I have a 45 slide keynote presentation on my Mutant Mayhem predictions

Here’s some of them (basically all of them, summarized)

“Cowabunga!!” And other common catchphrases and battle cries, for example : someone yelling there own name

The movie ends with a pizza party

Raph and Leo get into an argument, and fight (either verbally and/or physically)

Everyone THINKS that splinter is dead, he’s not

April attempts to investigate by herself, learning vital information, but getting into trouble in the process, the turtles come save her

Donnie builds a robot! It brakes :(

Donnie’s bo staff is snapped in half during a fight

A mass mutation event is indirectly and accidentally caused by the Turtles 

Raph and Casey fight,, then their best friends

Casey attempts murder

Splinter gives extremely vague advice (on purpose, he enjoys the drama)

Neither shredder or kraang will be a main villain, but one (most likely kraang) will be a looming threat, a villain for a sequel.

Karai

Like always they will try to modernize the turtles, my guesses for this are, Mikey makes and outdated meme reference, someone is a twitch streamer, Donnie listens to Miku, new anime references

April and Casey will be teenagers, but older than the turtles

The turtles will all be the same age, with Mikey as the designated little brother, and Leo as the designated older brother

The idea of retro mutagen/anti ooze will be mentioned, if not a main part of the plot

Rob Paulson voice cameo

Leo Makes a bunch of dad jokes! His personality will be a mix between Rise and 2012

Raph tries to swear, but doesn’t/is interrupted

Appearance of an IDW character who hasn’t appeared in much else

Danny or Keno mention or reference?? (Maybe this one isn’t as likely but I want them to come back,,,,)

The earth protection force exists but ISNT APPART OF THIS AT ALL I’m talking like small Easter egg you don’t see till your fifth watch

Casey Jones is a girl (lesbian Casey Jones,,,, Gasey)

ALOPEX we know that the villains for this movie will be some sort of evil league of mutants. I think Alopex could easily be apart of this

Again the Krang and the foot won’t be important to the plot or characters but DO play some sort of role in the evil mutants thing

This will be MUCH lower stakes then previous movies

A main focus on the “henchmen” of other iterations, Bebop, Rocksteady, Leatherhead, Stockman

And I know I mentioned Casey a lot in this, however Casey Jones is very much a “lvl 2 main character” I don’t think that they can be introduced until the other characters are established, and probably won’t be included in this movie

Also the trailer will probably come out during the superbowl

Okay so first I LOVE how I did the lighting

Okay so what’s happening

So this is kind of like a prediction for Mutant Mayhem 2 I guess? So basically Shredder is sent to capture the turtles bc Cynthia ordered to him (she says that in the mid post credits scene)

So shredder beats all the turtles and he has like Leo pinned to the ground and has his hand blades against his throat and Leo is like WOAH dude uhm this is kinda scary

Idk it came to me before bed so I drew it out and it’s pretty accurate again

The actual shredder design is my own. It’s kinda like a mutant mayhem prediction on his design but also my own design idk lol I was having fun with it

I am very, very interested in Leo’s dynamic with his brothers in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. Specifically, that first scene with the watermelon. In previous versions, Leo has fit in easily with his brothers, and with the exception of Rise, was always the most responsible and serious of the turtles. This hasn’t usually been an issue, and though it’s caused tensions in the 2012 show, he’s always had fun with them.

He’s in the background, drawn into himself. He seems like he wants to join in the fun but doesn’t know how. He feels isolated, he��s lonely. Keep in mind that this is how I’m reading his body language based on past experience.

Look at this scene as Raph throws the star at Miley. His shoulders are hunched up, and he’s sitting on his hands. He’s trying to hide, to make himself as small as possible. This is a pose I struck many times when I was in elementary school, the worst time of my life. I sat on my hands, that I remember vividly. I wanted to disappear into myself, to curl up until I was so small I stopped existing and didn’t have to exist anymore. Maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but I do feel that he is anxious and trying to hide.

And he IS anxious. He’s very quickly demonstrated to worry more than he has in past iterations. He seems to struggle to place authority over the others, to make them care about things as much as he does. This reminds me of Raph is Rise, his struggle in the movie to keep Leo responsible and under control. It’s interesting.

