#murder drones discussion

Other people have probably already figured this out and posted about it but I'm gonna say it anyway despite likely being incredibly late. (Murder Drones)
I feel like J has always hated N or if nothing else was jealous or envious of him. Despite almost every scene with Tessa in Episode 5 involving J it's clear that N was always her favorite and I feel like J was envious of that.
Tumblr media
Given her general personality as well, what with her seemingly perfectionist attitude, massive ego and almost desperate loyalty to "The company" she strikes me as one of those types that is actually massively insecure and desperately craves the approval of others but is too stubborn or prideful to outright admit it to anyone else let alone themselves. It's sort of ironic but a real thing. People with a severe lack in confidence may try to mask it by over compensating.
Tumblr media
And that jealously and perhaps hatred carries over to their lives as Disassembly Drones as well. Likely because it seems Cyn/The Solver (Or whatever it is.) seems to have some kind of sick obsession with N. Likely continuing that """"Special treatment"""" in it's own twisted way. (That and probably just lingering resentment.)
Tl;dr: J is a poser and actually cares very deeply about what others think of her but is too stubborn to admit it.

The case for Worker Drone X Disassembly Drone. Mostly Enzi/Nuzi but these types of pairings in general within the fandom. Aaaand how it ain’t proshit.
Tumblr media
I thought I’d make this thread *now* as I’ve still been unfortunate to be a witness to the same bullshit such as comparing N to a certain green masked asshole/Enzi shippers being criminals. Yeah I’m serious about these people are being incredibly unironic about this. Mainly on tiktok. I’m here to make a case to say that the pairing is genuinely fine.
Back in Murder Drone’s first episode Liam Vickers, our favorite dork, held a Reddit AMA many moons ago about the lore and worldbuilding. Here he talked about how drones reproduced, mentioning casually that Uzi’s generation were a thing thanks to Worker Drones like Khan messing with the original machines there. Something done *after* the core had exploded, killing all the humans.
Here’s where things get interesting, Episode 5 had us go through Elliot Manor, clearly something before modern day copper-9, With N, V, and J all being there. This would provide a bit of a dilemma age wise but it’s easy to get around. The show kind of backs itself up here with characters like Beau.
N, V, and J were never pill babies (alongside others at the major), back then they could’ve been easily fresh out of the factory, practically making them toddler young by robot standards. They never went through the same process as Uzi did, since that was a thing *after* the humans died out as confirmed by Liam himself.
Tessa, the actual Tessa, calls cyn 'robo-child' in her Australian tone. This makes sense as their age is probably best measured by how long they have been online, not their physical appearance. Characters like Beau and Khan exemplify this, mainly Beau since he’s rather intelligent. Given the Earth’s destruction happened, especially with what we now know with Episode 7, it’s uncertain if Disassembly Drones had been online for so many years. Especially between planet-to-planet. Cyn and her skinsuit of Tessa appear startlingly fresh, almost as if the manor’s events and modern day copper 9 aren’t super far from each other.
Uzi would have been awake and aging the whole time from her birth onwards, so her being around the same age as N and V (plus J) actually works.
Basically:
-N, V, and J were never pill babies (alongside other drones at the manor) since pill babies were a thing *after* copper-9’s core explosion. This was confirmed in the Reddit ama. Uzi’s apart of the post core explosion generation.
-The posters, duh. Episode 3.
- N, V, and J theoretically could’ve been 'fresh out of the factory'/really young. Like, Robo toddler young. Look at beau.
-Honestly with Cynsuit and how 'fresh' she looks the events of the manor and modern day C9 couldn’t be super far apart. Like the math is there. It works
We’ve only been given only a rare mention of N being an 'adult' and that was from Luke/SMG4 in a stream, and even he sounded uncertain. On the other hand, Liam’s old stuff from the Reddit AMA was practically repeated in GlitchX. And on some other occasions N’s voice actor considered him a young adult.
Is this a little convoluted? Yeah. It might fall under 'convenience' but too many things like up with what we’ve seen in the show itself. Even on the account of possible rewrites it still works. Feel free to add onto this if anyone sees this, I cooked this up in the middle of the night.

