al Pacino in Michael Radford’s lush film version of The Merchant of Venice and Heath Ledger in another film set in the Italian city, 2005’s Casanova. Subsequently acting alongside Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer in Stardust, Cox evidently has no fear of challenging himself to the limits.
However, accepting the role of Hamilton threw up two challenges – perfecting a Scottish accent and coming up against Scottish acting giant Robert Carlyle, who plays Hamilton’s reluctant mentor, John MacCormick.
Speaking of Carlyle, Cox said: “He’s one of my favourite actors; in many ways, more so than some of the big guys because he’s more my generation.
“I’ve grown up watching his films and he’s a jobbing actor who does great role after great role.”
And mastering the accent?
“Absolutely terrified – and still am. There’s no real excuse for it, is there? It’s my job to get it right, and I’m not great with accents. I’m not one of those people that can turn it on. I had to really work hard with it. And I know that I’ll watch the film and hear sounds that are off and wrong, and I just hope that doesn’t take away from the performance, and I hope it’s not too obvious to others.”
Having spent months filming a story he initially knew nothing about, it’s interesting to hear his views on the completed film.
“I loved it. I thought it was incredibly charming,” said Cox. “I felt like I did when I read the script. I thought it was a wonderful story and told brilliantly. And I really feel like Charlie Martin Smith has translated that very well on to film.”
Playing a person who is still alive makes the role that wee bit harder, too.
“It’s a bit mad, isn’t it?” said Cox. “It’s a wee bit more pressure. I feel, with the other characters that I’ve played, anything extra that I bring to it is justifiable because it’s my own invention. Whereas that’s not the case here.
“You’re playing someone who does exist, who was documented, and although what I know of Ian is what he is today, and the bits of information I have from the 1950s and the rest of his life, I don’t have any video footage of him. So I had to make my own mind up, which is more freeing.
“But it’s a pressure. If I don’t do him justice, if I get him wrong, it’s not OK. His son was on the set, who, ironically, is a friend of mine. Ian (Hamilton) has seen it, but not on the big screen, and that makes a big difference.
“If you don’t know much about film, if you haven’t worked a lot with film, you can watch it on a small screen and think that you’ve seen it. But then it’s a different experience.”
Like Mel Gibson’s Braveheart, Stone of Destiny is tipped to stir Scottish blood.
“I read something in the paper the other day. The biggest boost of national pride in Scotland over the last 50 years was the release of Braveheart,” said Cox. “They had more rallies and letters when Braveheart was released than over anything else.”
Although he knew nothing of the story beforehand, having learned it, Cox feels it contributed to the movement for Scottish independence.
“Although it didn’t have a direct impact into the Scottish government, it was certainly a huge catalyst towards all of that,” said Cox. “Ironically, and a lot of this is by chance, filming it now is interesting because the nationalist party are in power. Not only was that not the case back then, it was far from it. It was not even feasible.”

Spooky Month: The Dating Sim
Part 8
(I'm mainly just doing this because it's fun to watch, but this is basically a spooky month interactive thing/poll which is kinda like a dating sim. Of course, only the adult characters can be your love interests. So do take that in mind.)
(By the way, I decided that Radford will be a love interest. I'll try my best to make him as accurate as possible.)
————
You decided to ask for her name.
She looked at you, and stopped in her tracks. She blinked, and then smiled. "Well.. I'm Lila! And this is my son, Skid!" She grinned, placing a hand on her sons head. Her son looked up at you. So he was her son. You had to admit, even though you just met her, she seemed like a very hard working mother.
Lila then asked you, "What's your name?".
Of course, you told her your name somewhat hesitantly.
She smiled. "That's a nice name!" She uttered happily. She then let out a sigh. "Well.. I don't know if we'll see eachother again. But if we do, would you wanna talk a bit more?"
It.. was a little odd that she had taken such interest in you already, despite you two having just met. Where was this source of interest coming from? Though then again, maybe she was just being friendly. And you kind of did want to talk to her more.
In response, you said that you wouldn't mind talking to her more.
She grinned. "Alright! Bye!" She said in a somewhat cheerful manner. In reply, you said bye back. Her son said nothing, but you could have sworn you saw him smiling eagerly up at her. You then turned around, and she began to walk in the opposite direction.
Lila, huh? She seemed like a nice lady. You wouldn't mind talking to her more.
Either way, you clenched your hand around the door handle, and slowly opened the door to the Theater.
...
As you walked in, you took in the environment. It seemed like any other normal movie theater lobby. Though at the counter, you saw a blonde haired man with movie glasses standing there with his hand resting against his face. He seemed somewhat frustrated. Upon noticing you though, he said, "The projectors aren't working, dude.. I don't think you can watch a movie right now."
