So when I watched Christofern, it got to Garmadon mentioning he “was hoping to avoid this conversation” to Lloyd and Wu and deadass I thought he was gonna come out as gay and say he’s dating Vinny. Like I expected nothing else, just “I’m gay and Vinny’s my boyfriend” (or some variation)

I ALSO remember expecting Kai to kiss Cole when he saved him from his vehicle, then being like “wow this feels kinda gay” for the rest of their interactions in that episode

The weird thing about Lloyd's interactions with Garmadon is that he keeps acting like Movie Garmadon is his father. It's a similar issue in Season 8, when the best thing that Lloyd could say about him is that they "had an unusual relationship but he still misses him", as if the majority of the time he knew him wasn't as Sensei Garmadon. Garmadon was only never around because he's either banished, evil, or dead. Why does Lloyd keep acting like Garmadon was always a deadbeat who chose to abandon him when that isn't the case in this continuity?