Murder drones tumblr how do we feel about rehoming all the sane people over from MDTWT who are leaving and letting them thrive here.
Dw I’ll personally find, kill and eat any problematic person who tries coming here.
Let’s discuss, cuz I’m scared this fandom is withering away very slowly
Also for context on what’s happening at Twitter: it’s basically on fire, big drama over the course of 2-3 days. AND a problematic person getting called out (there’s a whole account dedicated to exposing this person,,,)

Hot take but I gotta say it cause I don’t see anyone else saying it
So I’ll preface this by saying that I love V as much as anyone else. I love the whole story with N and them being tragic lovers.
But I don’t see anyone point this out and it makes me uncomfortable; V was still abusive to N.
Everyone talks about how protective she is and how much she cares for her friends but it’s heavily implied that she engaged in the bullying along with J. Even if she didn’t, she certainly never stood up for him, and she’s unnecessarily cruel and bitter in her conversations with him. People ship them all the time but no one ever seems to remember how awful of a friend she was to him.
Plus, V very clearly doesn’t see N as if he’s on the same level as her. She treats him as though he’s weak and incapable, ex. Refusing to share the truth about their past and the solver with him.
I get that V has this whole thing about closing off her emotions to take all the dirty work for her friends, but that doesn’t change the fact that there’s a power imbalance in her and N’s relationship and that for most of her time as a murder drone she was terrible to him. And she doesn’t need to go out of her way to be cruel to be emotionally distant. And again, im not saying she didn’t care. But she can still care about him and be abusive to him at the same time, which she is.
It disturbs me how no one points this out. I guess it’s because all they see is how she was as a worker drone and how tragic of a story it is that she had to be a sadistic killer for self preservation, and her sacrifice. And I would love to have seen how N and V would’ve been if they were still worker drones, I love that dynamic of the shy and timid paired with the optimistic. Heck, I would’ve loved their relationship as murder drones if it weren’t for the fact that, AGAIN, she’s downright awful to N. (Don’t get me wrong though, I prefer n x Uzi any day.) I wish I’d see ANYONE talking about this, it really wasn’t fair to N how V treated him.

Welcome to part five of the breakdown of the Murder Drones Season One trailer!
Major spoilers under the cut, and warning this one not only has robot gore, but also has bug imagery. So if you are triggered by those things, please do not read past this.
First we have Uzi and N coming across an ominous sight of something that has not only broken though the wall but also left the goop we saw in the previous scenes all around the hole.
Is the goop corrosive? Or is whatever made the hole huge? Either answer has terrifying implications.
The line that plays over this scene is "What...are you things?" Said by Uzi who sounds terrified. Not sure who she is speaking to. This implies that whatever is killing and causing this destruction is something unknown.
I think it probably robotic, but the question is, was it on the planet before disassembly drones? Or is it something that acts as a failsafe in case the disassembly drones don't finish their job?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second scene has a lot going on, my first reaction to see what is either a tail or a claw, was to immediately lose it cause what the hell is that?
Upon further inspection I lost it even more as you can see, the worker drone is aware of it behind the other worker drone, and is snapping. Implying that the worker drone is commanding the thing to kill the other one!
Is this the person who's killing the other worker drones? I have so many questions, and also very bad for the worker drone with glasses. He looks like he was meeting with a friend and that friend proceeded to command something to murder him like a jerk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next scene we get a flash of this.
Also lost it, cause centipedes? On a robot planet??? Where did they come from? What are they doing here? Are they mangled bodies of worker drones? Failed experiments? Some unholy combo of the two?
They're also huge! Look at the size! Did they make the holes? Are they the ones with the claws?
Tumblr media
The fourth scene were looking at today, is this. Mangled worker drones strung together.
Is this centipedes?
I sure hope that we get answers for this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So that's all of the breakdown today, this one I have less theories and more like loads of questions cause I'm confused at what these ones could possibly mean.
Please share your theories in comments and in reblogs, I'd love to here all about them, and also the lovely people who have commented corrections please continue doing so!
There's only so much I can discern from my eyes, so if I miss something point it out!
Edit: Part six linked below!
Double edit: Part seven linked below!

