sleeping over @ my friend's house and we were talking abt music and I said like Oh I discovered this song cause of some Riddler fanart & then about how we both have characters we're crazy abt & I told her like "it's gonna be two years now and my Riddler craze has not left" and she was like "oh I know cause isn't that common for ND people?" and I just said YEAH ^^ but then I realized I've never told her about my POSSIBLE autism diagnosis 😭 ANYWAYS she asked me like "why are you so crazy about him I wanna know!!" and I kept telling her like nonono you see I'm TOO crazy and it'll take a while to tell you everything but she was like I'M ALL EARS !!!! so I started talking and talking and talking and she was falling asleep & I kept having to shake her awake 😭 in the end we only got up to the Riddler arrest scene because it's Literally 4 in the morning RN like I've been talking abt this freak for over an hour ..... also she was like "you're gonna keep talking in the morning 🆗?" and I said OKAY 🩷 YAY 🩷 & then I showed her Riddler Arrest Scene one of the most crucial cinematic moments for me in recent times and she was like "YEAH ok this shit goes crazy" like mhm mhm!!! and then I released her <3

#this is just a long complaint #i cannot find a single korean musician or singer or band that i consistently like #there will be one or two songs that are palatable and the rest are all astonishingly mediocre at best and tragically awful at worst #i have found exactly one song that i actually love #and all the others are just songs that don't make my ears bleed (but aren't anything I'd listen to if I wasn't trying to learn korean) #and most of the time that means putting up with the worst possible lyrics for the sake of the fact that at least i like the tune and singer #granted i don't tend to like indie or pop and it's hard to find a band that isn't one or the other or both #i know that statistically there has to be a korean artist out there somewhere that i will like #but this is such a slog #listening to music shouldn't be an exhausting process but here we are #at this point i'd give an arm and a leg for one (1) album that doesn't have multiple songs that activate my gag reflex

I try my best to be understanding and patient given the absolute shambles that is the healthcare system, but sometimes it is very hard to be understanding when walking is so painful and it feels like they're taking their sweet time

#went to mādahòkì farm to volunteer on friday #my task was to clear out the (invasive) grapevines and the other weeds growing around the fence in one of the horse paddocks #it was hot and sunny and i may have forgotten to drink enough water #i wasn't surprised to pass the heck out from heat exhaustion after coming home and showering #i also wasn't surprised to have some red patches on my skin afterwards - there's a couple spots that were stinging after touching a plant #I'm allergic to quite a few plants and even with allergy meds a mild reaction was expected #the redness wasn't super concerning either bc i also had my normal allergy things - niagara falls nose and sneezing and itchy eyes #what was a shock tho #was pushing my sleeves up 30 mins ago and finding more red spots and blisters on my arms #and then checking my legs and finding red spots and the start of blisters there too 😭 #i may have panicked thinking it was a pox of the monkey variety #but then i realised - hold up these blisters and red spots are where the stinging was on friday #and so i looked it up and it turns out if you touch a plant you're sensitive to and then expose that area to sunlight #you can get phytophotodermatisis #do not look at google image searches of this - the severe cases are v unpleasant to see #but i looked it up and those are the exact blisters i have - they look the same #and some of the plants that are known to cause phytophotodermatisis in everyone were plants that I pulled/cut at the farm #anyways. it's not been fun 😭 #moral of the story: maybe don't do weeding in a tshirt and shorts on a sunny day when you're allergic to plants?