You blinked. You said that you knew, and that someone had told you. Upon instinct, you asked why exactly they weren't working.
"I don't know, man." The man said. "We're kinda low on staff here today and none of us really know how to fix it. We tried calling a mechanic or a technician or something, but he said he'd be arriving in 5 hours."
You arched a brow in slight concern. The man at the counter seemed frustrated. And even though you weren't even working there, you could tell that this was certainly a pain for him.

Gimme Dexter headcanons *grabby hands*
YESSS
He has put a rat in his mouth before. Not on a dare, not with any prompting. He just wanted to do it (he's silly like that)
Goes bowling every other Saturday with Rick, Radford, Kevin, and Streber
Loves to talk about all of the neat creatures he encounters with his job
His goggles are prescription, his glasses got broken and he decided it would be easier to just wear the goggles that go with his outfit
Absolutely HATES the cat that hangs around near The Candy Club
Whenever business is slow he hunts for rats and cockroaches and other stuff in the apartment building for free, making them cleanest apartment building on the block
He is very thorough when it comes to exterminating
Adores hugs and hand holding with Kevin and Streber
During his time in the doll he investigated the attic for a little while, trying to figure out how Lila trapped him inside the doll and how to undo it, not knowing the dolls are just like that
He also has another little area where he keeps papers, not just the toybox
He and Patty are good friends
Freaked out when he first heard that Streber got his arm eaten by his dad by a cannibal
And felt insanely guilty that he stabbed Kevin while in the doll
During his first week or so in his (now messed up) body he kept his mask close. It reminded him of who he used to be
Needs therapy so badly, good lord someone please help him
The opposite of cold blooded. Hot blooded. He is just constantly boiling and it's always too warm
Going off the last one when it snows in the town he finds out he just melts snow
He got to go back to his apartment for a day, accidently jammed one of his horns into the ceiling and needed help to get it unstuck
He can possess Happy Fella dolls, first time it happened he scared the shit out of himself
Streber got him a job at the haunted house!
Overall I don't have that many headcanons for him I tend to more think about theories and angst

Smiffina Episodes - Episode 254
We start where we left off, Smithy is outside with Kerry in his arms, bleeding from a gunshot wound. The alarm is sounded inside the station as Smithy shouts for those who are coming out to see what has happened to "take cover - shots fired!"
In his office, Adam breaks away from June to look outside and sees the chaos, running downstairs with June and Gina following too with assorted extras. Rob shouts someone's shouting at the front of the station and Adam stops everyone running down the stairs. He tells June to get an ambulance and asks Gina to call for SO/CO19. Gina starts down the stairs when she hears Smithy might have been shot, but she is ordered back up by Adam to sort out for armed support.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Smithy shouts over that they need an ambulance for Kerry, confirming to Adam he's fine afterwards. He keeps trying to get Kerry to open her eyes and look at him but she's rapidly losing blood. Smithy shouts again for an ambulance as Reg scoots the first aid box to him. Adam orders all officers to stay away from the station if they're outside the building and direct their attention to the flats and office directly opposite the station. Adam delays the ambulance that's at the end of the road until he knows that it's all clear.
On the roof Gabriel is desperatley scrabbling around to gather all evidence from the scene, including the bullet cartridges and to get away with the gun as quickly as possible. One falls down the drainpipe and as he runs round he finds access blocked by a large gate. He hides the gun in his patrol car and speeds off, driving erratically, narrowly avoiding hitting an old man. He drives into the station carpark, greeting Steve normally.
Smithy shouts again for the ambulance and shouts for Adam to let it in now because they're rapidly running out of time. SO19 (now CO19) appear and Smithy assures Kerry she's going to be fine, the ambulance is coming. Eventually she's loaded into it, Smithy accompanying her to the hospital. When taken through, Kerry quickly flatlines. Smithy is forced out of the room and has to watch through a window whilst the staff try to ressucitate her.
In her office June is in tears. Gabriel calls to her and June sobs 'she's so young, who'd do such a thing?' as Gabriel draws back - ironically into shadow.
Tumblr media
With no response to any of the CPR, the doctors have to call time of death for Kerry - Smithy breaks down. He clings to her hand and sobs over her body when they're left alone.
The usually noisy bustling station is completely silent as Adam walks through to the briefing room, having to tell everyone - CID, Uniform and Dean and Marilyn - that Kerry has died.
The 3 senior officers are in Adam's office to discuss what happens next as Smithy, bubbling over with anger and grief, bursts in the door. Gina instantly goes to his side and tries to comfort and calm him, telling him it's not the time. Adam agrees to let him have his say - but in private. Gina reluctantly has to leave the room with Neil.
