#before anybody says anything i have never played cotl in my entire life and i dont plan to. but. crow showed me some narilamb art #and i. well.. Genshin Impact gets a lot of hate in regards to rewards, qol, and things of the sort and that is warranted. But like... in comparison to HSR, it can hold its own. In HSR, there's an endpoint where you run out of things to do. It's a game that is incredibly easy. You can automate nearly everything. The events are so tedious and time consuming because it's necessary to keep people playing the game and having things to do. There is more effort put into things like the trailers, rewards, etc, but that's all they have really.

Genshin does have its weaknesses and whatnot, but it's a game you have to actively play, not have on in the background. Simply exploring gives you with loads to do. Farming takes time and attention. World Quests can take hours and have interesting stories. Each new map update brings new mechanics and puzzles to solve. There's so much lore jampacked into the game. Etc etc etc. Yes, Genshin doesn't get as many good things as HSR, but I can't say that not as much time and effort is being put into it.

#rambles #i'm not saying people SHOULDN'T complain about genshin not getting the same treatment or rewards #i'm not saying we SHOULDN'T expect to have many qol updates by now #i'm just trying to say that in terms of actual gameplay genshin gives so much #the lore is so heavy... the characters have actual character... #you take away the rewards and fancy trailers from hsr and it's more empty #don't get me wrong the gameplay is fun but it's definitely not a game i'd sit and play for hours like genshin #i have no desire to do missions in hsr... i have no desire to learn the lore or get to know the characters #literally who cares about exploration as well #but genshin gives a sense of purpose to keep exploring and keep finding out more #tbh i am not a whale so i don't really care to get repaid for giving the game my support #yeah the rewards suck but i wouldn't have been spending money on outfits and characters etc anyway #just keep making the game and its quests to the same quality and i'll be happy

I’d rather be haunted by Nene. Mafuyu and Toya haunt me any gacha I pull for. Pulling 100 pulls on a gacha I really want, “sorry you can’t get the banner cards but have 2 four stars of Mafuyu and Toya each though. “

Oh, I'm afraid I worded it wrong- Nene never comes home. In fact I had to spark her from the CG/O gacha. The entire 200 pulls I pulled off-banner cards.

Trust me, as happy as I was to see Kanade, Rui, and Haruka. All pretty high favorites of mine- I was pretty sad to have to spark Nene.

In fact I got curious and checked, my most four stars is KAITO.

Although to be fair, only 2 of them (Leo/Need and Kamikou Fest KAITO) were pulled off-banner. Otherwise I would say I'm haunted by Honami, as much as I love her, I pulled 3 of her cards (2 different, but I pulled her New Years card twice) during new years and no fes. I was honestly surprised to see Kanade and Haruka show up in my pulls at all considering I only had 1 4☆ of either of them before this.

Although truly I can't complain because I have a four star for every character and I am always happy to see them come home (albeit usually at the cost of not getting someone else)

i finally did it... 100% achievements on Hyper Light Drifter!

#after 4 years #hyper light drifter #the hardest ones imo... obviously one shot. i think that took me the longest #beating the game on ng+ honestly took less time than beating it without dying #and hoarder. hoarder was probably the most fun but i had to keep Extensive notes in order to track what all i had collected #but the exploration is my favourite part of the game soo teehee #don't give up was also a beast but i employed an autoclicker to just launch myself off a cliff for a while #the 800 chain dashes. i would try like 3-4 times and get up to 600 and then to give my wrist a break i would go hunt gearbits for a while #eventually i got it though ugh #anyway i did all my achievement hunting on ng+ which SUCKS because i couldn't wear or Even Look At all the outfits i got :( #wow. and after all that it only took me 36 hours #the other game i have 100% achievements on steam is stardew valley and i have like 120 hours in stardew