And let’s look at that isolation aspect again. In this frame, Donnie and Mikey are looking at the video of Raph slicing a watermelon in half. Leo is several paces behind them, his head upturned like he’s trying to see the video. He’s hesitant, demonstrating something akin to social anxiety. A desperation to fit in, have fun, and interact with others, but unsure of how to.

Then at the next frame, it’s clear several second have passed. Leo isn’t standing on Donnie’s left side like he looked like he wanted to. Instead, Raph is there. Donnie and Mikey don’t seem to have noticed. Then, on the next frame, he’s leaning against a wall behind Donnie looking frustrated. His arms are crossed and he’s looking around like he doesn’t know what to do with himself. I see this having occurred in one of two ways:

One: Raph doesn’t notice how bad Leo wanted to join them, because he simply doesn’t care to notice. Leo isn’t exactly part of the group, so it feels natural for the other three to huddle around a phone and not notice that there’s no space for Leo

Two: Raph did it on purpose. He sees that Leo wants to join Don and Mikey, and he takes the spot to purposefully isolate Leo. Maybe he even smirks back at Leo before suggesting the ninja stars, effectively distracting Don and Mikey and severing Leo from the activity. I don’t have an exact reason for why he would do this, but considering past versions of Raph, it seems possible.

Please be aware that these are my personal observations and predictions. Nothing in the movie is quite solid yet, and I think that’s a good thing. Please give me any counter arguments or theories you have.

My Transformers One predictions:

Quick note: been vry inactive bc college in april is ROUGH let me tell u. sorry if i havent been answering any messages/inbox requests ! once summer rolls around ill get back into posting regularly again <3 ok onto the predictions !!

I remember doing this for Mutant Mayhem, so now i gotta go check and see how much i got correct LMAO

the trailer comes out in several days so i may do some more predictions based off of that, so this is more abt stuff i want to happen rather than actual predictions based off of something, bc we basically have nothing rn lol

to start off we know that orion pax, megatron, elita, and bumblebee are 100% confirmed (i believe another character was confirmed recently but ill have to re-check to see who it was)

either all four characters are already gonna be friends or we'll see them become friends

from what ive heard, orion and megatron are gonna have a more brotherly bond, so we may see elita and orion have some romantic tension? or theyll all be completely platonic. or all three are gonna have some tension. who knows, we'll have to see when the trailer comes out

^^ no matter what, im very excited about those three's dynamic because its not really something we've seen on the big screen

as for bumblebee, i feel like theyll meet him later on? like elita, megs, and orion will already know each other and THEN meet bumblebee

i just remembered alpha trion and sentinal prime are confirmed as well, so i assume we'll see ultra magnus too

we're either gonna get foreshadowing to elita eventually dying (as she usually does, but she may not in this continuity!) or we'll actually see her die towards the end, depends how serious the movie is

probably a lot of foreshadowing of future events regardless

Do you think that it could return despite the mayhem movie

Honestly, I don’t know. I can’t predict the future, all I can say is that I have faith.

People didn’t believe Sora would ever get into smash and fans kept pushing for it anyway. People didn’t believe Warrior Nun would get saved and it happened anyway, I didn’t believe I would ever get a Hey Arnold Movie and it happened anyway.

The point is, if you don’t try, if you don’t fight for what you believe in, you’ll never get it. I just can’t do it alone.

And who knows. Maybe people will be so starved for more TMNT after Mutant Mayhem that they will jump onto Netflix, look for other TMNT related things, see ROTTMNT trending, and give it a shot.

So don’t give up. Watch the movie, tell people about it, stream the show, make art, make posts, ask reviewers to give it a chance. I didn’t know about Spectacular Spider-Man until last year, and the fans are still asking for that.

A little luck goes a long way. Maybe we just need the right person to get visibility out. All I know is that I didn’t want to just give up on something I love. Even if nothing comes out of it, I know I would have fought for something I believed in.

It’s the Mighty Mutanimals

(This is about Mutant Mayhem)

The “crime syndicate and army of mutants” wiki describes

Based on they very little we know about Mutant Mayhem, it’s the common theory that the majority of the film will be fighting smaller villains, and be much lower stakes than previous TMNT projects (no saving the world yet) and the foot and Shredder will be more of a looming threat for future Seth Rogan-verse projects

smaller villains like the evil league of mutants

But an army of mutants?? Isn’t that the basis for the IDW Mighty Mutanimals? An army to fight humans? To protect mutants?

