“Soviet heavyweight multieffect unit. A true Soviet design, you could probably kill with this one - it weighs 5.9kg. While many durable stompbox reviews usually state "you could probably run a tank over it", this time it's for real. All the knobs and switches are made to withstand a nuclear explosion. The control pedals are Wha and Volume, in the upper row the knobs are labelled (left to right) Wha, Effect and Fuzz-Organ. On the right you have two potentiometers that you can rotate with your foot, with the upper labelled "sensitivity" and the lower - "Fuzz-Organ". The last picture shows a rear panel, we still need to identify which secret military plant made this bomb.

Even more robust capabilities are available with Logic Pro for iPad, such as Quick Sampler Recorder mode, which enables users to swiftly record “found sounds” using the iPad’s built-in microphone and instantly build new playable instruments. Producers and beat makers that have their own sample libraries may easily construct kits or unique instruments by utilizing enhanced multitasking capabilities like Stage Manager and Split View. Additionally, users may effortlessly switch between Mac and iPad via project round-tripping, allowing them to create music on the go or in a studio.

Upcoming Features for the Mac and iPad

With Mastering Assistant, producers can quickly and simply apply the finishing touch of industry expertise to a mix that’s ready for release. After a mix is finished, Mastering Assistant can rapidly assess the audio and expertly alter many aspects of the sound, including loudness, timbre, dynamics, and frequency balance. Additionally, artists may start with the basic processing provided by Mastering Assistant and adjust each parameter using simple controls to create a mix that sounds fantastic in both a car and a club.

32-bit float recording is now supported by Logic Pro when combined with appropriate audio interfaces. By doing this, musicians can reduce the possibility of digital clipping while recording more dynamic instruments or performances. 32-bit float allows for easy amplification of recordings even at lower volumes without raising the noise floor, resulting in studio-quality audio and post-production flexibility.

What’s New in Mac Logic Pro

Sample Alchemy and Beat Breaker, which were first released on Logic Pro for iPad earlier this year, are now accessible on Logic Pro for Mac. With Sample Alchemy, one audio sample may be converted into a playable instrument through a number of methods, such as additive, spectral, and granular synthesis. By creating a diverse array of original sound beds, pads, effects, and rhythms, artists may now extend their creative horizons.

Artists may dramatically restructure and reorder audio in real time by slicing, rearranging, and adding scratching effects using the Beat Breaker multieffect plug-in. What’s new in iPad Logic Pro?

With the help of the Quick Sampler plug-in, users may quickly generate sampler instruments from almost any sound. Instrument creation is now possible almost anywhere thanks to the new Recorder mode, which enables users to record music straight from an attached audio input or the built-in microphone to construct instruments and drum kits.

With Split View and Stage Manager, producers may now transition fluidly between Logic Pro and other apps, such as Voice Memos or the Files app. While Stage Manager allows users to resize windows, see many overlapping windows in a single view, swipe to transition between programs, and more, Split View allows users to start two independent apps or two windows from the same app.

Using a simple finger drag to evaluate several samples, loops, or instruments, users may rapidly select the ideal sound in the Browser. In addition, users may quickly construct drum kits or add stems to a composition by choosing and dragging their own samples from the Files app into Logic Pro.

Logic Pro expands on its well-liked in-app lessons by adding more lessons on a variety of subjects, including as automation, sound packs, play surfaces, beat creation, Mastering Assistant, Sample Alchemy, and Beat Breaker. Logic Pro for iPad now includes the Hybrid Textures sound packs, which provide producers more content to delve further into Sample Alchemy’s capabilities.
