A new sculpture! Finally... I feel like I never sculpt anymore since I'm always sick or have some 500 other things going on or projects to finish, but I'm trying to schedule time to do it more often this year hopefully..! Just a generic fantasy creature as usual, but did try making the eyes a little more sparkly this time.. hrmm..

Here. this is $50. or more. or less. #negotiate. the worth is whatever you feel like it is so i personally dont have to make that decision. etc. lol... But etsy doesn't let you #do auctions or like pay what you want type stuff so.. then I was thinking ebay? but idk.. ANYWAY.. I want to set things #up so I can sell stuff again hopefully. I still haven't fully recovered from the costs of when I had to take my cat to the vet and put #them down last year and etc. So it'd be good to sell a few things. perhaps.. maychance... perhamble... so on and so forthe... ANYWAY #I was going for whiter more milky sort of hair that blends in closely with the skintone but after the paint dried it seems more yellowy kin #of. which is fine. But just not exacltly like my mind vision lol.. #Also it's like... wow... someone with face spots and elf ears and a half open mouth with a gap tooth and wavy hair and kind of downturned #eyes... revolutionary... never been seen before... every sculpture I have ever made surely doesnt look licherally exactly like this... LOL #but maybe it's just a style. so what. People have their motifs lol.. Im just getting back into sculpting. I shall sameface in peace. huzzah #Just like the only thing I ever carve out of avocado pits anymore is eyes. Because that's just whats fun to do. I'm going to accumulate lik #25 similar avocado eyes and have nothing to do with them. I was thinking of stringing some together into a necklace of eyes or something li #like that but.. hrmm... ANYWAY.. Love to do the same things repetitively. :3c

#today I went digging under the couch to figure out where all her springs went #and found THREE of my d20s which I guess she stole during my last dnd game without my noticing #like I knew she was picking up my dice but I didn’t realize she was STEALING THEM AND DROPPING THEM UNDER THE COUCH #she’s a menace to society with zero common sense too much energy zero fear and a talent for being annoying on purpose #when she wants my attention she will not just go do something she knows she shouldn’t #she will loudly meow first to make sure I’m watching. and then do the thing she knows she shouldn’t #she’s a PEST and she’ll be one year old on February 2nd #and I love her even if she’s probably an alien #asks #and yes her eyes are actually that brown/orange in real life #midna is: very vocal. extremely bossy. probably the pickiest cat on the planet. big fan of eating plastic tho #crunchy treats? chewy treats? of any flavor? freeze dried minnows? no #plastic bag? mmm yum munch munch

checking in again to remind everyone that my skin is actively trying to turn itself inside out apparently and there's nothing I can do but wait it out teehee

if you bleach short hair but don't use conditioner, when your hair dries after being washed, it's kinda stiff. holds the shape it dried in until you muss it up and then it gets all soft again.

so in the summer one time, I washed my hair before work. and a customer was like, 'I really love your hair!! :o how do you style it?'

and I was like, style? and patted at it to find that it'd dried all windswept. 'I drive with the windows open?' was uh. not the answer she was looking for. sorry.

Do you know how unnerving it is to wake up abruptly in the middle of the night finding yourself involuntarily muttering aloud “before it gets better darkness gets bigger the person that you’d take a bullet for is behind the trigger…” or “there’s a room in hotel New York City… shares our fate and deserves… pity…”

#The only waking up experience more unnerving is when you’ve been sleeping with your eyes open #Waking up without having to open your eyes is just. OOF. All around. Plus your eyes are so dried out #But it’s just everything is black and then BAM you’re awake with no like little moment of moving your eyelids to ease into the day first #It just hits you like a brick. AND YOUR EYES ARE SO DRY. #Not an intentional thing I do sometimes I just accidentally open my eyes while fully asleep my uncle does it too it runs in the family #Me & him also sleep talk a lot so you can imagine how fucking creepy that is #My dad shared a room with my uncle when they were kids & he’d come home late from baseball games #To find my uncle fully asleep but with his eyes open talking complete nonsense. And like obviously when someone’s looking at you and talkin #you immediately assume they’re talking to you. Had to fix the disc cleaning machine again and fuck if I didn’t manage to do it! It’s working just fine now!

But my hands and especially fingertips huuuurt. Even typing this is sending little jolts of “ow uncomfy ouch” from my fingers. Also even after scrubbing my hands clean there’s still remnants of that white compound stuff cracked into my skin and under my nails. Oof.

#Jules works #the back tube that connects the compound to the motor was dried solid #and I got it free and then was like ‘I’m gonna run it under warm water in the sink’ and THEN #I had the brilliant idea of using the flat end of a knife to use pressure to force the solidified compound out and clear the tube! #sadly the front tube only disconnects in one spot and it’s a BITCH to get to #and it only opens on one side so I could not repeat the previous method #but using water - straightened paperclips - and a squeezy eye dropper thing to force air pressure in the opposite end I got it all loose! #we’re back in business! #I may not know a bunch but I sure can fashion my way to a solution 8 times out of 10