DID YUO SEE THE GIF GLITCH JUST DROPPED-
I DID NOT AND DO NOT WANT TO.
Allow me to explain: I want to watch any and all Murder Drones episodes blindly without knowing or seeing anything on them. In fact, that's how I enjoy watching this show. Why, you may ask?
Because that's how I first watched the pilot.
I knew literally nothing about it. I didn't know who voiced in it, what it was all about, who created it... nothing. I just saw a thumbnail for a show that had to do with robots on the internet, and decided to watch it on a whim.
I was blindsided by everything. The first thing I did when N spoke was to very loudly exclaim "MICHEAL?!" And you know what? I enjoyed what I saw! It may have taken me two separate occasions to finish, but I enjoyed my experience watching it!
Did I know episode two came out? I was hyperfixating on something else at the time, so I only found out about it months later. And like with the pilot, I knew nothing about it. I hadn't seen any teasers or anything on it, so once again, I was blindsided by everything I witnessed. So on and so forth, for each and every episode.
It was easy for me not to see anything, because I didn't have reliable internet at the time. Therefore, I was completely unaware of release dates, I didn't see any teasers, I didn't see anything for any episodes.
Obviously, I could not avoid the one featured in GLITCHX, so it was unavoidable and is therefore the only exception to this rule. I am willingly choosing to commit to how I watch these next episodes, because it's been an enjoyable experience for me to get slapped in the face by every episode of this series so far.
And I'd like to keep it that way.
Okay, this is turning out longer than I meant it to be, so let's get to the point I wanna make: while this is the first news we're getting in a long while and it's certainly exciting, I am purposely trying to avoid seeing it so I can continue enjoying it this way.
Anyway, here's N playing the trumpet as an apology if I came off as aggressive at the start there. :3

With all due respect to the envy and thuzi shippers but there's no way not to be bizarre after these 7 episodes and countless indications that Liam intended for Nuzi to be endgame I still hear things like "no, thuzi and envy clearly it was going to be canon but Liam opted for fansevice"
like dude, you´re you in denial or are you just dumb??? 😭😭
none of you have an obligation to like or care about nuzi but guys how hard is it to accept that there was no parallel reality in which your ship had a chance to be canon but the evil Nuzi got in the way and made Liam rewrite all history lol, this doesn't make logical or chronological sense, as Liam saw the most hated ship in the fanbase where all shippers were harassed daily and thought "uhum a great addition to the story" XD
Anyway, everyone thinks what they want, right? 🤷‍♀️

"J is abusive to N."
Brother, she literally tried to kill him, over a mild disagreement at that.
I think that's understating it. lol.
Sorry, I just saw a post talking about the subject and the way it was worded made me laugh a little. I mean, yes she is abusive but I think that's putting it lightly.

When depression ruins art.
Do you ever get so depressed that not even your comfort characters can help you, but on the contrary, they make you feel worse?
I'm talking about when you feel so depressed that you project your feelings on your favourite fictional characters, but you push said feelings to such an extreme that you make your comfort characters literally unlikable for the sake of expressing your mental distress to the point where you can no longer bare to think about them in the correct way, and so they become an empty shell of the complex individuals they once were as they are now just reduced to mere caricatures for you to cause them as much bad writing as possible, and yes, I am not talking about torturing them, I'm talking about giving them bad writing on purpose since it's more harmful to a character than just mere torture;
I'm talking about the worst coping mechanism possible where not only it doesn't make you feel better, but it actively drags you down and your comforts with you, in an endless spiral that just makes you feel worse, to the point where art isn't enjoyable anymore.
I know I had this problem, and ruined all of said tagged characters, so, if you have ever felt or feel this way, maybe leave a comment on this post for other people's sake or your own.