Tumblr media
Smithy rages at Adam, accusing him of negligence for delaying the ambulance and insisting it's David Radford behind the shooting, demanding that he is brought in immediatley. Adam refuses, tries to calm him down and insists he go and bag his uniform for forensics and, if he can't continue the day in a calm manner, to go home.
Smithy literally barges his way through staff to go and change, Gabriel following him. He asks if he can drive Smithy home and if Kerry said anything at the end. Smithy calls him a vulture and tells him to get out of his face after venting. June asks Gabriel what he'd said to Smithy and Gabriel mockingly replies 'the man's losing it, isn't he?'
MIT's DCI Morell arrives and is brought up to speed. The Radford's at the likely target and Adam arranges for Ken to talk to her to explain the situation. She wants to talk to Smithy first.
Smithy is out of the station and looking for someone to blame. He makes his way to the Radfords Club and bangs on the door, demanding David come out to speak to him. Smithy spots him being driven away from the club with Irene and races back to his patrol car to follow.
Adam stops June asking Gabriel what is going on and what he's hiding by asking if she's seen Smithy. He offers to return to his office to discuss what they were talking about but before he can, Ken appears to tell him CO19 have found the location where they believe the shots were fired from - both important bits of news for Gabriel.
Tumblr media
Gabriel reminds June Kerry is dead and can't speak out, he reminds her also of his threats and that she'd also be throwing her career away. He then volunteers to help CO19 secure the building and June tells her to take Andrea with him. Neil tries to stop her going incase it's not safe, but she tells him it's too late for his concern. At the scene, Gabriel simply slips to the gate he couldn't get through before, trying to remove the bullet casing - thankfully he's stopped by Lance's boyfriend, the CO19 sgt, who orders him to get a CSE down instead.
Smithy overtakes the Radfords and demands David get out the car, thrusting him back against the roof as he accuses him of killing Kerry. Rob appears and manages to get him to stop assaulting David - much to the surprise of himself and Irene!
Tumblr media
With Smithy unavailable at the moment, June is interviewed by Rowan. She doesn't know of any enemies - purposely not mentioning Gabriel.
Irene wants to speak to Gina, turning up at the station. Yvonne is horrified to see her strutting through the station to Gina's office, evil eyeing her with Steve. Irene tells Gina about Smithy charging through the streets after their car - and Gina quickly dismisses PC!Extra so they can talk in private. Irene assures her that David had nothing to do with it. She says she knows that Smithy had a thing for Kerry and he's upset. "Meaning?" "You look after your boy, Gina, and I'll look after mine." ❤
Gabriel removes the gun from the back of his patrol car, stopping for a word with Mark, Lance's boyfriend, whilst holding it. He apologies for what happened at the scene. He then bumps into June and Rowan whilst holding it before hiding it in his locker. Smithy and Rob arrive and he tells Smithy they're all worried about him before leaving the room. Rob tries to comfort him, reminding him that even if they did get David and put him away forever - it wouldn't stop it hurting.
Ken tells Rowan that she's wasting time looking into Kerry's friends and colleagues and that it's likely to be a random cop hater or similar. Rowan tells him they need to get inside Kerry's life and find out exactly what was going on. They want all her phone calls and messages... June looks worried. She left a message on Kerry's phone asking her not to tell anyone about Gabriel.
Smithy sits in the canteen having to listen to assorted gossip happening around him - a press release, someone close to her doing it, flooding the scene with manpower etc etc. Rob comes to find him, telling him that Gina is looking for him. Smithy works himself up during their chat and Gina has to physically comfort him. Why won't anyone give the poor boy a hug? Well.. Gina... anyone else he'd shove away.
Tumblr media
He hands Gina his warrant card, "Can't do it anymore." he says, walking straight out before she can speak. Gina angrily throws it onto her desk.
Rowan plays June her message and and asks her what her comment about 'ruining careers' means. She says she was having a disagreement with someone and she wanted to take it further. She insists that she doesn't know who it is that she was having the disagreement with.
At the press conference, Bruce asks if the murder is linked with the other serial sniper shootings. They say they're not ruling anything out.
Andrea is played her message and she confesses that Kerry was angry with her because they'd been having a disagreement. She explains she was in a relationship that is now over and Kerry found out, embarassing the person involved. She's allowed out the interview room and goes to meet her editor, Bruce, in front of the station. She wants out. He refuses. The next day, Neil restarts their affair.
The gun from the other three shootings has been confirmed to be the gun that was used to kill Kerry from the bullet casing Gabriel 'found'.
