Tana Toraja

Kata orang “Kalo gak ke Toraja itu artinya belum menginjak pulau Sulawesi”.

Kalimat itu cukup melekat di benak dan akhirnya aku mencoba untuk kali pertamanya liburan ke Toraja. Aku berangkat bersama salah seorang teman perempuanku dengan naik sleeper bus dengan harga tiket 180.000 (banyak variasi harga, tergantung kenyamanan bus itu sendiri) pukul 22.00 WITA dan sampai di Kota Makale, Tana Toraja kurang lebih pukul 06.30 WITA, lalu langsung ke hotel untuk mandi dan sebagainya.

Kami berencana hanya untuk 3 hari 2 malam, jadi kami memang udah siapin tujuan kami agar waktu gak terbuang tanpa adanya kegiatan atau tujuan. Tujuan singkat kami adalah Desa Wisata Kete’ Kesu’. 

Nah disini nih akan kerasa banget budaya yang beneran masih sama seperti aslinya, mulai dari bangunan rumah, kerajinan tangan dan lainnya. Oh ya kalian juga bisa beli oleh-oleh di kawasan desa wisata ini sih.

Selanjutnya Kuburan Suku Toraja di Gua Londa.

Kalo aku sih kurang suka wisata yang seperti ini ya, tapi untuk pengetahuan akan budaya, wajib buat dikunjungi.

Lanjut ke Patung Yesus Buntu Burake.

Aku kesini karena temanku non-islam ya, pun tetep oke aja sih kalo pengen tau seberapa tinggi patungnya dan pemandangannya juga keren banget dari atas, ya seperti kota Makale ada jelas di depan mata.

Terus ke Pasar Hewan Bolu dan Danau Tilanga.

Ini tujuan tambahan aja sih, sekedar ingin tau keadaan pasar hewan disana karena hewan kerbau di jual sangat mahal untuk keperluan upacara adat dan tadinya belum ada rencana ke danau Tilanga tapi ternyata waktu masih bisa buat menambah tujuan. Jadi untuk duduk bersantai dan melihat birunya air cukup oke karena sunyi dan tenang tempatnya.

Tujuan terakhir dan menjadi favorit tujuanku adalah Kampung Lolai, Negeri di Atas Awan.

Jadi untuk ke puncaknya, kami harus melewati jalan yang berkelok-kelok. Aku saranin kalo tujuan kesini lebih baik dan aman ketika naik motor tapi naik mobil juga bisa asal sopirnya profesional ya hehe. Pemandangan diatas keren banget dan usahakan kesini sedang musim kemarau, kalo musim hujan cuman terlihat awan aja seperti kabut dan matahari juga malu-malu buat menampakkan dirinya.

Sekedar informasi ya, kalo kalian kesana bertepatan dengan adanya upacara adat di Tana toraja, itu artinya kalian beruntung banget !!. Aku dua kali kesana dan belom ada upacara adat, padahal udah tanya ke beberapa orang huhu. Kenapa beruntung? Karena upacara adat disana sangat mewah dengan runtutannya yang banyak dan unik banget.

Buat makanan dan penginapan disana gimana?. Nah kalo soal makanan, terutama buat muslim, ada beberapa warung yang memang halal tapi gak banyak ya, jadi kalian memang harus teliti dan bertanya aja apakah halal atau tidak (mengingat muslim itu minoritas ya disana hehe). Penginapan cukup banyak disana dan yang penting cari aja yang nyaman dan dekat, kalian harus telusuri dulu di internet seberapa jauh penginapan dan tujuan-tujuan yang akan kalian kunjungi.

Catatan Manis :

Perjalanan 3 hari 2 malam itu membuat aku mengerti apa yang dimaksud perkataan orang-orang itu, memang ketika kesana kita akan benar-benar dibawa ke budaya yang memang dijaga keasliannya, akan merasakan perbedaan yang sangat jelas. ENJOY !!!