One more day till Murder Drones Ep 4!
I’m honestly excited to see what this episode, maybe called Cabin Fever is all about. We have quite a few theories on what the found footage-esk teaser. In the spirit of Nori’s Kooky Insane Stuff (conspiracy theories), I will list them.
1) Coming from when the CabinFever teaser was first posted—Nori is alive, as a maybe Worker/Disassembly Drone hybrid. The AbsoluteSolver chip or coin Uzi inherited from her mother has a pine tree logo on it. Pointing to a lab near the campgrounds alluded to in the teaser images. Again in the beginning of this.
Main Evidence: The Winged Figure in the video doesn’t have any lights. They don’t have a visible stinger nor the glowing headband we know Murder Drones have. Also, there is a little laugh at the end which resembles Uzi’s one.
(There’s interference in the main takedown, AbsoluteSolver messing with tech?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The image for the video itself shows a worker drone near a ship? Lighthouse? Regardless, we see no lights of any kind plus their wings.
Doll was able to come back from a normally fatal wound—why not a stronger, more unstable version of the AbsoluteSolver?
2a) There’s a second figure in the teaser who scuttles along the ground before the main drop takedown. A decent few (including myself) assumed it was either the drone getting ready for the passby—or there are two winged drones.
Which is majorly concerning since this drone is much harder to see. We might have feral ones making rounds in different territories.
2b) J and Tessa are at the campgrounds. There’s a second figure in the teaser who scuttles along the ground before the main drop takedown. Most people assume it’s Tessa since it is very hard to see if the second figure has wings at all. I consider this one debunked cause her helmet is clearly reflective it would have shown in the video. No glare what-so-ever.
3) We are seeing lost footage from past drones trips to camp. The earlier generations, at least. Or the Colony is trying to curb the rebellious/murderous tendencies of the teen drones.
Tumblr media
We first thought left middle drone was Uzi when this was posted. The far right drone certainly resembles Khan enough (in passing) to have fooled us. But no—they have pink eyes.
Honestly, it’s a fifty-fifty debate. Whether these are the teen drones parents at Camp 98.7 or a trip to try to “normalize” the teenagers. Maybe-Lizzy certainly looks miserable. (I am aware Rebecca has a distinct wig/hair, but they might reuse old wigs from their parents.)
4) Uzi is slowly becoming a Murder Drone or Absolute Solver crazy… Out of these theories, this one is the craziest yet most likely?
Tumblr media
“Don’t go into the lake”
I guess a point towards this being about the teen drones than their parents. Anyway, we can clearly see the distorted reflection of Uzi’s eyes forming a symbol. Is it a larger AbsoluteSolver symbol like when J’s showed Uzi as a baby? Or the tell-tale cross of a Disassembly Drone in the focused kill mode? …Maybe even a hybrid?
But do you all know what would be truly terrifying? What if the episode ends up being a slight mix of all of these? There could be tapes from the Adult’s generation going to the camp, maybe running into other Murder Drones. We could see Tessa and J scouting out the area trying to track where N + Uzi go. Signs of Nori being tested in using the Absolute Solver in a hidden forest lab. Uzi getting kinda paranoid she will turn into a Murder Drone/act like Doll.
Who knows; there might still be hybrid drones who have been modified by a crazy Absolute Solver infected Drone? Just one more day.

This really isn't talked about enough in the Murder Drones fandom but the systems of the Disassembly drones are so delicate that they can easily overheat and die. Evidence of this is how the company, JcJension, built the disassembly drones with the purposeful flaw of needing to consume oil to cool their systems in order to prevent from overheating and dying if they aren't satiated by oil, and this purposeful flaw is why the Disassembly drones kill the Worker drones.
Tumblr media
Another piece of evidence is the issue of not being able to go into the sun. The reason for this problem, could be that the atmosphere of Copper 9 is so thin to a degree that the heat radiated by the sun itself will cause them to overheat.
Tumblr media
This proves that idea of the Murder drones being invincible and evil produced by the worker drones couldn't have been further from the truth. In reality, they seem immortal but in truth they can die and easily overheat, if they're not careful to avoid the sunlight during the day and consume oil to live.
The point still stands that the Murder Drones are vampires.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk (I need sleep lmafo-)
