Cyrzan: Loves weaving and other textile based crafts. Especially loves winding hand-made beads into the things he weaves. Makes stories with tapestries, scarves, blankets, etc. Wove the pack he carries with him when he leaves on his journey as Dovahkiin. Loves telling and hearing stories and that's part of the reason he can accept traveling above ground as easily as he does: he thinks of all the people he can meet and the stories told in other hives and can't wait to expand his world.

Kili: A Master alchemist with a deep love for plants; works tirelessly to find new abd better ways to cultivate them in the Hive. Loves singing and has a beautiful voice, sings love songs to his husband while they work together and uses song while he works to keep track of time and to incorporate intention into his creations (much like how old recipes will have you recite prayers both as a blessing, and as a form of keeping time before timers were used). Incredibly playful and great with kids as he's always a kid at heart. As an adult almost always has a child or two hanging out in his hut either assisting him or just hanging out but never has children of his own.

Tiika: An elder that everyone knows as grandfather. A mushroom farmer that loves his work and always has dirt under his nails. Gives the best hugs and makes the most delicious and comforting creamy mushroom soup you'll ever have. Loves hearing people tell them about their days or the things they like, will always strike up conversations with passers-by. Has a knack for making everyone feel Heard. He's afraid of water bc he never learned how to swim; getting wet is a sensory issue for him so he never learned. As a result has the most efficient bathtime routine out of all my OCs.

🎁 - What kind of gift-giver are they? Do they give thoughtful gifts? Expensive gifts? Practical gifts?

Sina: She gives very thoughtful and heartfelt gifts. Usually hand made by her, they will be something the receiver will find dear to them in some way or another. For some this means something very practical (new pair of winter boots for a traveler, a bow for a hunter, etc.) and for others this may mean something more lavish (a fancy necklace, or maybe a decorative sword). Sina may not get you many gifts for your birthday, but the gift she gets you will be something she knows that you will love and treasure for many years.

Vyrthaal: Vyr gives very heartfelt gifts. Also normally hand made (but not always), but not always practical. They will usually be related to something very important to the receiver. He also loves cooking, so on your birthday or another special, gift-giving occasion it is very likely Vyrthaal will show up with your most favorite dish, made exactly to your taste!

Kili: Kili prides himself on his alchemical mastery; you will find from him an incredibly powerful potion. It will be something very useful to you, and normally with thorough instructions on how to replicate it (hand-written by Vyrthaal or Serana). Healing potions for fighters, stamina potions for those who do a lot of traveling, stealth potions for Thieves or hunters, you name it! Whatever you do, there's a potion for it and Kili Will brew the perfect one for you.

Jo'safiir: The Arch Mage's somewhat-secret favorite hobby is knitting! From Jo'safiir you can expect any number of hand knitted items: gloves, hats, scarves, sweaters, you name it! They won't be very secret gifts however; he needs your measurements for garments and for everything he makes he'd need to make sure it wouldn't be a sensory nightmare for you, even if it's a decorative blanket to drape over the couch you never use. And like Vyrthaal he loves making food, so you're also likely to get a nice bit of home cooked food to go with it!

Sethsa: While the favor of a Demiprince (and in turn, the favor of Nocturnal) is a gift enough for many, Sethsa will give you a personal good luck charm! Always enchanted to keep the one they're made for silent and hidden, they all look like random, often useless items. A bit of scrap metal, a random pebble, you name it! These items wouldn't be something that would be picked out of your pocket and the eyes of a thief rifling through your belongings will slide right off them, but rest assured they're very powerful.

Tiika: While your Grandfather Tiika may not have many fancy materials or abilities at hand, a very common and well-loved Falmer gift is a hand woven basket! Made to be durable and last a lifetime, Tiika excels at weaving these and you can absolutely expect one of these lovely baskets from him. Each one is made with love, and represents his willingness to support and help you in any way he can any time you need it. If he knows your birthday is coming up (and he keeps track of all his grandchildrens' birthdays) he'll be certain to set aside his best mushrooms for you, or stop by with some freshly-cooked stew!

Hjorvar: Hjorvar is far from sentimental, and doesn't lead a very glamorous life, so gifts from him may be few and far between. But in his adventures he stumbles across many unique and interesting things, one of which will be sure to catch your eye. Often they're little more than pretty trinkets, but they're a clear sign that he cares for you--thus, he will protect you and come to your aid when needed. And who doesn't want a big beefy hairy Nordic werewolf to be your ride or die?

