Itachi was in a particularly good mood. He’s been able to do a bit of cleaning for the new year and all. Now he was just sitting around, enjoying the ambiance. This new year was starting off so calming and he liked it.

He can't get the image out of his mind.

Sasuke walking away, completely unscathed, from Orochimaru's bedroom. The blood that stained their walls, their floor, their bed. His Lord - no, his closest friend - horrifically torn to pieces by the very supposed vessel whose Sharingan they were meant to steal.

Despite the recently formed memories he's mentally subjected to, Kabuto moves quickly, making sure he isn't followed, and yet desperately traveling towards the abode of a certain artist he's come to know.

" ... Deidara? Are you here?" Kabuto's shaking as he knocks, hoping to get some comfort, maybe even a solution, from the only other friend he has left in this world. "Please let me in. I need to talk to you."

The western lands were rich with so many opportunities for travelers, located within the imperial town were a number of merchant stands selling items from contraptions, jewelry and even food. Through the bustling street strolled the legendary Sinbad, granted he remained ‘disguised’ in order to traverse safely without alerting the royal authorities. Sinbad, was on the hunt for a little job of his own, he was in search for a person with great magical capabilities to aid a much smaller village, time will tell of what’s in store for him.

Nothing else seemed to be happening in town that night. The streets were mostly vacated, save for the lights coming from apartments and houses. But an oddly-timed fairground had popped up near the city centre. The fledgling was too curious to not check out what activities were going on. Dunk tanks, amusement rides, and food stalls seemed packed even from the roadside. Had there been any advertisements for this fair? Or had the vampire been too caught up in his own little world to be aware of it. 

As he approached a female attendant flagged him down, dressed in a polo of similar gaudy colours to the nearby tents, “An adult pass for yourself?” A slight nod saw Alastor reflexively reach for his wallet and pay entry. He had nothing better to do. “It looks like ye’re really busy in here..” He’d start with checking out the Ferris Wheel hopefully to get a carriage to himself.

                                                 All fear the boredom of teenaged girls!

Battered sneakers, beating at cement, she’s out and off the road she’s meant to be following back towards the direction of school - following off for the hint of SOMETHING NEW that could be found down another rabbit hole, when the school itself proved to be more than a dull affair despite the hype and efforts put into collecting its rather impressive student body. A worthy goal, a pretty ending, but why does she have a feeling that nothing comes wrapped in a bow, without some form of restriction? School itself comes bathed in night, as if there’s something strange to them being alive and moving during the day; she can taste something wrong in all of this, feel it, tingling, within her fingertips, her tippy-toes. How it elicits something raw from Alice, blue eyes bright as she pauses to turn, a sleeker car coming to glide up towards the entrance, and the boys within made to pour right out. Ah, right there, right then, it’s them, isn’t it? Alice, skipping ahead a few steps so that she can make her own mad dash towards class as the bells begin to toll, passing, the one that seems the youngest with a sunshine grin, a glint beneath. “Cute stuffed animal~ you have good taste.” but she’s off, isn’t she? Ready to cut someone with that sharp edge of her pleated skirt, her form retreating for that therein.

“Hey, Deidara!” Chouji calls to their friend, tired smile on their face.  They wearily rest a hand on the large clay bird’s soft beak.  “It was a search n’ recovery mission— A long one.  A mountain slide trapped a lotta people. My expansion just came n’ handy fer sure.” 

But such an expansion would not be possible in that moment. In fact, Chouji looked skinnier than ever; The mission had drained them off all of their chakra and of their food reserves. They were exhausted and needed to replenish!  

Chouji looks up at Deidara, sheepish grin on his face.  “Ermm, sorry I look kinda rough.  It look a lot outta me.”