We know for sure(ish) (mostly based on toy order leaks) that Bebop, Rocksteady, Leatherhead, and Baxter stockman, will make an appearance

But what if the rest of this army is the more common Mutanimals?? I mean Leatherhead was on that team

Slash?? Old hob?? Pigeon Pete???

Alopex isn’t apart of that team but I’m still hoping she’ll be included too

Ok so here’s a few thoughts after watching the Mutant Mayhem trailer

keep in mind, I haven’t been analyzing too long but I’m just super excited and wanted to share my thoughts.

if you haven’t watched the trailer, it’s right here

Okay so, first thing I want to talk about is the scene with Splinter. I really love his voice actor, he sounds like an actual loving and worried dad instead of just a sensei, and I am loving the glasses rep that we have!

Not really any eggs i that I noticed from the scene, just wanted to say how I like the touch of “it’s 2023 Mikey” (I love these boys sm)

Next Scene! The brother bedtime (that’s what I’m calling it cause I’m not creative on the spot)

The brothers have a ton of stuff on their walls and Donnie has so many things on his bed, these are definitely teenagers lmao. I just have to say that I really love the art style I’m so excited for this movie!!!!!

When asked what he would do if they were accepted, Leo says “I dunno, get a girlfriend?” And Mikey says “can you imagine that!” To which Donnie answers “not likely”. I know it’s probably just a few snippets of their scene put together and that might not be exactly how the scene goes, or it could be just brother teasing, but I’m also a little hopeful that this is a hint that they’ve kept up the tradition of Leo being queercoded and he might be in denial. (Again, it’s probably not, but i think it’s be neat)

Next thing! The villain mutants-

I don’t have a lot to say here because I haven’t watched most of the iterations and can’t point out too many familiar faces, but I do recognize repo-Mantis from Rise!

She seems to be a teenager who wants to be a reporter so when she finds the turtles she wants to interview them so that maybe she can get into the mindset of the other mutant forces (Superfly/ Baxter Stockman)

I’m thinking what happened is maybe they caught her off guard and she freaked out but then they fixed the misunderstanding and now she’s teamed up with them and wants their help (well duh, that’s part of the trailer),

OOH! They might have run inter her outside (or inside) of whatever grocery store they went to (the errands Leo mentioned as he held up grocery bags)

it seems like there won’t be any Casey Jones appearances, much to my disappointment but I’m still very excited nonetheless. Maybe at the very end there’ll be a small glimpse of Casey for a sequel, because he usually does join in sequels or later seasons (save for 2k3) and I’m just so excited for this movie!!!

I had to add this shot because just look at the brother interaction!! That is some adorable bonding and I am so excited to see these little booger beans in the theater!!!!!

I’m gonna make them into clay figures. Okay, that’s my non-expert analysis and predictions on the Mutant Mayhem trailer!

A (salty) Defense of Rise!Leo’s Leadership Skills

Disclaimer: English isn’t my first language - this is my opinion - I love the turtles and their family dynamic, and think the movie is rad aka I’m not here to hate

Lately, I’ve noticed the majority of the fan base dunking on Leo’s leadership skills, and even the writers of the movie portray him as someone who is severely lacking in this regard. But is this really justified?

Is Leo a bad leader?

Short answer: No. Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

As early as season 1 Leo is shown to be - despite his flamboyant demeanor - a much more cautious turtle than his brothers when it comes to the safety of his family.

While Donnie suggests taking down the ‘Spine Breaking Bandit’ or the ‘Long Island Mangler’ for their first mission in ‘Origami Tsunami’ it's Leo who vetoes the idea and redirects his brother’s attention to something much more suited to their current level of expertise aka ‘Paper Thieves’. In ‘Bug Busters’ he almost immediately realizes that Big Mama is a threat. And in ‘Mutant Menace’ he voices his concerns about them leaving the lair during the anti-mutant panic.

Note that Leo only interferes in his brother's fun when he thinks that they are in real danger and gets annoyed when they won't listen to him directly - which I imagine is the reason he rather likes to manipulate or use figures with more authority to push his plans instead of direct communication. It seems more effective (he is great at it anyway), and less damaging to his ego when he gets shut down.

I believe he has been backseat-driving those bozos for years.

Furthermore, Leo is smart, adaptable, perceptive, and a brilliant strategist (and he knows it!).

