for the thrill of being addressed by her, I would gladly have lost all of my old name, and taken a new one, or gone nameless entirely. tipping the velvet // sarah waters
And I'll be okay admiring from afar
'Cause even when she's next to me
We could not be more far apart
And she tastes like birthday cake and storytime and fall
But to her, I taste of nothing at all
That moment when the two boys Would Not let Ongsa leave and not just kept chasing her but grabbing her and filming her no matter what she said or what happened? That was just genuinely deeply uncomfortable especially because it felt like even to the end they never thought they did anything wrong and the interplay of the comedy with their actions makes me wonder how that played out in the director's mind.
But Sun's rescue at the end was great and I did love the little class president trying to help even if that was definitely played for laughs.
edit okay, so the show did handle it well and it's almost entire thanks to Ongsa's sister and I appreciate that, Alpha is the hero we need and deserve to save us from
