I fucking love Altaïr

He's such an interesting character

I love his dynamics between all the characters. I love how he Is written. I love the way he dev through the game. He started out as an extremly feared assassin. Legends were told about him. Besides his skills he was still "damaging" the Brotherhood rules and stuff by being too proud. They let a protagonist to be proud and (a Little) mean. They gave him the weight of being the reasons for Kadar's death. (Ik some of yall can Say its not actually his fault but thats not important, thats still what it seems at least to Malik's eyes)

ALSO HE SILLY??? HE SO COOL THE FUCKING ANGEL OF DEATH AND HE CAN'T SWIM??? HE FELLS IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY ??

Also he so cool he can Jump looking like an Angel, he is not afraid, he challenges his master, his robe makes him look like an Eagle, in fact his name means Eagle.... I love BIRDS ESPECIALLY EANGLES. I love the pairing. Like, had AltDes not been my OTP, I’m pretty sure it’ll be Desmond/Malik. XD

So yes, I would love to write it as a main pairing. Although, considering my current and upcoming fics, the best I can offer right now is a oneshot.

If you’re asking if I have any actual Malik x Desmond plot idea at the moment, no. Not at the moment.

All I have are sorta-plot points like Malik mistaking Desmond for Altaïr, Altaïr suffering through Malik and Desmond being lovey-dovey (which is a change since it’s mostly Malik suffering in my fics) and Kadar being a supportive younger brother.

So if you have any requests or ideas for this pairing, I’m all ears. :)

Assassin's Creed 3 is SO GOOD BECAUSE UHMMMM CONNOR AND IT HITS BECAUSE COOL INSTRUMENTS Lorne Balfe has my heart

2 is an og and is SO GOOD so many bops

Black flag has shanties and I'm actually a pirate irl and it's so so good in general I love pirate music

Unity sounds so graceful and heavenly but chase by chase basis makes me feel like I'm running away from someone

Rogue feels like a soothing and cold icy environment which fits for the game but also just sounds so perfect with the setting and Rogue I general

Ac1 has some good ones and fits the holy lands so good I LOVE Jesper Kyd

Origins is easy to like because of how vibey the music is with the instruments and Egyptian vibe to the sounds and everything also reminds me of Bayek and the Prince of Egypt to be HONEST

ac1 was (obvs lol) my first ac game and it honestly changed my life. i didnt care about video games until i played it and it was so good. the atmosphere in the cities is simple yet so good, the background noises of chatting and pots breaking just. chefs kiss.

AWW ITS A BEAUTIFUL GAME ironically it was among the last of my ac games to play (although i did watch playthroughs on yt) but i was surprised about how well the graphics held up!! i love the background noise too, i feel like we don’t really see it on that level until unity! it’s a super good game and the story continues to be one of the strongest in the series 🥰🥰 it’s so nice to hear it’s had such an impact on you!

jerusalem is one of my fav ac locations! i love the graveyard where you confront maria-as-robert…. ALSO MASYAF. HOW COULD I FORGET.

Maaan, why is there only one game from Assassin's Creed series where you play as a Templar??? This is so satisfying!

Plus gives more chaos to this universe.

As we can in 100% say that in present times Templars are the scariest and the worst thing which may happen in our times, but in the past... I think some Templars things, some schemes, some plans weren't so bad and the Assassin's were the one who actually were obstacle for peace and freedom.

Like in Rogue - although whole American Saga is written in the way to cause confusion which side are right, in this part you can fully understand why Shay do what he do. We see that this world is whole gray. It's black and white like in AC1 - Revelations no more.

AND I LOVE IT

I saw many people complaying at AC Rogue and many on fact that they had to play one of those "bad guys". For me this is reason why it's one of my favs parts of AC series.

DAY 03: favorite portrayals of a minor / underappreciated character in a fandom

@servinglies //  i know, i know, your character is far away from being a minor character, but i rarely if ever have noticed much appreciation for merlin bbc and you are one of the few exceptions of these blogs that i follow without having any idea of the content of the show. but i love seeing you around and you express true dedication toward your character by the way you put thought into him; may it be through verses or the metas you have written. especially for people like me who do know little lore of the canon universe not only do the verses help but also the time you took to write the timeline! this isn’t something you have to do if you have the ease of playing a canon character but you did anyway and it is very neat and good :)

@eagleshaped //  lisaaa, honestly if you were to ask me what my favourite ac game is? i would go for syndicate. then 3. then 2. then black flag. then origins... and then, in the very end, for ac1. and i never thought that anyone would take in altair mainly because it is such an underappreciated game and even i have some far away memories to it where my pc could barely take up on it and i was glad once it was over because i wouldn’t have to fear any more game errors or crushes. so next to charismatic ezio and beloved edward i never thought anyone would take on this character, but i know you would do well because i have watched you taking on all these many other character before and make them amazing. thank you for that <3

@burdencrowned //  first of all i admire your dedication for this character for such a long time. breathing life into someone whose movie came and went is something i know all too well so it truly says a lot to see you still going strong and still finding inspiration after all these years. also i feel like rapunzel is a character who is often overlooked as well as the story likely hasn’t been all too much in the lives of the current roleplayers as they grew up with ariel, mulan, and snow white. you inspire with your dedication, with the love for your character, and the the creativity you have invested into her.

@drdumaurier //  i challenge you to take a look at caesar. and then at bedelia. yeah, like day and night and truly i think it takes great ability to pull of a colder character really well. personally i have never tried myself onto such characters and i can imagine that it is a lot of fun to settle into such a mind and write such a character that i always imagined to be rather calculating - and i see you doing that so well. i already got to witness some of it myself and really you managed to get me to care about a character i never had put any thought into before. that is also quite a talent :D

Ac1 is my fav ac game because I just love altair especially the way they animated him!

Apparently he had even more animations but, as most of the stuff, it all was taken out of the game :( His counters and taunts imo still remain the best in the series though!