June tells Gabriel that everything is okay, she didn't mentioned names in her message. She then asks him where he was when Kerry was shot. "Anyone would think you're accusing me of murdering Kerry."
Gabriel is almost out of the station with the gun as Rowan calls him back. She asks Gabriel if he and Kerry were close - he says they were as close as any two members of a team could be. She watches him with interest as he walks away.
Outside the station now the front is open again Smithy and Marilyn lay flowers. Marilyn offers to talk if he needs someone to listen. Smithy can't speak, he sits outside, just staring at the area that he and Kerry were after she was shot - and at the flowers outside. Gina appears and finally he starts to open up. "If I could have put myself in front of that bullet...." "I know, cos that's the kind of man that you are. And that's why I'm not accepting your warrant card so you can come and pick it up later on." He starts to cry after she wants to send him home and FINALLY she gives him a hug.
Tumblr media
Steve reports that a police car almost dropped a man down in an area that noone from Sun Hill would have been at yet. Gabriel claims it was probably Barton St. "I was on the Coal Lane Estate." "Allright, chill out - noone's accusing you!" Steve assures him before going to tell MIT. Gabriel visits the man who made the complaint and confuses him, telling him it was a joyrider in a grey car and not a police car.
Sun Hill know what the sniper was (ex military) and where he was and what he used, Suzie claims it won't be long before they know who he is. There is a difference with this shooting however though. Instead of just the one precision shot there were at least two shots made. The victim was a police officer rather than a criminal - however the common link of all other suspected sniper victims is still in place - Sun Hill Station.
Suzie then goes to find Gabriel and takes him to an MIT interview. Rowan asks why Gabriel has been lying to her. She knows the truth about him and Kerry. "Why didn't you tell us you'd been sleeping with her?" "I think you've made a mistake." "When Kerry died she was carrying three months pregnant. Your baby. When Kerry died she was carrying your son."

And Radford works there!! :D but he tells the kids to gtfo but loudly going "aHEM." and pointing to a "no kids" sign.
the kids are like "!?!? what kind of BOOKSTORE DOESNT ALLOW KIDS!?"
maybe the happy fella attacks him... whatevers going on in there.
mean to the kids? stabbed in the achilles tendon.
KDJNG?? Wait that's hilarious
I'm assuming Robert's had the doll around his house before so boy was just WAITING for an opportunity for Radford to be by himself he was READY

(Drawn using @/dismissivedestroyer's very helpful tips. I just suck at bodies so it's only upper lol)
Meet Marnie! I've changed her a bit from when I first made her, so here are some lore and facts about her:
Voice Claim: Stephanie Beatriz (Mirabel, Encanto)
Due to her love of space, people tend to call her 'Mars', after the planet
She was 19, as of the first episode of the show
I originally had her as the Spookez babysitter, but changed her to only Roy's babysitter (and by default, the Hatzgang's babysitter)
Besides the babysitting gig, she also worked at the movie theater with Radford
She's a pin collector, as evidenced by the ones on her jacket and beanie. The pins show off her main interests, which is anything space or soccer related
She used to be a major soccer player in high school
She's dead, but is only declared as missing to her loved ones, meaning no one knows. She's classified as a ghost, specifically a Banshee
Ship Names: Sci-Fi Thriller (HerXRadXEthan) and PastelPageTurner (Opposite AU version; AU owned by @/zleepysnails, Op!Rad + Op!Ethan owned by @/jacenotjason)

Street Art
A captivating, huge shark mural, located in Wellington, is a grandeur that is impossible to overlook. It stretches across 50 meters in length and stands tall at 6 meters, requiring the use of cranes during the painting. Overall, it showcases 190 distinct, colourful, and animated sharks, representing the number of sharks that get killed worldwide every single minute.
Situated on the exterior of a central Wellington carpark, it stands opposite to the Museum of New Zealand Te papa. This piece of art was created during the first-ever New Zealand shark awareness week. The New Zealand shark awareness week took place from September 9 to September 15 in 2013, organised by the New Zealand Shark Alliance with the primary object of raising public awareness regarding shark finning. Surprisingly, despite nearly 100 countries and states, including Australia, America, and the EU, having already banned shark finning, it remained legal in New Zealand at that time.
BMD, the art collective that created this beautiful shark mural, has already been a history. The two Taranaki artists announced their seperation back in 2015 and revealed their identities as Damin Radford-Scott and Andrew J. Steel. The reason their chose to remain anonymous was an effort to make people focus more on their work rather than the artists.
Eventually, a positive change emerged subsequent to the mural’s inception. New Zealand implemented a ban on shark finning in 2014, a significant stride towards safeguarding these marine species. In addition, this critical regulation forbids discarding deceased sharks back into the sea.
