October Project: 13 Ghosts Rewrite
So I recently discovered the movie “13 Ghosts,” and I am infatuated. It looks terrible, but the ghosts are incredibly designed - I guess the people who did the effects went on to work on “Thor: Ragnarok,” which is cool. The ghosts seem to be everyone’s favorite part of the movie, and I have to admit they are cool. I went a little deeper into the mythos surrounding the ghosts, and thought it would be really cool to rewrite the stories surrounding the ghosts. Think of this as a writer’s version of #inktober, except there are only thirteen short stories instead of thirty-one pictures because I could not in a million years write and edit thirty-one stories in the span of a month - especially since I’m starting a week late! SO - here are the rules I’ve set up for myself:
1) Each story must be titled after the ghost.
2) Each ghost must correspond with the Black Zodiac as closely as possible, while staying far away from the original origin stories.
3) Thirteen stories within the month of October. There will be no particular schedule, though I will post 3-4 each week, starting this week, October 7th.
4) The 13 Ghosts wiki states the First Born Son corresponds with Aires in the traditional zodiac. Based on that, each story - with the exception of the thirteenth - will include the zodiac in some way, shape, or form. This may be subtle or obvious, but it will be there.
5) At the end of each story, I will compare both the ghost I wrote about and the corresponding ghost from the movie.
With all that being said, let’s get started! By the end of the week (Sunday, October 14), The First Born Son, The Torso, The Bound Woman, and possibly The Withered Lover will be posted.

October had arrived. She knew this was where the first snow would take place. All around the tree she was nestled in were others, like her, who had come to the those first glistening flakes fall from the sky. A loud hum hung in the air, but October knew it would die off as the snow approached. It would be silent when the first snow fell. Nearby, October could see many she had met before. There were others who even shared the great horns atop her head. But someone was missing. October racked her brain to remember who it was, but couldn’t for some reason. So she just turned to the white furball next to her and started a conversation. October was too practical to waste time trying to remember someone who would be here in the next week sometime.

Hi! I'm looking for a Ten/Rose fic, where Ten decides he wants to entice Rose into a romantic relationship so he starts acting sexy around her, dressing in jeans to tempt her, but she's either oblivious or thinks she's reading too much into his actions. At the same time, Jackie is pretending to be crazy and see ghosts so they'll stay on Earth with her and she's trying to play matchmaker with them. I think they're staying in a fancy house, and at some point Jack and Torchwood show up.
That sounds like I Miss My Mind the Most by OctoberProject.
