Three songs for one OC (or rather one group), one WIP and on companionships. Respectively for Wings And Horns, A Radioactive Calamity Of Love, Bombs & Gore and The UnTitledverse. Listen and read below:
Wings And Horns is an Original Work I'm planning to write, which involves a pair of angels chasing after a pair of extremist demons who are trying to destroy the "Soulmate System"; a divine system designed to romantically pair souls together throughout lifetimes and reincarnation. Archangel Metatron and his companion, an Angel of Death named Azriel, are tasked with preserving the system, while a Demon from the Sloth Ring known as Xiang Ba'al and his adopted daughter, a Sinner soul by the name of Jezebel, start a campaign to abolish the Soulmate System due to the flaws that had personally affected Jezebel. "Carousel" encapsulates everyone's place in the system, how while it is well-meaning and capable of bringing joy to some, it does leave others at a disadvantage and gives a lack of choice in their destinies.

"'Round and 'round like a horse on a carousel, we go Will I catch up to love? I could never tell, I know Chasing after you is like a fairytale, but I Feel like I'm glued on tight to this carousel
Come, come one, come all You must be this tall To ride this ride at the carnival
Oh, come, take my hand And run through playland So high, too high at the carnival
And it's all fun and games 'Til somebody falls in love But you've already bought a ticket And there's no turning back now
'Round and 'round like a horse on a carousel, we go Will I catch up to love? I could never tell, I know Chasing after you is like a fairytale, but I Feel like I'm glued on tight to this carousel
This horse is too slow We're always this close Almost, almost, we're a freakshow
Right, right when I'm near It's like you disappear Where'd you go? Mr. Houdini, you're a freakshow
Why did you steal my cotton candy heart? You threw it in this damn coin slot And now I'm stuck, I'm stuck Riding, riding, riding
'Round and 'round like a horse on a carousel, we go Will I catch up to love? I could never tell, I know Chasing after you is like a fairytale, but I Feel like I'm glued on tight to this carousel."
Next song I'd say is less for the OC in The UnTitledverse I chose this for, by the name of Madame Callaghan, who is the director of C.Y.P.R.U.S, a multiverse organization that kidnaps children and trains them to be assassins and hitmen (amongst other unfavorable things), but more so for both Madame Callaghan and her expectation and relationship with her "children" as well; Mordecai (The Huntsman), Urijah (The Nihilist), Theodore or rather Theo (The Copycat) and lastly Candace (The Combatant). I tried to encompass the main figureheads of C.Y.P.R.U.S with this one.

"Time of the essence Do not let me down (Down) So many people in one place It's time for us to make a presence
Time is of the essence I won't let you down (Down) So many people in one place Oblivious, just like you say
So just trust me this one time I know you won't regret it I know you are sick, but so am I
And I will be there for you Through time as it tick, tick, ticks
And I will be there for you Through time as it tick, tick, ticks
And I will be there for you
My darling, I know there's certain things that you should know I know this comes with a price that I'm willing to pay Be ready Something terrible is coming (something terrible is coming) (Tick, tick, tick, tick)
Everything I've worked for, and everything I do You know that there's a reason that I do these things for you I do it for the thrill, I do it for the fun You've taught me there's a twisted usefulness in everyone Let me prove my point, it will not disappoint Just give me the word, I am ready, I am poised Isn't this what a true friend would do? I promised I would be there for you."
This song relates to Marissa "Ress" Bishop and Ortega "Ore" Brantley's bond with their Fallout companions in A Radioactive Calamity Of Love, Bombs & Gore. Ore has been around long enough to make companions during the events (though slightly altered) of Fallout (1997), 2, 3 and New Vegas, while Ress has been around to bond with her companions in Fallout 3, New Vegas and 4. After Fallout (1997) and Fallout 2, Ore takes an "keep at arms length" approach with human companions in 3 and New Vegas, because he's outlived the likes of Elrand Brant (The Vault Dweller), Ian, Tycho, Katja and likely John Cassidy and Vic as well (either to age or circumstances) including Elrand's granddaughter Finidy Mona (The Chosen One), whom had been killed by Ore's father, Arcane Urias. Ore mostly connects with non-human companions as they are either a Ghoul or a Super Mutant and have a longer lifespan, until he makes a connection with Ryder (Courier Six). Meanwhile, Ress has the luck of gaining companions and keeping in contact with them in less than a decade, and due to her upbringing with the Bishop Crime Family, has a need to socialize and keep her companions close. She understands that due to her father, Urias', biology she'll likely outlive most others just like Ore, so she takes it upon herself to make as much meaningful relationships as possible to remember fondly over. The reason Ore and Ress gravitate towards these companions is either due to a sentimental reason or even because nearly all companions are as odd and outcasted as the brother and sister are.

"Hey, everybody loses it Everybody wants to throw it all away sometimes And hey, yeah, I know what you're goin' through Don't let it get the best of you You'll make it out alive
Oh, people like us, we've got to stick together Keep your head up, nothin' lasts forever Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to keep high when you're living on the bottom
Oh, whoa, oh, whoa We're all misfits living in a world on fire Oh, whoa, oh, whoa Sing it for the people like us, the people like us
Hey, this is not a funeral It's a revolution after all your tears have turned to rage Just wait, everything will be okay Even when you're feelin' like it's goin' down in flames, oh."

