honestly. i still want to know what Myrid is supposed to mean dfgsdf

#the only other gene thats a made up word is noxtide but that still is like. clearly a combo of noxious + tide #myrid just. means nothing?? has no obvious link to boulders or the swirly look of the gene ??? #if it was a typo of myriad youd think thatd be fixed by now. but still doesnt really make sense with the gene's looks #pheel talk #flight rising

boa/saddle was a pain to get through but boulder/myrid ?? there is Too Much going on with those genes for my smooth brain to keep track of

#some genes do take me by surprise when they are more complex than i thought at first glance #( usually it's gradients i didn't register among the main patterns until really focusing my eye beams ) #but boulder/myrid i remember looking at for the first time in 2022 and my /immediate/ thought was #'oh that's going to be a pain when i update the pinfeather adopts' #well here i am . and here they are . being a pain #mem draws #pinfeather pixels