Daronan: Much like his husband, Daro isn't the Best at being sentimental and soft. But he IS Very good at practical. Whoever you are, whatever your profession or hobbies, he will be sure to make or find you something that will be well loved and well used. A skilled craftsman it's very likely his gift to you will be hand made, but if it isn't by him it would likely have been made by another member of is family if it's not something he is skilled in. And if you're a meat-eater, you get the added bonus of him getting you the best, juiciest, and tastiest cuts of meat from his most recent hunting trip!

Would my Skyrim OCs play Skyrim (and if yes, how would they enjoy it)?

Vyrthaal: Yes. Installs goofy goober ass mods like the one that turns Dragons into the state of Ohio. Also does incredible archery kill cams , would have compilations of them on their youtube. Also sees how far he can noclip into mountains, how much bullshit he can spawn in before his save file is unusable, etc.

Kili: No, he's too busy playing his 80,000th hour of Stardew Valley.

Jo'safiir: Would play it for a little while but be bored by the magic options. Probably would play Morrowind tho he seems like he'd enjoy it when he isn't playing Minecraft

Cyrzaan: Probably not, but that's because he wouldn't be much of a gamer. If he did tho he'd do what I did and get himself overencumbered by flowers as soon as he leaves Helgen.

Tiika: No but knows a lot about it from his grandkids lol. Sits in the room w/them while they play and actually interacts w/them about it. Like he'd ask them abt what they like to do and their OCs and stuff. Hand makes cosplays for them n stuff, that type of guy. But also "forgets" names of characters/uses names of ither characters to playfully annoy everyone lol. "Now thats Freddy Fazbear right? *pointing to Paarthurnax*"

Sina: I thonk she would like it but she'd only pick it up once in a blue moon and only play for like 3 hours at most. BUT she's played thru all the quests it's just taken her a million years lol

Adelle: Maybe?? She'd install mods that let u accept yields from opponents tho and try to kill as little as possible. Gets SO excited when she finds out you can cook and then cooks so many meals. Alchemy 100 of course; she's spent hundreds of hours making insane fuck potions from hell: potions that r worth millions and do insane shit like make you glow and increase magica regen for 10293110485 seconds while poisoning ur magica. Idk.

Vulon: that's my self insert so yea. Has so many ocs with convoluted ass backstories that r all linked. Makes new saves all the time so it can replay the same 3 quests over and over

Sethsa: Yes. Stealth 100 fights only with daggers and backstabbing. Has the Ebony Mail its the only armor she likes but she matches it w the rest of the Ebony armor. Has one character and they'd be level six billion with fucked up leveled enchantments she got thru exploits. Also. No mods no console commands she's a vanilla bitch and PRETENTIOUS about it.

Varla: also me so yeas but only when he's high and accidentally sells all his good armor bc he wants money and then gets so confused as to wear his armor is even he boots the game up while sober. Also has an insane organization system that makes ZERO sense to anyone but him and it utilizes every container in Breezehome And Lydia's bed (he killed Lydia the first time she obstructed him and her corpse is just kinda In His House Now).

For Vulon: I really just wanted a "proper" self insert for Skyrim. The main thing I wanted to do with it originally was have it be Mora's Champion, and take inspiration from my memories as Miraak.

For Varla: I wanted a snelf insert! And with Vulon having changed so much, he is essentially doin whay I wanted with it, but with a less depressing backstory.

For Vyrthaal: The Dawnguard questline was my inspiration for him, and the first thing I decided was that he and Gelebor would sort of have a master and student relationship, but that sort of fell apart shortly after I started developing Vyr.

For Kili: My inspiration for Kili was the falmer city in the Forgotton Vale. I thought there was a whole awesome community and culture to be explored that the game just treated like shit. The first thing I decided for him was that he and Vyrthaal would meet and become friends.

For Sina: I didn't have a whole lot of inspiration for her, i just wanted to have a character that lived through the fall of the ancient snow elves and here she was. The first thing I decided for her was that she was a (former) Knight-Paladin of Auri-El. The second thing decided about her was she was Marzog's wife :3

For Tiika: I just really wanted a sweet Falmer Grandpa tbh !! The first thing I decided about him is that he lives in the Forgotten Vale. He's based a little on my memories as a Falmer.

For Jo'safiir: My inspiration for him was a random book abt Khajiit I picked up and read in my very first playthrough of the game! And the first thing I decided about him was that he would be a Champion of Meridia XD

For Sethsa: I wanted to make a throwaway save file to do quests I wasn't that interested in at the time, because I was like Devoted to roleplaying at this point. Then I got attached to her. The first thing I decided about her was she was going to be A ripoff of the Bye Bye Man

Tiika is referred to as Grandfather of Grandpa by most of his hive, not only because he's one of the oldest elders, but because he has a kind and warm heart filled with love for everyone he meets. Whenever a child is moody or having a bad day their parents will often send them to grandfather. Even if he's working he will always take time to sit with them, find out whats wrong, and help them cheer up. Sometimes it's just sitting in silence, sometimes it's gathering mushrooms together, and sometimes it's him just holding them until they feel better. No matter what he's doing he always makes time for people who need a loving presence right then :')

Quick sketch of another Falmer OC I’m working on! His name is Tiika and his clan lives in the Forgotten Vale. He farms mushrooms and isn’t much of a fighter, however his clan is attacked by a group of feral Falmer and are forced to flee their home. I’m not entirely sure where to go from there, but he’s got nice calm dad energy, and is terrified of being Outside(tm) (for valid reasons).