Here's the taglist.
Three WIPs for Far Cry The Silver Chronicles, A Radioactive Calamity Of Love, Bombs & Gore and six sentences paragraphs for a little Classroom Of The Elite AU fic not related to any of my series as of now (though I do have a separate fic in the making for The UnTitledverse). You'll find these under the cut:
Here's a WIP prologue for The True Sinners, where Joseph, per the Voice's orders, seeks out the Tarot Card Holder to tell him of his family's fate in a clearer form than the Voice can give as well as the identity of the Muse. The Voice had only given Joseph one warning; to take the Tarot Card Holder's words with a grain of salt, though his Tarot's knowledge is indispensable for their... newest wrench in the plan, the Holder himself should be considered untrustworthy and far beyond the human he had once been. Enjoy Joseph trying to keep his cool as the newest dickhead in the series, the Tarot Card Holder, tries to strike our favorite prophet's nerves down below:
The humming continued on as the Holder seemingly glided along the wooden planks from inside his stand. Joseph could not see his legs from underneath the extensive robes he wore, and watched in silence as the Holder, with his disproportionate size, did not disturb the various items he skimmed past in his little shop.
Hooded back turned to his customer as he rummaged through his piles of oddments, Joseph cleared his throat, proceeding with the matters he wished to discuss, "I've come here to seek your help, actually."
He received no response or reaction from the Holder, who ceased his humming in favor of grumbling, callously picking items up and throwing them away.
Seeing that didn't get the Holder's attention, Joseph continued, "It's of the upmost importance. The Lord had guided me here to help me understand what it is I'm not seeing in my visions. The old world is on the brink of a great Collapse that will-."
The Holder piqued up at that, stopped rummaging through his messy mound of junk. His hooded head slightly turned towards Joseph, indicating his attention had been reached, and his deep voice rumbled out, "A Collapse you say?"
Joseph let out a breath, briefly smiled to himself as he proceeded to explain, "Yes. I have seen visions of a Collapse that will end the current world and-"
"-And bring forth a new one, wipe the slate clean, etcetera, etcetera," the Holder interrupted, tone radiating mild annoyance as his hand motioned with haste, "I know what a Collapse is. I'm just confused on why that sadistic prick of all mechanisms wants a last resort of horrifying proportions like that to come this early in such peace."
Joseph blinked, brows furrowed as he sets his aviators back up. He watched the as the Holder's robed arm returned to dig around once more. The Holder stopped his movements, tugged at the object he found, and yanked it out of its little hidey hole.
Finally turning to Joseph as the stacks of trinkets collapsed and collided into clatters behind him, the Holder paid it no mind as he approached the front of the stand to see Joseph, face-to-face.
Or rather mask-to-face, considering the Holder's porcelain disguise.
The Holder leaned over the counter with one arm, and even without the stool Joseph sat on, or the size of the stand giving its owner an extra foot in height, he understood that the robed clairvoyant would still be two feet taller than him.
Joseph felt slightly intimidated being looked down upon by such a huge person, especially with all the Lord had said of this person. And yet, Joseph still held onto his faith. As long as he had faith, he would be safe from whatever vile temptations this man had.
"Whatever peace you may think is occurring isn't set to last for long," Joseph insisted, "And the Lord had guided me here. In His own humble admittance, in his own infinite wisdom-"
The Tarot Card Holder snorted with a shake of his head, "More like desperation."
Joseph breathed in a calming patter, just as his beloved had once taught him, "I am here seeking your help to know the fate of my family. A fate that he himself cannot foresee anymore."
The Holder hummed, resting his chin on his gloved palms, the triangular hood holding up like a strong tent, undisturbed by the motion, "And so it sent you to me of all creatures. You both must truly be desperate to get a win for once, huh?"
Joseph face crinkled as he eyed the Tarot Card Holder with weariness. A "win"? What is he talking about? Is this the deceit the Lord had warned me of?
"I don't know what you mean..."
The Holder's eyes, barely seen through his mask, bore down on Joseph. Letting out a huff of air, the Holder explained.
"I figured," he started, "But I must ask, how well do you know of the Muse chosen to take the role of "Hell"?"
Joseph did not comment on the words the Holder spewed out of his forked-tongue as the Voice had instructed, but he did close his eyes in thought, remembering the words and visions the Voice had shared with the Father. The fire. The Garden. Himself. And the ever-shifting future of his siblings, their life and their deaths. That was not the reason to why the Voice tasked him with seeking out the demeaning figure of the Holder.
No, he recalled, it had been the inconstant shape of Hell's figure which led God to push me towards this very stand. He remembered how volatile Hell's setting, form, and voice was within those visions.
"Nothing at all," Joseph admitted conclusively.
"I see," the Holder noted as he tilted his head, the mask betraying no emotion, revealing no humanity, "And yet you said you were here to know of the fate of your family. You do know the knowledge of someone's identity and the fate of loved ones don't exactly coincide correctly, right?"
As the Holder placed his hand from his chin to the counter, Joseph gawked in surprise as the Holder stood taller from within his stand, adding an extra foot in height than what Joseph initially believed. However, this stupor was momentary, as Joseph hunched forward, hands clasped together as he placed them on the counter, his rosary stuck between them.
