A night I’ll never forget with people who were in my life during my journey from a shy, quiet teenage tomboy… To finding my voice, my smile, and my confidence during this iconic years of high school. Super Saturday IFIT Summit Push training yet continues… One day rest a week. Even then, I’m technically not resting. But today consisted of mindfulness, meditation, and then a 5K in Live Ogden Marathon 5K with iFIT Trainer Ashley Paulson and it was a blast! Pushed my incline up, kept a good pace according to MMR at 11:24 and Strava had me at 14:12 but I started them at different times, but happy with the IFIT incline pace today in Ogden, which is where I will be in less than 2 weeks! Flying out early so I can acclimate. Going up to the mountains and just relaxing and resting at altitude and keep up the trekking before the hike. Still have some last minute things to do… More workouts today for weight training and yoga as well. Fit it in between doggy walks and a memorial being held for my long time friend Dott - she broke the mold of individuality and being true to her word. We lost this strong woman back in the early days of Covid…looking forward to seeing many there and getting my doggy love in today as it’s been 17 months to the day we lost Herkales…he has given me strength to seek more challenges in my life… Don’t ever quit. Believe. Stay Hard. Stay strong. Seek challenges. Break barriers. Keep your circle of friends positive and toss out the negative….and enjoy all the adventures around the sun!!! Scenes from Ogden, Utah foothills on Labor Day. The air in Ogden was better then Boise on Monday. When we left Boise our AQI was 135, it was moderate or in the AQI 80s range in Utah.
