All week Y/n has been sick in bed, I hated seeing her like this. “Hey baby” I said quietly as I walked into our bedroom, being greeted with a blob of  blankets that I assumed was my wife. “How are you feeling? I brought you some treats” I told her as I approached the bed. “Did you get me Mini eggs?” She asked as she faced me. “Yes I got you mini eggs. Do you know how hard it is to find mini eggs in July” I handed Y/n the bag of treats and watched her open the variety of goodies I picked out for her. “What’s this?” Y/n asked, holding a box of pregnancy tests. “It could explain why you haven’t been feeling good,” I told her. I had noticed she missed her last period and with the constant nausea I had developed this hope that maybe, just maybe Y/n was pregnant. I could tell by the look in Y/n’s eyes that she was scared, the reality of possibly being pregnant setting in. “Whatever happens, I want you to know that I will be there for you” I told her. 

Y/n and I sat on the floor of our master bathroom holding her head in my lap as we waited for the results. “Are you ready to see the results?” Y/n asked as she picked up the piece of plastic. I watched her pick up the piece of plastic, eyes carefully scanning the object to making sure what she was seeing was correct. “It says pregnant” I couldn't believe the words I was hearing.

“I’m going to be a dad!” I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. “Yeah, we are going to be parents”