"I am here to know the fate of my family and the identity of this "muse", this Hell who haunts my mind," Joseph elaborates, neck aching at having to look up so high at the broader figure, "I was under the impression you could provide me both."
The Holder chuckled, shaking his head as if he was admonishing a child, "You neglect the cost of such knowledge. If you've come seeking the Tarot's help free of charge, then I'll be the first to gleefully tell you that you can't have both. Pick one or the other, and hand over whatever possession you have on your person to complete this exchange."
The Holder glances from Joseph's face, which scrutinized the Holder, to his rosary to roaming around the rest of his body.
"Unless... you have another possession to offer alongside the one in your hands?"
Joseph caught on, glancing to the rosary in his hands, gripping it until his hands drained pale.
He avoided the Holder's eyes, and the larger of the two softly hummed, whether in understanding or waning patience of the exchange Joseph couldn't bring himself to focus. The Lord never mentioned this...
"It didn't tell you, did it?" The Holder deduced, chuckling, "Ah yes, such exchanges as these require you to offer something of equal value in return. Often time a gift from a loved one, regardless if they reside in the mortal realm... or have already departed."
Joseph brushed the ornament of the cross, the beads digging into the palms of his hands as he held on to it, like he was holding her hand again.
She always had faith. And she shared that faith with me, giving me back something I thought tainted and lost to the words and hands of Old Man Seed. Gifting me a piece of her, an immortalized memory, like the ink on my arm.
And he was expected to let it go?
"Why?" Joseph breathed out, voice so timid that he was surprised when the Tarot Card Holder scoffed in response.
"Why else?" his baritone voice drilled into Joseph's head, not so dissimilar from the Voice, yet this was more... cold indifference on the Holder's part. Irritation reeked out of his words, an annoyance that has grown over time from spending the many years, perhaps decades, answering the same questions over and over again.
In the Holder's eyes, Joseph was no different from any other person seeking out the Tarots' wisdom.
Taking Joseph's silence as lacking an answer himself, the Holder explained further, "A possession that was a gift from another is far more valuable to the individual than it would be if they got something for themselves. The level of care one must put in to preserve such gifts, makes it harder to let go."
The Tarot Card Holder's broad shadow encompassed Joseph's body, the shorter man hesitantly looking up to find the Holder had leaned closer to his face. And in the empty chasms of the masks sockets, Joseph spotted the dim glow of inhuman gold irises glowering into his pleading blue.
"So, Prophet. Are you willing to give up her rosary for the sake of your family? Or will you give it up for a stranger's face and name?"
Here's a WIP for The Waters Of Life Flow, my Fallout 3 fic in the A Radioactive Calamity Of Love, Bombs & Gore series. Imagine wanting to find your dad with your best friend but some strange, blindfolded woman hijacks that plan to get you to show her around the Wasteland that you've only set foot on (and can't back out under what may have been a threat of "consequences"... however vague that can be considered a threat). This is still in its early stages of development. Anyway, Alph and Amata walk Marissa "Ress" Bishop to Megaton as seen below:
The heat of the sun simmered down on the trio as two begrudgingly walked in front of one, a situation more likened to a warden keeping watch of her wards rather than two "locals" giving the "newcomer" a tour as their unofficially branded captor insisted.
Alph glanced to Amata, his best friend taking the heat outside the air-conditioned vault as well as he is. He could guess that her jumpsuit was itching against her skin as badly as his own was, the material clinging too close for comfort, the blue clothes damp from sweat.
He chanced a look back to the woman behind them, the glaze of her long platinum blonde hair shining with an ethereal beauty, almost like how he envisioned angels would have from Dad's descriptions.
However, Alph wasn't foolish enough to neglect the memory that this woman was anything but angelic. He saw how she killed those crazed people at the school. While not ungrateful for saving them, forcing both him and Amata to walk her around the area with his old, yet still functional, Pip-Boy was a different story entirely.
Especially since there is practically nothing noteworthy marked on my map, but she wouldn't know that.
Which was true, the two maps on his Pip-Boy only showed the markers that indicated the only Pip-Boy wearers in the vicinity, and the trails had made. The surrounding area around his marker was dark on the map.
Amata helped him mark down the coordinates of their Vault and he had the foresight to mark down the location of both the school and what had once been a neighborhood.
And now we're on our way to "Megaton"... or at least where I hope it is.
Alph snapped out of his thoughts when he heard a curious hum. His focus returned, and he realized that the woman had noticed his gawking, in spite of the fact she was still wearing a blindfold.
When she gave him what he assumed to be a friendly grin, he couldn't help but remember the manic one she wore when she slaughtered their captors. Freaked out by the bloody image, he turned his eyesight straight ahead, focused on maneuvering around the boulders in scattered around them rather than the woman behind them.
He heard her snort behind them, and Amata turned her head slightly to look back at the woman, but paused in the action, and shook her head as she kept forward.
Her face was flushed, dark skin boiling under scorching sun. He wasn't any better, with his lighter skin turning an uncomfortable red. How in the actual fuck is the psycho behind us not dying in those clothes?
Though the better question would be to ask how her pale skin hadn't been burned to a crisp from the flamethrower that mohawk guy blasted at her earlier, but he chalked it up to just defective equipment... for now.
