As one of the oldest being that exists in this land,Philemon was borned from the hope in the masses' heart.He ruled the land with hope,those pure minded creatures lived happily without any worries.

But one day,there's an alien — Planet Eater bumped in to the land.Of course,Philemon standed out to protect the land from the crash with his magic.Gladly,the land was safe although he was injured.

Even so,there's shadow rampaged everywhere in the land due to that crash.Which had caused those pure minded creatures start to having dark desires that lead to Nyalarthotep's appearance.

He and Nyalar,they symbols the total opposite of the complex collective subconscious.In order to fight Nyalar,Philemon granted a special power that called "Persona" to the anyone that played the Persona Game.Also,he was the one that created Velvet Room to ease his work.

Philemon's power was keep going low and low since he haven't recovered from blocking the Planet Eater to ruin the land,Nyalarthotep is keep stirring and try to defeat him,creating the whole velvet room,granting Persona.

And what's the two most important factor that caused him goes nearly disappear?

Is to recreate the whole Innocent Sin world AKA Eternal Punishment also creating the whole metaverse.After the Persona 2 event totally ended and the Persona 3 event started,the exploding experiment of shadows nearly ruined the land.To prevent this from being happen,Philemon created the metaverse with the collective subconscious and locked all of the shadows in it,and he was forced to hibernate until they day that his power had fully recovered.But even until 2016,which is the year that Persona 5 happened,he was still recovering from his weak state.

However,no matter what happened,he'll be watching those persona users with a golden butterfly.Guide them to the correct path that they should.

Nyalarthotep but my own version?

Dudes got so many forms so I think it’d be fun to make my own 💃🏽✨

His human description is “a tall smiling man with handsome features” but I think he’d still have a hard time looking 1000% human so his eyes and teeth are still spooky 🤷🏽 this was my first attempt on his design (his hair and clothes change a lot to keep up with fashion trends)

He’d def be some media icon (totally not to attract new followers) I’m still working on his OG form tho..

Do you think a man should submit himself to one entity entirely or attempt to juggle multiple? Any personal experience? I've been offered to join up with Nyalarthotep I don't know about it though..

Entirely depends on the situations and the entities. I'd recommend only one as a baseline, considering that some entities will take varying amounts of you and frankly humans don't have much of themselves to give. At least in a lot of cases there is not much to go around as it were.

As for experience, any Entities I've had any... dealings with, only one of them ever asked for submission. The rest were never interested in any kind of alliances or dealings.

More specifically with Nyalarthotep, I would not recommend dealings with him. After all, what makes him more dangerous and malicious then a lot of the others is he's more human then any of them. But I suppose I would be a hypocrite to try and dissuade you. Or maybe I'm just speaking from experience.

About the velvet room part,I was thinking that could Saihara and Akamatsu acting as Theo and Eliz from P3?

For Margaret,I think Tojo mama from V3 suits really well.And I guess the twins from SDRA2 would fit the other twins (Since their way of doing those persona fusions was kinda brutal)

Ah,and Merope from the P5X!I never really watched P5X but I guess that Nevermind would do?

Mod,would you think it's a fun thing if Junko was Nyalarthotep,Naegi is the Philemon,Sayaka acting as the Belladonna and having Kamukura as the Nameless from P2? (Sorry for bringing out so much old persona characters that may confuses you but I was really curious about your opinion towards it)

Those sound like could work very well for them! Honestly, in my own Persona/DanganRonpa crossovers I don’t think I even change or assign DR characters for the Velvet Room’s assistants, I just keep them as is.

And I do apologize, I haven’t played or have any knowledge of P5X or any Persona game before 3. I’m casual and I’m missing out, I know…^^;

With the whole Cthulhu's name, I always assumed the reasons are that:

He never have a name to begin with and fans just refers to him as such

He abandoned that name for unknown reason

He never/rarely announce his name loudly and people knows him by his role/hobby

But your reason is also make sense since in lore, Nyalarthotep did warned MC not to say his name loudly as it may awaken Azathoth, so this might also apply to Cthulhu as well. (Then again, he might just exaggerated things so...)

Those are some good posibble reason, I'm like really intrigued with Cthullu cause he is a powerful being in the old ones. And i still wander what his rule maybe it will be related to dreams or Messing with reality

I Heart Cthulu

Howard Phillips Lovecraft was so racist it makes me cringe when I read his works at times. Never the less he was a man of the twenties and one could expect little more from a man of that time. Despite his raging racism and sexism he remains one of my all time favorite authors and one of my biggest influences for my writing. Obviously the most famous creation of his was “The Call Of Cthulu” which spawned hus most famous creature, Cthulu. Lovecrafts brand of horror was the kind that involved the creeping horror that I believe to be the worst kind. The monsters and entities were not always understandable and sometimes they never made a physical appearance, but that only compounded the fear. The unknown can often be the scariest thing in life, that realization that something is lurking just out of sight, or just beyond the veil of reality. Sadly, the lovecraftian style of horror has rarely been done correctly in film, with most of them turning out to be incredibly corny and boring. The three best film examples of lovecraftian horror that come too mind are the following;

Event Horizon

The Thing (the one from the eighties with Kurt Russel, don’t give me that new bullshit…)

In The Mouth Of Madness

There are some other loosely lovecraftian ones such as Alien, where the xenomorph could be a creature ripped straight from the mind of Lovecraft. For the most part though, Lovecraft seems to work best on paper where the horror can be built up over a period of time until it is deafening. For a long time I have wanted to write a lovecraftian horror, but it is a task that is much easier to theorize than to execute. I think that part of my struggle is the one that comes from trying to live up too my own image of HP Lovecraft, without the racism obviously. Until the day I accomplish this goal, I will continue to pray and worship our Lord and destroyer Cthulu.

In the crowd's eye,Expedient Hawk is an excellent heir to the famous Hawk family.He successed at everything he want,the former student president at the St.Hermelin,the head of SEBEC (only one branch,of course)

However,he was never satisfied.Being drowned by nearly infinity power and endless fame for years had turned him into a nihilistic unicorn that cares nothing.

So,he created Deva System by asking Serene Hope's help.Entering her mind,using her every desire and wishes to create a reality that he'll be the god.

During the whole plan,he learned that there's a team of student was trying to stop it.And his half little brother,Tinkling Indigo was included in it.

At first,he didn't take them seriously since they're no more than a bunch of stupid students.But when they're already standing in front of him and casting strong persona skills on him,he knows that he was totally wrong,all the time.

But,it doesn't matter,because he always wanted to try the feeling of being defeated.

However,something won't allow him to do so.

Nyalarthotep won't allow him.