Gelebor mentions an increase in Falmer intelligence and I believe that the increase is most noticeable in and near the Forgotten Vale just because it’s where one of the most important places to the Snow Elves, and had the strongest influence of Auri-El.....or Something like that, lmao. So my headcanon is that the Falmer living there already have a thriving community (relatively speaking).

45) What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?

Jo’safiir would know his soul would go back to Akatosh, but a small but growing part of him fears that Hermaeus Mora somehow would have a strong enough grasp on his soul that he would be dragged into Apocrypha. He certainly hopes he’ll rejoin Akatosh, or go anywhere but back to Apocrypha.

Vyrthaal believes (or rather hopes) that he will join orcs and followers of Malacath in the Ashen Forge. I know that snow elves probably have their own beliefs for where they go when they die, but Vyr was mostly raised by orcs and considers them his family. He looks forward to it, and is determined to die a good death in a couple hundred years or so.

Sina knows that her soul will rejoin Akatosh as well, but she genuinely wishes that she’d be able to join her wife Marzog and Vyr in the Ashen Forge, or even reunite with her deceased found family in Sovngarde. It makes her sad to think about.

Kili and Tiika probably have their own Falmeri beliefs, but to be honest I haven’t had much time to develop any headcanons on that, so I’m genuinely not sure! Kili would be scared it would mean leaving Vyrthaal, but I’m sure Tiika would be happy with his fate. Though I am sorta toying with the idea that Tiika is a Dragonborn, it’s mostly for Funny Jokes and probably won’t actually be part of his canon.

Daronan believes he will travel to the Hunting Grounds in his death as a follower of Hircine, though later in his life he begins feeling sad that it would likely means he wouldn’t see some of his friends and loved ones (like Sybilla and Chal, two of my beef’s OCs) then.

Gorbek believes he will be taken to the Ashpit where he’ll suffer for being considered a weak orc, and grows more and more terrified of it the older he gets. 

Bonus: Serene knows he’ll return to serve Mehrunes Dagon once Jo’safiir dies and their bond is severed (or that he can return if they find a way to safely sever it without Jo’safiir dying), but as he and Jo’safiir grow closer a small part of him that he struggles to crush feels sad that he won’t ever see that horrible cat once he dies.

🍼 Does your OC have any children or want children? What names would they pick? Are they good with kids or a complete disaster?

Jo'safiir: In my original plans for him I did have him adopt a few kids, Lucia and Sophie I think?? But now with where his story has gone I don't know if he Would. He'd certainly do what he can to ensure orphaned children are Actually taken care of, providing money (and food!) and trying to make sure they have safe homes. But unfortunately the College isn't a very safe place to raise children :( He would love to have kids one day, and Miraak shares this feeling. The two are Definitely very fatherly towards any of their students who need or want that, too!!

Jo'safiir is GREAT with kids tho! He's taken care of his younger nieces and nephews before so he knows what he's doing and how to actually take care of kids n make sure they're safe little beans, and he's a very warm and friendly guy when he's not actively being scary! He's also good at making them laugh :3 Big Dad Energy.

💐 Does your OC like flowers? What are their favourites? Do they keep a garden of some sort? What flowers would they use in a flower crown? (and if you like, research the meanings behind those flowers!)

Tiika: He loves flowers! Obviously he can't see them, so he admires them for their smells, shapes, and textures. He likes flowers with large petals the best, and ones that smell very sweet :) He doesn't keep a garden but whenever he leaves the cave he makes sure to pick a few gleamblossoms from outside ! I think in a flower crown he would use smaller flowers and things like lavender that have a very strong scent uwu (also lavender is a comforting scent, especially for me, so I think it fits with him being a soft and loving guy🧡)

Hmmmm I think he’d be pretty good about keeping his money--he’s not the sort to spend his money on Dumb Shit, and he also makes as many of his necessities as he can. In terms of bartering though, he’d suck a little bit! Unless it was with another Forsworn, but I feel like they’d all be a little more chillk with each other abt things like that.