He heard Amata gasp beside him, grasping his arm as she pointed forward.
"I-I think this is it!" she stated aloud, relief and joy flowing out of the laugh she let out. Alph focused forward, really missing his glasses, but through his blurry vision, he could see a mass of metal welded together to form a gate. There was also a robot out the front of it, the corpse of a giant insect full of charred holes only a few feet away from it.
Alph smiled, checked his Pip-Boy, and saw that the predicted coordinates were a match. He almost let out a chuckle.
Until he felt the hand of that woman pat his shoulder, then he soon lost his smile.
"Good job you two," she congratulated them, arms slinging over both their necks, "I knew you'd make perfect guides. Now unless you don't mind burning in daylight, I suggest you get a move on. Capiche?"
And here's six paragraphs for a small Classroom Of The Elite AU fic I've been working on, a little "What If" canon divergent scenario I've come up with. Essentially it boils down to "What if Kiyotaka Ayanokoji was accompanied by Takuya Yagami and Ichika Amasawa to the Advanced Nurturing High School?" as a ploy orchestrated by Atsuomi Ayanokoji to see how the masterpiece can perfect the two fifth generation students to be equal to him and give these two a chance to help Ayanokoji adapt socially. I haven't ironed out the exact details of how this is done, but I mostly wanted to write a fic where Ayanokoji was like an older brother-like figure to both Amasawa and Yagami (...in his own way) and how this would fuck up the plot. Also, my man Yagami needs a win after being done so dirty in the source materials. I will be combining elements from the anime, manga and light novel because I'm insane like that (especially for Yagami and Amasawa). Anyway, here's the six-paragraph introduction:
The bus ride had been uneventful thus far. We passed by Cherry Blossoms and the dwindling city buildings of Tokyo, and as a vehicle of public transport, occasionally pulled up at stops to pick up further passengers; few were casual citizens, most were high-school students.
I fell under the latter; amongst the seated boys and girls wearing white shirts under red blazers with gold trims, though with definite differences in the uniform depending on the student's sex, was myself, standing with one hand on my backpack, the other on the straphanger above me. I involuntarily shook as the bus drove on the road to my new location.
I kept my idle gaze out the bus window, the flurry change of Tokyo's scenery from declining pink to the increase of concrete tempting me the chance to ponder on whether the sociopolitical status of Japan's society met the standards of equality, but I had held off on following that thought, especially with two eyes fleeting glances at me from the seats behind.
I found their staring difficult to ignore, more annoyingly so due to my keen awareness of the fact. I had wanted to remain inconspicuous, but their fidgeting would bring unwanted attention towards me, and on themselves, if they were too frequent. Perhaps not consciously, but subconsciously the rest of the students could become curious or worse, intrigued by my presence if the two continued their prolonged stares.
Though I couldn't exactly fault my kohais; regardless of how ridiculous the notion was, their observation of me was not unfounded. For Ichika Amasawa and Takuya Yagami, I was an enigma, a living legend in their generation. Not only a name, but a title, a successful set of data that they were expected to surpass in the curriculum.
I wasn't so concerned about Amasawa, as her apparent admiration of me likely outweighed any desire to do anything against me. Yagami though... despite his gentle demeanor, I suspected he was hiding his true thoughts of me underneath the surface.
Nothing I could do now; we were all on the same bus, heading into an unknown ocean of variables and outliers. A consequence of Matsuo's kindness upon taking care of the three of us, I suppose.

Three songs for Far Cry The Silver Chronicles, A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore and Life, Despair & Monsters. Also the last song is a song from Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel, which I'm aware isn't fully out yet, so maybe SPOILERS! Avoid the last song if you care enough. Music below:
Nadi Sinclair, a sharpshooter amongst Task Force 141, is forced to go on the run with Soap and Price in the Call To Arms duology after killing Shepard and try their darnedest to put an end to Makarov once and for all (therefore running with the metaphorical wolves after the ultranationalist leader). Though alternatively, this could be after Call To Arms, where she joins up with the Project at Eden's Gate under Alexander Khaos and Jacob Seed's tutelage, where, she literally and figuratively runs with the wolves, away from society's expectations, technology and whatnot. Song below:
youtube
"Trick or treat, what would it be? I walk alone, I'm everything My ears can hear and my mouth can speak My spirit talks, I know my soul believes
But we're running out of time (Time, oh) All the echoes in my mind cry There's blood on your lies The sky's open wide There is nowhere for you to hide The hunter's moon is shining
I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves I'm running with the wolves tonight I'm running with the wolves
A gift, a curse, they track and hurt Say can your dream, in nightmares seems A million voices silent screams Where hope is left so incomplete."
