[ Venezia in Sogno ]

Long time no see! It took me a very long time to finish this artwork due to its complexity and size of the paper. I also got a new scanner which helped a lot making justice to the final piece. Not one of my best works, it was difficult finding a color scheme I loved, and I ended up by just following the flow and paint with whatever color I felt to. Hope you like this dreamy scene. It was actually something I dreamt, except for the characters, I knew it was Venice but it was so much different, and it was evening, the roads were enlighted with light posts, it was so lovely, I just can't make justice to the original vision.

Also forgot to mention this is a redo of one famous painting I don't remember the name of! I just took inspiration for the pose, which was very lovely.