List of my OCs:

Jo'safiir, a Khajiit mage (but wait, there's more!), and Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold. Learns he's the child of Hermaeus Mora after spending months in Apocrypha. Big fucking nerd. As he grows older he eventually tasked up his role as a Demi Prince and takes control of his own portion of Apopcrypha, the Forbidden Archives. A place where all manner of ancient, lost, and of cours forbidden magic can be found, studied, and practiced. Still thrives on the Power Of Friendship (and has “stolen” his husband Miraak and made him his “Champion” to spite his Father).

Serene, Jo'safiir's Dremora that he "stole" from Mehrunes Dagon. Big piece of shit, loves causing trouble. Later servers Jo'safiir when he takes his own mini plane of Oblivion within Apocrypha. Mellows out a bit, but if he catches you alone in the Archives with the Arch Mage nowhere to be found, you may not return to Mundus alive...

Vyrthaal, a snow elf child preserved for thousands of years. Not only was he gifted Aurie-El's Bow by Akatosh himself, he was then given the soul of a Dragon to help defeat Lord Harkon. BFFs with Serana and largely ignored by the prophecy of the Last Dragonborn. Loves ska.

Sinarwyn Ice-Blade, a snow elf and former Knight-Paladin of Auri-El, given the name “Ice Blade" from a found family. Adopts Vyrthaal after meeting his other adoptive mom, Marzog. Helps him and Serana find Auri-El’s Bow and fight off Lord Harkon’s Army before deciding to stay with Gelebor at the Chantry for a while, reuniting with her long lost friend.

Kill, a young Falmer that Vyrthaal eventually meets and who travels with him and his moms. A very talented cook and alchemist! Helps translate many times when the group wanders into various Falmer Caves.

Tiika, a kind mushroom farmer and elder of a Falmer clan in the Forgotten Vale. Assists Vyrthaal and co. to the Chantry after they help fight off the feral Falmer that attacked his clan. He’s a loving father figure and caretaker for any young Falmer born in the Vale.

Niralek, a Spriggan who once lived in the Riften woods before her home was overtaken by vampires hunting for the Redwater spring. Unable to fend them off she reluctantly offered her aid to the Dawnguard, where she made unlikely friends with Pelaril, an Altmer, and Isran. Returns to her home after Harkon's defeat but remains friends with the Dawnguard, who still call for her aid at times. She always readily gives it to her friends.

Gorbek, an Orsimer Priest of Kynareth who works in Whiterun after being exiled from his stronghold. Also known as one of the best cooks in the Hold, a title he bears with pride. He's so big because he's filled with love. A bit of a “filler character” to give Whiterun more life (and me an excuse to make a big soft Orc Dad OC) but I love him so much. 

Daronan, a Forsworn Breton. Hircine's champion, and gifted with Lycanthropy by the Daedric Lord himself. Apprenticed as a healer to his mother until he decided to travel Skyrim for a little while, where he meets and befriends a Nord named Sybilla. He’s very quiet and surprisingly gentle, but is also the sort to playfully wrestle or spar with his close friends at a moment’s notice. 

Sethsa: A blind Dunmer woman and daughter of Nocturnal, she is the Demi Prince of fear and is rumored to be summoned by utering her name. Feared through the Thieves Guild for her cunning, cruel streak, and prowess as a conjuration and illusion mage. Aided by a daedra known as Deathcry who commonly takes the form of a massive hound made of gore. Her only known friend is Chal, a Dwemer, and she bears a grudge against Clavicus Vile. 

Deathcry: Sethsa's mysterious companion and service "dog." Really spooky but loves kids and belly rubs. Often gets "treats" of fingers from Sethsa's...erm....friends.

Hjorvar: A Nord, and member of the inner Circle of the Companions. Makes an unlikely friendship with Daro thru their mutual friend Sybilla. Gets flustered easily. Would die for his family. He’s the sort of man that looks terrifying at first glance, but as son as he opens his mouth you realize “Oh, this is just a walking teddy bear.” He of course is still a strong and capable warrior, but when he doesn’t have to fight he’s the most gentle giant you’ll meet (besides Gorbek).

Illorna: Altmer Demi Prince of Meridia who came to Nirn to aid the Dawnguard in fighting Lord Harkon. Decides mortals are more than just tools for Daedra to control and sticks around after Harkon is defeated after growing close to several of them. I still like her but I don’t know if I actually want this to be her story or nah. SHe’s fun tho!

Studies-by-Moonlight: An Argonian scholar who's primary focus was formerly the Dwemer, until she began to study the Falmer. Deciding to dedicate her work to helping them fix the damage caused to them by the Dwemer. It takes years for her to build trust with one of the Falmer Clans but she becomes recognized as a safe person and spends a great deal of time studying Falmer society. Eventually just sort of....hanging out in Blackreach for the most part.