"cardigan" is a specific song that makes me think of Ortega "Ore" Brantley's final moments in The House Always On Top, as he stands in a dam that has an active nuclear warhead nearby, injured beyond belief, with one of his father's most dangerous spellcasters, Aggravor, keeping him in one place with nothing more than one hand touching his back, a fatal touch that would soon kill him whenever Aggravor chooses. And Ore reflects with what little time he has left on his loved ones, his companions, friends, family, mother, sister, the innocents killed by Urias under his watch, even the recent loss of Ryder, the Courier's presence being the cause of why he came to Hoover Dam in the first place if only because he saw a slim chance she survived and had to jump to it before it was too late. He thinks over his regret of not killing his father sooner, of being too late to save others, but also his accomplishments, over the fact his sister, and both of their students, had survived, and Ress had evolved far from the arrogant and immaturely entitled girl she started off as. And with that, when Ress finally enters the room, he makes sure to look upon her with pride, and knowing she won't be needing him anymore, verbally passes the torch to her. He has full confidence that she will end their father's blight even when Aggravor ends his life. This song can also be towards Ress as she loses her big brother, the one constant support in her life, the one person never willing to give up on her no matter how much of an ass she made of herself, the one person she thought she would walk the Earth with forever and ever due to their ageless immortality, so she would never be alone. Her big brother who took the roles of teacher, friend and father all in one, always there to guide and support her want for freedom (unlike Urias, who would have used her as a pawn), always there to say "I'll take it from here" whenever she messed up, whenever she needed help fighting. Which must be why Ore's last words, though reassuring, had hurt so much as well. Song below:
youtube
"To kiss in cars and downtown bars Was all we needed You drew stars around my scars But now I'm bleeding Cause I knew you stepping on the last train Marked me like a bloodstain, I, I knew you Tried to change the ending, Peter losing Wendy I, I knew you Leaving like a father, running like water When you are young they assume you know nothing But I knew you'd linger, like a tattoo kiss I knew you'd haunt all of my what-ifs The smell of smoke would hang around this long Cause I knew everything when I was young I knew I'd curse you for the longest time Chasing shadows in the grocery line I knew you'd miss me once the thrill expired And you'd be standing in my front porch light And I knew you'd come back to me You'd come back to me. And you'd come back to me. And you'd come back."
In The Thorned Crown of Iron Thrones, much like canon, Aegon II Targaryen isn't a good brother, nor is he a first son to be proud of (as evident by his father's absolute indifference with him and his mother's disappointment), even less a candidate to be a king of all things (sometimes he was thankful it was his half-sister who would sit the Iron Throne, though he knew that meant him and his younger siblings would be put to the sword, which was the only downside). He knew this to be true, everyone knew, even his own grandsire recognized more potential in Aemond even after his younger brother lost his eye. After the funeral of their older cousin Laena, after Aemond lost an eye to their half-sister's children for claiming a dragon which their deceased cousin had ridden on, after the arguments and screaming between everyone on both sides, for justice, for blood, for punishment, for some shred of care from the man who conceived them. And especially after hearing Corvus, the only older sibling that treated Aegon, his brothers, his sister, and his mother with more decency and kindness than their apathetic father and scornful half-sister (despite Corvus conviction to continue helping his adopted sister keep her claim), break down when father revealed the most damning and life-shattering secret about his "adopted" son (thanks Dad), Aegon couldn't handle it. Couldn't handle the shame, disappointment and hopelessness of the situation, so that night, he ran off. He ended up running off into Driftmark's woods, hoping that, maybe if he disappeared, everything would get better, that his half-sister that his father doted on more than Aegon and his siblings, or his younger brother who would do mother and his grandsire proud, or even their recently discovered half-brother, as merciful and decisive as he is (though Aegon highly doubted either father nor grandsire would allow it to happen), would sit the dreadful throne, be the ruler people wanted. Hell, he would even have Cecil to sit the throne, if it meant the self-proclaimed Royce woman would send her father, his terrifying uncle, to the Wall and marry off his siblings to noble houses willing to care for them. Not him. He wished to be forgotten, to curl up and shrink and shrink until he couldn't be seen anymore. He had not intended of coming across an ex-assassin woman who called herself Okkotsu, who had tried to murder his father back in the day and had a special connection with the recently deceased Laena. Nor had he foreseen them connecting with their troubles, through such unorthodox means. Okkotsu may not know what Aegon is exactly going through, but she knows enough to help lift his spirits up... through the power of accepting yourself as a sopping wet sad little meow-meow blorbo? Song below:

[I'm not going to include all the lyrics, just the ones I find matter to these two downtrodden losers. Also LOTS-OH cursing here]
"So things look bad, and you're backs against the wall Your whole existence seems fuckin' hopeless You're feeling filthy as a dive bar bathroom stall Can't face the world sober and dopeless You've lost your way, you think your life is wrecked Well, let me just say you're correct!"
"Wait what?"
"You're a loser, baby A loser, goddamn baby You're a fucked-up little whiny bitch."
"Hey!"
"You're a loser just like me."
...
"This supposed to make me feel better?"
"There was a time I thought that no one could relate To the gruesome ways in which I'm damaged But lettin' walls down, it can sometimes set you straight! We're all living in the same shit sandwich."
...
"I'm a loser, honey A schmoozer and a dummy But at least I know I'm not alone."
"You're a loser."
"Just like me."
...
"I'm trapped and it gets worse with every hour."
"You're a loser, baby."

What's at your OC's core? Quiz

You can find the quiz here. Results below.
Joaquin Cobalt (The UnTitledverse)
Tumblr media
Honestly this describes Joaquin's core character almost perfectly. Due to being classified as a Balancer, the multiverse unfortunately revolves around him, even when he'd rather it not. Though his status of "supposed to be non-existent" also means the multiverse is trying to "correct" its mistake and get rid of him. Joaquin doesn't even know he's running from his past opposition as he didn't think he had much of a past to begin with, so yeah, he is at a disadvantage. Though there's nothing here about his protection over his friend nor his lack of mercy over his enemies, which is slightly disappointing.
