It feels like nothing is really happening in these final chapters of “Kaguya-Sama”. Kei had a conversation with her mom, who wasn’t part of the main story and was shoehorned in at the last second. Hayasaka had a dream that may or may not be real. Chika said she wants to marry a sumo wrestler. The only big moments were Nagisa being pregnant and Miko and Ishigami becoming the new Kaguya and Miyuki.

Sort of a mixed bag. Some stories feel significant while the others are just spending time with the character one last time. Which, I guess, is what the intention was. It’s just that these epilogue chapters don’t feel like an actual epilogue, they’re just another day in these characters’ lives.

I got an idea after 273/274 of Kaguya-sama (Maki, Nagisa and Tsubasa's finale):

One word - policule.

I know canonically Tsubasa isn't into Maki, and Maki and Nagisa's friendship is platonic, but come on-

You can't tell me the potential isn't there.

Nagisa is 100% a little in love with Maki, and no one can tell me otherwise.

Look at her face and tell me I'm wrong, I dare you.

And you can bet I believe that "small crush for their best friend" is something Maki shares with her.

They're a little in love with each other, your honor.

(If I weren't so lazy I'd go look for more panels, because I know this isn't the first time I've felt the possibilities between the two, but I am, so you're just gonna have to trust me on this.)

And I can totally see Nagisa coming up to Tsubasa admiting she likes Maki too, but she's really torn up about it because it feels like she has to choose one but also doesn't want to lose the other, and yada yada, and there's tears and a lot of fear of his reaction and stuff.

But hey, surprise, Tsubasa's the best! And totally cool with it.

He immediately be like-

Look, I'm usually the first one to appreciate platonic relationships for what they are, but in this particular case, I feel like we got robbed.

Fuck canon compliance, these three as a policule would be so much fun, (especially now that Nagisa is pregnant). They'd make a super entertaining relationship.

Just imagine the shenanigans with these three dating and dealing with Nagisa's pregnancy and, later, with the child.

The sheer ammount of comedy and domestic fluff.

Welp.