He also has a very good idea of what his brothers are capable of and is unafraid to use their skills to his advantage. This is evident when he advocates for Mikey to go on his first solo mission to receive Hot Soup - The Game. But most noticeable in ‘Many Unhappy Returns’. There, he predicts not only the villain's (Big Mama, Shredder) actions but also his family's and their ability to handle the situation, while putting together a great scheme to stop feral!Shredder. Leo has the ability to look at the angles and easily sees the bigger picture.

When Leo said ‘You guys got this!’ he meant it 100%. He is shown to trust his family and is not afraid to rely on them. This might be due to his identity issues hinted at in 'Portal Jacked!'. He may feel insecure about his own self, but he knows his brothers in and out and how awesome each one of them is. Yet not in a starry-eyed unrealistic way. Leo is well aware of their weaknesses and limitations.

In ‘Many Unhappy Returns’ Raph questions if Leo is serious, and guess what, he was, cause they won thanks to Leo's plan. Here we also see glimpses of Leo as the Mad Dogz official leader with Raph affirming that he trusts him.

In the movie, Raph also asks Leo: ‘What’s it gonna take for you to be serious, Leo?’ And the answer is obvious - his family being in danger. Nothing more, nothing less. Leo gets serious as soon as Casey explains what happened in his timeline and why they need to retrieve the key and stop the end of the world (around minute 20).

I always found it particularly mean-spirited for Raph to assume Leo isn't serious given the knowledge that this is how Leo copes with high-stress situations (see 'Mystic Mayhem') and his otherwise competitive nature (see 'Air Turtle'). Leo would never lose on purpose. Raph copes by snapping and Leo by joking and that is a recipe for disaster. And while it's understandable in the Shredder situation I feel it isn't really justified in the movie.

Unlike Donnie or Raph who are over-preparers, Leo has also no issues to go with the flow, which leads to a seemingly more laid-back attitude and clashes with Raph's tendency to be a mother hen. But he kinda does not need that much time in the first place...

In the end, I think Leo has all it takes to be a great leader from the get-go. Of course, he is far from perfect. There is something deeply wrong with our poor boy's communication skills, and between his general laziness, his unfortunate coping mechanism, cocky cool-guy persona, competitiveness, and general deceptiveness it is hard for the team to tell what's going on and get a good read on him or his intentions. But hey, Leo is like what, 16 years old? And the good thing is, he has his bros who've known him for his entire life and know how to take him. They all got his back. (Or not?)

So what changed? What’s up with Leo’s leadership skills in the movie? Nothing! Leo’s character is exactly the same. He is as sharp as ever. It is Raph who changed.

Cause here comes the kicker, the thing the authors of the movie so eloquently sweep under the rug, the question nobody seems to ask:

Is Raph a good second-in-command?

But seriously just think about it. In my mind, Leo never truly stood a chance.

List of random TMNT headcanons/rando ideas (maybe predictions and hopes for the movie too?)

Mutant Mayhem Turtles Edition! Go watch the trailer if you haven’t already!

Right of the bat, Mutant Mayhem Donatello is the youngest of the group and you cannot tell me otherwise. After him is Raphael, then Mikey, then Leo as the oldest.

The MM turtles are related by blood. They came from the same clutch.

Donatello’s bo staff doubles as a fidget toy. Look those cubes look like they’d spin if flicked-

These boys are fourteen at the oldest I refuse to believe they are fifteen- no they’re babies your honor!

MM Mikey so flexes his deeper voice.

Throughout the movie these boys will be dumbassing their way through the plot. I f e a r for them and their inevitable meeting of their shredder… or worse Krang… THEYRE TO BABY TO GET TRAUMA-

MM April will become a big sister figure to the turtles.

We don’t see a Casey Jones so I fear he’s not in the movie. BUT IF HE IS- you know he’s a child that is either a consumer of true crime videos or makes true crime videos. Hence his draw to vigilantism. Bonus points of this Casey gets a sister. Assuming he exists.

MM Raph’s sai’s are home made! Or at the very least he sharpened them to be stabby

MM Donnie isn’t impossibly intelligent and making huge inventions (yet-). But he is tech savvy.

MM Mikey has adhd. Huh? What do mean pretty all Mikey’s are headcanoned with adhd?-

MM Leo is giving genderfluid vibes.

MM Raph and Donnie are a dangerous duo to leave alone together. They will do something, and it might end in a felony. Or at least property damage.