Silva Omar (Far Cry The Silver Chronicles)
Tumblr media
Geez... this result actually holds a lot more merit to it than I expected. Silva is a mentor in a way, and becomes a more personal one to Azriel and Mercy. Her whole arc is about whether she'll continue her brutality and black-and-white view on the world or soften up and find the grey in the middle, understand it better. Show some mercy to those who deserve it. There's also the "reincarnation" thing... becoming smarter and quicker as each life resets. In a way that's how the Third Eye works... while Silva doesn't entirely know it, in each world she is "reborn" in, her Third Eye installs subconscious memories of her past lives to make her instincts quicker.
Haoyu Anabuki (Life, Despair & Monsters)
Tumblr media
The problem with Haoyu is that they were solely focused on finding their long-lost half-sister they only focus on that one goal and ignore everything else. Well... at least they try to, but the guilt of not helping others when they have the power to do so pushes them to go on ahead and do just that. Haoyu has seen so much general and cosmic horror for someone who really should be in, like, university at that point.
Marissa "Ress" Bishop (A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore, a Fallout fanfic series)
Tumblr media
It's not that Ress isn't genuine in her emotions. Not at all... in fact that's mostly thanks to her half-human side. However, she has extreme difficulty with understanding emotions and extending that kind of support to others. She's also extremely powerful thanks to the magic on her non-human side. It also sucks that the first people she connected with (Amata and the Lone Wanderer) were the first people she cared for that died. She closes herself off to other companions, and becomes more distant with each new loss (her brother, mother, Charon, Raul, Christine, etc) . Eventually by the events of Fallout 4 she comes across as a bit of an asshole, and thinks every negative thing about herself is well deserved.
Crawford Klaus (The UnTitledverse and Far Cry The Silver Chronicles)
Tumblr media
A self-absorbed and careless pharmaceutical tycoon, Crawford would sell out anyone just to save his own skin and keep the status quo of him in power at peace. Even if it means drugging a British town stuck in a 1940s mindset and might be a cult, to test out knew strains of medicine and whatnot even if those people die in the process. Alexander Khaos hates this man with a burning passion, and is regretful he didn't kill the dick when he had the chance. How pleasantly unfortunate that Mr. Klaus gets the attention of the ICA and the ire of the infamous hitmen; Agent 47 and "the Cleaner" aka Albert Paczkowski.

The True Sinners & The House Always Wins?
Ask and you shall receive @carlosoliveiraa!
The House Always Wins is a Fallout New Vegas fic and part of my Fallout series A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore. Here's what I have so far... It takes place a few years after the events of The Waters Of Life Flow (the FO3 fic), and half-human/half-dimensional creature hybrid siblings Ortega "Ore" Brantley and Marissa "Ress" Bishop have been tipped off about atypical activities happening in the Mojave, not dissimilar from the Occult's activities their despicable father, Arcane Urias, lead in the Capital Wasteland and California. Seeing this as an opportunity to put a stop to the Occult and avenge their friends and Urias' victims. However, this is put on hold when they encounter a securitron with a cowboy's face dragging an unconscious Courier through the scorching desert. With no place better to start searching for clues, they help get the Courier, a veteran Wasteland woman named Ryder, to Goodsprings.
Now I don't have any snippets prepared for you, but I can share that Ress and Ore split off to cover more ground; Ore will accompany Ryder to track down Benny, retrieve the Platinum Chip, speak with Mr House, get wrapped up in dealing with the Legion, and win Hoover Dam for House (plus attain any companions along the way) while Ress goes off to track down the Occult by doing the thing she loves most; intimidating the shit out of the locals in the communities she visits, killing people she doesn't like the faces of, bullying the elderly, get wrapped up in doing the NCR's bidding, almost die, then working alongside Yes Man for an Independent Vegas (plus pressuring any companions she meets into following her). All the while Urias second-in-command, Aggravor, chills in the Divide while coordinating efforts to place a warhead into the dam. If only the pesky courier with the mask and long speeches of "something, something, bull, bear" would let him get the location of the remote that originally set off the Divide.
Now The True Sinners is a FC5 fic where it takes place in an alternative setting of Far Cry The Silver Chronicles where Silva Omar's grief still remained long enough to dissuade her from becoming a deputy of the Hope County Sheriff's Department. Without a "muse", especially one chosen by the Voice itself, the Seals can't be opened, and the Collapse can't occur, and the Voice is livid that its muse has decided to opt out. Instead of wasting time in choosing another poor sap (especially since it has history with this one), the Voice instead just re-contextualizes the muse's purpose to Joseph, leading to the Seed Family kidnapping Silva in the dead of night so she can be present for the arrest and still break the First Seal (by technicality). Silva has to balance helping the Resistance from the inside and getting into the Seeds' good graces without sacrificing her morals and values in the process. In the meantime, Silva's (personal? family?) doctor, Kamski Neon, ends up helping to lead the Resistance to rescue the only other person he knew from the Archipelagos, and while great at organization and treating wounds, he is not very popular amongst the locals. Case in point, the snippet below:
Kamski entered the bar, moving ahead to the nearest stool, leaving Armstrong to her own devices outside. He was not unaware of the gazes that were set on him, eyes watching as he steadily sat himself in front of the bar's counter.
