Oh. Not hard to explain.

Aaron Claw - overused his magic and was getting annoyed with a classmate.

Rayan al-Mena - Overused his Unique Magic + a classmate was getting on his nerves.

Elise Page - got blamed for someone else's mess, got mad about it, and lashed out.

Jian-Yu Song - miscommunication and also a stupid classmate.

Aster Nightshade - Annoyed with a classmate, someone ate his cake, and overuse of magic.

Longwei Jiang- overuse of magic.

Caius Luna, Xavi Luna, and Varian Luna - all three overblotted at the same time because they argued among themselves, so there was lots of netative emotion there.

Ester Thorn - overuse of his Unique Magic + lost control of his own emotions.

Xue Long Yang - a build up of negative emotions (self-doubt, doubts about friends, feeling as if some things were his fault, not telling anyone he had problems.)

Scarabia and Pomefiore edition

Due to the curse Malleus cast that has enveloped all of Sage’s Island, everyone is sleeping.

Emil Mays - Emil is living with his family. His parents still aren't around, but he is happy. His life isn't that different than the normal world. It is just the same, but he met Rayan at an earlier time.

Jiao-Long Feng - Jiao-Long's ideal dream world shows that he has a younger sibling just like he had dreamed of. His family is happy, and they are well off. He spends a lot of time with his family and helps around the neighborhood.

Rayan al-Mena - Rayan's ideal world is pretty much the same as the life he has in the normal world. However, he has more friends than he had before. Emil is someone he knew way sooner, and they both spend a lot of time together.

Sébastien Cadieux - Sébastien's family business is rich. The flowers they sell are bought by people all around the area. He never went to RSA and goes straight to NRC as his first magic school. He has plenty of friends and is popular at school.

Shen Liu - Shen is living a life back home. He is helping with his family's business. Most of his time is spent assisting his parents. However, that means that he never went to NRC. Yet he still has become friends with some of the students there somehow.

Elise Page - Contrary to normal, he is accepting of his name. Elise is happy with the life he has at home. He does not have to keep his magic hidden from his family anymore, and he is free to use it. His family is accepting of all of it.

Xīnyí Tián - People would think that Xīnyí's ideal world is one where he never left home, but that is not the case. His ideal dream world has him surrounded by family. They are accepting of his dreams, and he is not forced to follow any strict rules. He also never had the accident that cost him his leg. Things have never gone wrong.

Hubert Toussaint - Hubert never had the pressure to be perfect in the ideal dream world, but he still strives for the best. He never had to lie about his Unique Magic to his parents, and they support him however they can. Here, they contact him frequently to make sure he is alright.

Octavinelle and Scarabia edition

Nalani is typically upbeat and lively. However, he tends to tune out the things around him. He is usually preoccupied with his own things like listening to music. Going on that same line, listening to music is how he copes with things.

Aster has anxiety when it comes to dealing with people. He dislikes having to talk to confrontational people. Typically, he prefers keeping to himself. However, there are some people that he likes to speak with. Coping mechanisms for him would be hide in a small space.

Longwei does not like talking to people who lie. He wants truth from people and nothing else. He hates it when people lie to him because it feels like they aren't so trustworthy. When he needs to cope with something, he stays in his room.

YunLong is a calm person for the most part. He watches people closely and evaluates them based on their actions. He does know what he has to say to get under someone's skin. To cope with problems, he tends to play music.

Emil tends to act like a trickster. He finds some joy in toying with people, but he knows there should be limits. He tends to act based on emotion sometimes. A way to cope with problems is to listen to music.

Jiao-Long is an intelligent, cunning, and resourceful individual. He is prideful in his knowledge and tends to overthink things. He does not try to spare feelings when giving his opinion. To cope with problems, he goes for walks.

Rayan tends to think a lot. He worries about how people perceive him and tries to stay on their good side. He does not want to get into trouble with people if he can avoid it. For him, the best way to deal with problems is to sit outside and stare at the sky.

Rayan is believed to be a devious person, but he is also known to be a kind and open person. He is also known to be bluntly honest to a fault however.

Background:

Rayan hails from a noble family. However, he is not the eldest child. As a result, he does not have to take on any family responsibilities. His parents still show him just as much love as they give the rest of his siblings, but they give him more freedom to do what he wants to do.

Because of this, he had taken to wandering the streets. During one of his trips, he met Emil Mays and was quick to befriend him. Despite Emil’s thieving tendencies, Rayan still saw him as a good person and invited him over for dinner on several occasions.

When he discovered his Unique Magic, he began using it as a way to earn some money. With the money he got, he bought some things for himself and his friend. After getting into some trouble for this, he tried to lie low about it. However, his parents had learned of this, so they decided to send him to Night Raven College to try and control his magic better.

It was something that he had willingly accepted because it gave him a chance to see more of the world. When he was ready to go, he gave his family members some future predictions before parting ways with them.

Skills and Abilities:

Intelligence: Rayan is an intelligent person. He is good at analyzing situations and comes up with plans that could work in his favor.

Charisma: He is able to make himself seem like a trustworthy person and uses it to persuade people into trusting him. He has been able to become friends with different people due to his approachable appearance.

Persuasive: He is good at persuading people to help him with things. He knows how to choose his words carefully. This helps him to convince people not to go against him.

Magical Skill: He is decently skilled in magic, particularly flora magic. He has great control over his magic, able to manipulate it into different shapes.

Nasir al-Reza

"I wish for my family's business to thrive."

Reason: Nasir wants nothing more than for his family's business to thrive. He dislikes that they are not as successful as some of the other families in the Scalding Sands, and he wants them to have the best business around.

"My wish is for the garden to be prettier."

Reason: Peri loves plants, so he wants to see the garden grow and thrive. He would prefer for it to have more pretty flowers, but he wouldn't complain if it doesn't. He has hopes that more people will appreciate the garden if it looks nicer.

Rayan al-Mena

"I wish for everyone to have a great year."

Reason: Rayan dislikes that some of his future predictions can come across as terrible to other people, so he wants that to change. He hopes that the future of other people will be bright instead of looking down.

Sébastien Cadieux

"My wish is for people to yell less."

Reason: Sébastien dislikes how loud people can be. He would prefer it if things were more quiet around the school, but it does not help that he is loud himself. When he yells, other people tend to yell. It just becomes an endless cycle, so he wants to change that.

Reason: Shen does not have an easy time making friends with people due to his Unique Magic and his tendency to talk to spirits others cannot see. He wants to be able to have a normal conversation with someone and be their friends.

Note

It's cool that you made black ocs, but did you really have to give them bad stereotypes? i.e. Emil being a thief; Rayan being a scammer; Nasir trying to commit murder. It would be cool if they weren't the stereotypes that make black people come across as evil. And you should consider making them all look less feminine.

I'm sorry, what?

Emil, Rayan, and Nasir are not black. They are all Arabs. Just because they have a darker skin tone doesn't mean they are black. I'm not going to be changing those traits for them cause it is part of what makes them more complicated and makes them morally gray. Plus as twst ocs, they are living in the villains' world so it wouldn't be unlikely for them to have some gray morals.

And about them looking a bit feminine, it isn't like there aren't feminine men that exist irl.

On top of that, these are my ocs. I'm allowed to do what I desire with them whether others like that or not. If you don't like how they are being portrayed or what I am saying, you could simply block me anon.