Like buitres, Kamski couldn't help but compare the locals to the scavengers. He disliked the bird, more than the eagles that dived at him when he took Silva's invitation into the county, but he understood their importance, despite the little pragmatism they held.
He brought a flask out of his satchel, unlatching the lid to take a swig. He took another swig as soon as he spotted the Pastor making his way toward him.
"Why?"
Kamski lazily glanced to Jeffries, spotting Fairgrave leaning against the wall next to the stairway, watching the confrontation like most of her patrons.
The Good Doctor sighed, scratching at his sideburns, the red in his hair slowly on it's way to becoming white, and asked his own question, "What is the meaning behind this "why", Pastor?"
Kamski took another swig, but found no bitterness reaching his tongue. Upon further inspecting the flask, shaking it about with no signature swish nor swirl, Kamski was disappointed that he'd be dealing with this conversation on a sober mind.
Jeffries took a breath, but his frustration made its way to the tone of his voice, "Why did you kill that man?"
Kamski raised a brow at the Pastor, "You mean the Peggie?"
"A former Peggie. A defector. One who would have exchanged information on John's supply chains, coordination of future attacks, and his next baptisms," Jeffries emphasized, "And you executed him."
Kamski blinked at the Pastor, giving a shrug, "Your point?"
As the old doctor shifted to slide off the stool, Jeffries grasped his shoulder, grounding out his next words with a solemner tone, "Even if it meant losing information regarding Silva's current captivity."
Kamski growled at him, shoving the arm off his shoulder, "I didn't just kill the Peggie. I got information out of him before I gave him what he deserved. It would have been counterproductive to not retrieve whatever information he held, just as it would have been for going through with the escort."
He pulled out a note and slammed it onto the counter.
"Here's all he had. None of it included Silva, by name nor description," Kamski stated.
Kamski made to move but Jeffries stated, "You still killed a man who wanted to change. A way out."
The Good Doctor scoffed, shaking his head at the Pastor's words. He doesn't understand. None of them would. These peggies don't get the right to attempt a vain ploy to change. Not after all they've done. All they do nothing about. It just makes it easier for them to stab us in the back.
He dragged his hand over his face, a fingers rubbing against the scar that crosses the ridge of his nose. His thumb traced the the cut that crossed his bottom lip down to his chin, a reminder that fueled his next response.
"Then he should have never listened to the words of that Profeta," Kamski replied, making his way towards the exit of the bar, ignoring the deep sigh behind him.
"Armstrong," Kamski greeted the sharpshooter at the porch, who only gave a grunt in acknowledgement as she tended to her rifle, "You know where the Jailhouse is?"
Armstrong stopped wiping the barrel, looking up to the doctor, "My pops drove past it sometimes when he was running errands for some old war friends of his. Hard to miss."
"Excellent," Kamski smirked, turning towards the sedan limousine he stole, "Because I'm going to need directions."

Fallout 4 is a part of my adolescence so I would like to know more about your story A Symbol For A Better World 😊 a snippet or an anecdote, whatever you want 🤗
I unfortunately do not have a snippet, but I can sure talk a little about it @cassietrn!
So A Symbol For A Better World is a fic of Fallout 4 (obviously) and the final installation of A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore. It takes place some years after The House Always Wins (FONV fic) and a decade after The Waters Of Life Flow (FO3 fic). It's still in its early stages, but so far what I got is this; Marissa Bishop, or "Ress" as she liked to be called by her brother until he died, is a half-human, half-dimensional creature, that has traveled from California to the Capital Wasteland, to the Mojave, and all the way down to the Commonwealth, where she knows her father, Arcane Urias, and the Occult he founded are beginning their next step in their master plan; the resurrection of the Mad God of Carnage, Discord. With the few allies she has left out in other parts of the Wasteland, she goes on the hunt for him alone, though she stumbles into the Sole Survivor of Vault 111; Nate Gust Sarid, recent widow but still a father looking for his son. Taking pity on him, she does her best to lead him to the only group she trusts to be safe; the Minutemen... who are in a bit of a pickle, so both help them out. Ress is very reluctant with sticking around, but is persuaded by Preston Garvey and Nate to lend a magical hand, in exchange of directing any information on the Occult to her. She and Nate go explore the Commonwealth together, kissing faces, earning names and kicking ass, and collecting a bunch of weirdos and outcasts that Ress can help train to at least survive against her father (she learnt the hard way in the FO3 fic that mortals are pretty weak against Urias, and the FONV crew got off lucky facing Aggravor), while getting in a four-way conflicting between the Minutemen, the Railroad, the most xenophobic chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel she's disappointed to see, and lastly the damn Institute. Meanwhile the Occult benefits off the distraction the war brings as Urias prepares his final moves against his remaining child and humanity as a whole.
I would like to say more, but it's still in early development, and I'm hoping the final product can give justice.

If you're taking the WIP Folder asks, I would love to hear about A Symbol For A Better World!
Sure thing!
A Symbol For A Better World is the sixth and final installation to my Fallout fic series A Radioactive Calamity Of Love, Bombs & Gore, taking place during the events of Fallout 4.
The fic stars Nate Gust Sarid, my Sole Survivor OC, and my other OC, Marissa "Ress" Bishop; they encounter each other in the Commonwealth, with Nate searching for his son Shaun, who had been taken by Conrad Kellog and the Institute, while Ress is hunting down the two leading heads of "the Occult"; the founder and her father, Arcane Urias, and his right hand, Aggravor, whom had killed her brother in The House At The Top (Fallout New Vegas fic). Both Nate and Ress work alongside the Minutemen and the Railroad (as well as a strained partnership with Maxson's Chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel) to find both groups and eliminate them, as well as retrieve Shaun. Nate is under the belief that the Institute holds Shaun to indoctrinate him to be apart of their callous cult, while Ress believes that Urias is planning on sacrificing Nate to bring back the Mad Kin of Carnage, Discord, just as he'd done with previous allies that both she and her brother had known (that being the previous Fallout protagonists; Elrand, Finidy, Alph and Ryder, though neither were old enough/alive yet to meet Vega). However, neither Nate and Ress could be farther from the truth.
Not to mention how neither could have expected the carefully crafted orchestration the Institute had over Nate's life, nor the meticulous infiltration of the Occult within the Commonwealth, especially when more threats are being rallied on both Far Harbor and Nuka-World.
As the fate of the Commonwealth is on the brink of destruction, allies and companions must come together now more than ever to put down the threats that hinder a future for a better world in the Wasteland.
This fic is till under heavy construction, and I don't have anything more else to share as of now, but I do have a solid idea where I want to take this finale to A Radioactive Calamity Of Love, Bombs, & Gore.

Fallout characters react to Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged (or at least their variants in it)
Was inspired by AO3 user StrykerKitsune with their fic "Miraculous watching Hellsing Abridged with a twist" and their hilarious (and kind of chilling) interpretation of the cast of Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir watching Hellsing Abridged by TeamFourStar but instead of the main Hellsing cast its replaced with variants of the Miraculous cast who are watching it (So instead of Alucard, Seras, Integra and Bernadotte, they were variations of Luka, Marinette, Kagami and Adrien respectively). The funniest and unique react fic I've read so far (considering instead of watching Miraculous, that cast watched themselves play the role of the Hellsing Abridged cast) and I'd advise you give it a read if you want to burst in tears.
Anyway, thinking about that today gave me a surge of inspiration to write a react fic... but with (most) of the Fallout cast watching variants of themselves playing the roles of the main cast in The Schmuck Squad's Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged.
Solemn and sometimes fun seriousness watches pure absurd crack.
This will include characters from Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4 and maybe Fallout 76 while we're at it.
Now as for the characterization of the Vault Dweller, the Chosen One, the Lone Wanderer, the Courier, the Sole Survivor and the Resident, they will be based on my Fallout OCs:
Elrand Brandt (Vault Dweller), Finidy Mona (Chosen One), Alph Dolen (Lone Wanderer), Ryder (Courier), Nate Gust Sarid (Sole Survivor) and Vega (Resident). None of my other OCs (e.g. Ortega "Ore" Brantley, Marissa "Ress" Bishop, Arcane Urias, Mathias "Mason" Talos, Aggravor, etc) from A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore will be included, as this is purely for Fallout. I will be posting my Fallout OCs' character sheets (?) from now to whenever, before the polls of course.
The "watchers/reactors" will mostly comprise of the Fallout protagonists (who will be my OCs to avoid vague personality conflicts plus other things with a mostly voiceless and customizable character), their companions, story-relevant leaders, one or two DLC relevant characters and whoever else I personally think should be there. None of them will include antagonists (unless the antagonist/immoral figure is a companion or story-relevant, like Myron, Dean Domino, Ulysses, Strong, X6-88, Porter Gage, etc).
However, on the "Abridged Variants" side, characters will be chosen through polls that I'm gonna be posting either everyday or every week depending on how I feel. These polls will discern which Fallout character plays the abridged version of the Jujutsu Kaisen cast, and I will be presenting options I personally believe could do some good but also an optional "name a character in the tags" (and if it's a Fallout protagonist, just call them by their titles if you can't remember my OCs' names). This will include protagonists and antagonists. Now the size of the variant characters will only be as large or as important as those that significantly appear in the abridged version, not the source material (so Junpei's teacher, his most minor bullies, the unnamed student who interupts Itadori's "spooky little flip-flop grilled cheese bullshit club", etc won't be casted as variants).
I'll also find an OC to host this little reaction because why not, you know?
Anyway, to summarize: Gonna make a "Fallout characters watch/react to their variants in Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged", will include characters from most, if not, all of the Fallout games, characterization of the Fallout protagonists will be based on the OCs I have for them, will not include the mystical OCs from A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore, character sheets for the former OCs will be posted before the polls, said polls will indicate which characters become a Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged variant (and the time period of the polls vary depending on character importance), watchers/reactors only include protagonists and characters of importance and will not include antagonists (excluding amoral/immoral companions or story relevant non-companions like Ulysses), but variants will include both protagonists and antagonists. Extremely minor characters or unnamed characters won't be casted and lastly an OC of mine will be the host of the reaction fic.
Hope this made sense. Will be posting OC Fallout sheets first and then the polls.
